Possessing Plenty!

Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors], and with the first fruits of all your income; so shall your storage places be filled with PLENTY, and your vats be overflowing with new wine.
(Proverb 3:9, 10 AMP)

Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I recognize the preeminence of God’s supernatural supply in my life and circumstances.

Today I will not be afraid to face the fact that God is requiring me to do more than I can actually do, as He did with all the heroes of the Bible. Along with that, He is requiring me to give more than I have to give, as He did with the widow of Zarephath, so that He can take me into a higher level of provision and prosperity. Today I will seek to understand the purpose in His requirements (I know that He is neither unreasonable nor unfair), and I will recognize the treasure hidden in my own earthen vessel, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of me!

Today I will honor the Lord with my capital because it, ultimately, represents my life. My money and substance are the product of my labor—how I spend my time—so, in giving the Lord what I have, I am able to give Him what (and who) I really am!

Today I will not be afraid of any evil tiding or negative report concerning the economy, the stock market, the government, inflation or taxes. I have laid up treasure in heaven (investing in the Kingdom of God), and He supplies all of my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus! I am not of this world (system) and neither is my money or my success or my future! God is my source!

Today I will not be cheap, or stingy or tight with my money. I will guide my affairs with discretion through the Spirit-fruit of self-control, but I will walk in liberty concerning my finances because I have a perception of the purpose of prevailing over poverty and possessing plenty by proving the power of God!

Today I will repent of any mental, emotional or spiritual stronghold that limits the work of the Holy One of Israel in my life (Psalm 78:41) and will allow Him to do more than I can ask or think, in direct proportion to the power that works in me (Ephesians 3:20)!

Today my storage places (my home, checking and savings accounts, my income and investments, etc.) will be filled with plenty, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to honor You today with my first fruits. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reverend D, I added a response to what we were talking about on yesterday's blog to keep things consistent.

Today

Today I'll live my day so that tomorrow I can be proud of the results. Able to do that which He commands and says I am able.

I saw this video on television last night and it reminded me of God and how everything is taken care of. Even if you've been falling towards the ground. God will catch you and raise you up.

The beauty of a water fall evokes memories of the amazing sounds created by them. They have always made me think of the heavenly dimension. Sometimes I can imagine an endless number of creatures giving ovation with wild cheers and loud hand clapping to our victorious Lord.

For one to be a part, any part of giving in an effective manner to the accomplishment of our Lord's prophesies concerning unity and peace on earth is just a small ovation by comparison to what is magnified by the collective one of many giving effectively to that cause.

To be a rushing river over many rocks is part of CITN's destiny.

Got a question now... any suggestions or insight on how to cross over from that unbelief into belief wthout wavering? I have heard several people in the last few days say Lord help my unbelief, myself included (just being transparent). I know you don't just say it and immediately cross over to belief, I know your head can say it and your heart not believe it...I don't want to be the one that flips back and forth from one to the other depending on the day. I also know that my attitude, my declarations of faith and who I believe God to be determines how long it takes to get to a breakthrough, I'd definately like to get there sooner rather than later. And yes I also know to experience the moment..Iris, and enjoy the journey ...PM. That is all good advice-I guess I am just supposed to set my faith and not take no for an answer(He promised it not me). I don't know if my own blog was to talk me through or what, but any insight would be appreciated.

Dearest Tracy,

Oh, mighty woman of faith. Without knowledge of your situation it would be easy to bloviate. Let me just say this...you are more full of wisdom in your domain than any one person here on this blog or in your community. Tracy has tapped into God in a way that only a knowing Daddy, looking into the eyes of His beloved, could ever know. Those who have gone before you beckon you to see what is invisible, clutch that which is transcendent and be that which is hoped for.

You are a mighty woman of God and you are feeling what you are SUPPOSED to feel. It is the progress that makes you the handiwork of God. You are shaped and molded for such a time as this. Your Poppa holds you in the crook of His arms, gazes at you and says to all around, "I sure AM proud of her". Then he sets you down, gives you a pat on the butt and says, "Go get'em, girl".

Proud to know you.

As I was riding around today listening to the taxpayer funded bailout junk on the news, I just had to turn away to the music of Esther Happy, the cd we were given as one of the parting gifts in Uganda. It is wonderful how just listening to these joyful songs of the Lord's goodness and mercy can whisk you away to the Heavenlies!
I'm becoming increasingly disenchanted with the way men without acknowledging God run a government...death, enslavement and waste ensue. I think I'll turn off outside influences & just listen to God! Sounds like a plan.

Today is a wonderful day! Full of possibilities and the moving of the Spirit of God. "...and for Your pleasure WE are created." What pleasure can WE bring to you today? What can we speak in your ear that will cause you to rejoice?
"I love you Lord, and I lift my voice, to worship you, oh my soul rejoice..."

Does not God take pleasure in our rejoicing, in our spiritual contentment? Yes! So today, I CHOOSE to rejoice! I PURPOSE in my heart to follow after the love of my heart- my Lord- and be content.
"It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to our God most high..."
Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns!

Now, Larry Happy!

Don't worry folks, Be Happy!

Love to all!

Larry

Thinking about the service Tuesday night. Just what an amazing breakthrough of unity in the Spirit is being worked out among you all. You all are blazing new frontiers. You all are a source of energy the world needs more than any other. It is springing from a deep reservoir that is built up in God's elect. Not only CITN, but throughout all who God is giving ears to hear. This eternal expression of unconditional love is the liberty and purpose behind every living temple of the redeemed. And to those who by their words speak this life into existence; to these will be life and light. We must love those who cannot see the Christ, even those whom profess the Christ, but do not preach the Man-Child and His resurrection. These are our beloved people. We have to bear with love and patience the rebellion and hardness of hearts, even as we would be dealt with by the Lord. But truly it is the Lord who helps one and harms another to bring about His purpose. But He does not enjoy afflicting men or causing sorrow. He does not desire to be veiled behind a cloud from those He loves. Whatever comes against the work of the Lord will be exiled and brought to ends. Those who are afflicted, those who feel cast out, what has our God commanded us to do? Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord; lift up your hands to him. In the worst situation we can always know this , in all things...
(LAM 3: 21-16) their is one ray of hope: His compassion never ends. It is only the Lord's mercies that have kept us from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His loving kindness begins afresh each day. My soul claims the Lord as my inheritance; therefore I will trust in Him. The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for Him, to those who seek Him. It is good both to hope at wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
These things we desire. For even when our people lay in disbelief at the love and power of our God. We will exalt Him and follow His leadings. Let the scoffers scoff. Let the madmen drink their bitter wines. Gather together in unity and drink from the wine of the Spirit. Christ lives in you.

Bishop, some of the bloggers was at intercessory prayer this morning and although you wasn't ITB, your spirit was there and we prayed.

It is really cool when you have the opportunity to plant seeds for the body, God always honors that. I had a phenomenal day after that. Thank you for opportunity to come ITB and pray on a Friday morning.

The holy spirit was moving deeply on the hearts of the intercessors in preparation for THE BLAST and THE GLOBAL PEACE FESTIVAL!

The Lord gave us a word this morning that I believe is rhema from Isaiah 54...

"To me this is like the days of Noah,
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.
So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,
never to rebuke you again.

10 Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,"
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

11 "O afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,
I will build you with stones of turquoise, [a]
your foundations with sapphires. [b]

12 I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious stones.

13 All your sons will be taught by the LORD,
and great will be your children's peace.

14 In righteousness you will be established:
Tyranny will be far from you;
you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed;
it will not come near you.

15 If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;
whoever attacks you will surrender to you.

16 "See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc;

17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and this is their vindication from me,"
declares the LORD..

There are three things that stand out here for me

1) Some of the weapons formed against us is formed by God himself...when He says that he created the destroyer to work havoc. The weapons formed against have indeed been formed God himself says that will not prevail or prosper against us.

2) Whoever attacks us, will have to surrender to us...which takes me to a word the Lord has given me in this night-hour/the adversary has to give back what he has stolen or surrender to us. Now I believe...that'll preach

3) God promises us turquoise and rubies and other riches...which is speaking to the transferrance of wealth that I believe is taking bless in this season of shaking (certainly this confirms Bishop's word a couple Sunday's ago on shaking). I believe that when the dust settles, true believers will have true wealth.

The word that the Holy Spirit has given me is "divine wealth"...instead of saying I have no money, which is what it looks like in the natural...He instructed me to change my words to "I am walking in divine wealth". That is calling those things that are not as though they were.

I tried a little experiment this week and stop saying...I have no money...but declaring let the poor say I am rich...I walk in divine wealth (we can say the same about our health)...and I have been receiving money in the mail this week, free meals, a wealth of resources for non-profits...so there really is a transferring going on. I believe that we are blessed so much...that we don't stop and recognize because we as Americans are spoiled and we just expect to always have everything we need.

WE truly do possess plenty and much of it we take for granted and as Pr. Debye states, we didn't even do anything to deserve the blessings but nevertheless we always expect it.

Something happens when you start to truly bless God, in everything...we are created to worship and bless him.

Peace and blessings,
Yvonne

Lissa,

The link didn't seem to work. It looks like it might be too long to have fit. I'm not sure why it acts like that. I often will leave the http://www. off the front when adding a link here, you don't need that. Try the link again, or paste it in 2 separate lines. Sounds like a cool read.
You ought to see "What the "bleep" do we know" if your receptive to truths of that nature. I can't get some of the principals from that movie out of my head.

Anyone thinking of ever viewing the Bill Maher movie out now called "Religious"? I think with the right filter it could have some revealing and interesting points in it. "An American Carol" another movie out this weekend is a rare and brave Hollywood spoof on the far left, whom I also love, and looks good as well.

Cool sychronicity between some posts today Anon @ 5:26 and Yvonne.

God is , and He is wonderful! God thinks! And encourages rather than discourages us from doing the same.

Mat 16:19 NASB "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."

Joh 20:22-23 YLT and this having said, he breathed on them , and saith to them, `Receive the Holy Spirit; (23) if of any ye may loose the sins, they are loosed to them; if of any ye may retain, they have been retained.'

Mat 6:31-33 NASB "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' (32) "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (33) "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

I use the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven where all that I need or ever will need for my life and especially for the completion of every good work the Lord has given me to do. I loose any and everyone from any sin or wrong they ever have or ever will commit against me or anyone else.

The peace of Universal Salvation is flowing into me now, I am at peace with the world around me and everyone in it. I walk with the peace of God that passes understanding. All things have been made new looking through the eyes of the love of God for all. Oh God what release, what beauty, what love, the depth, width, and height of which I cannot comprehend; but only enjoy the reality of this sacristy in which I now inhabit, experience and see. Yes, I once was blind but now I see!

Now I wait in confident expectation as all these other things are being added to me. The Lord is Faithful.

Peace,
Dennis

This is worth taking a look at as we look within.
I know a beautician who is facing the loss of her job when the beauty parlor she works in closes its doors and hangs out a "for sale" sign. This woman has decided that she wants to go into business for herself and work out of her home or her own small shop and she's asking others to pray for her; to pray that things will work out that way.

What is this woman really asking? What kind of prayer is she offering to God? Her prayer is not unlike thousands of others offered "up to God" on a daily basis. "Dear God, give me what I want and I won't bother you any more"; or "Dear God, get me through this crisis and I promise I'll be good"; or "Dear God, keep me from having to struggle and I'll love you forever."

In short, all these prayers are saying the same thing; "Dear God, please give in to my fear."

For those who are sincere in their requests, what happens when their prayers are answered (in the manner that they're expected to be answered)? The requester is thankful. The requester loves God even more. But, what kind of thankfulness or love can be built on a foundation of fear? What kind of thanksgiving or love is used as a tool of trade or a bargaining chip or a ticket to by-pass guilt?

For those who are sincere in their requests, what happens when their prayers aren't answered (in the expected manner)? The requester is often angry, confused, depressed, or resentful. And by this, they're punishing God. Maybe if they ignore Him, distrust Him, disobey Him, or show Him just how angry they are, God will be sorry and give them what they want.

If these scenarios seem too childish, examine closely the parallels of a temperamental child with an adult, and a fear-filled human being with God.

Yet, there are also many people who have grown beyond the "Dear God" phase. They can often be heard saying, "I just have to trust God." They "trust" God to know better than they do, what they want or need. Or, they "trust" God to not give them more than they can cope with. Yet so often, when the prayers aren't answered, this trust quickly turns to a sense of betrayal and the requester feels justified with his righteous indignation. Hasn't he merely set up God as a patsy or a "fall guy" for blame?

The underlying cause of all these behaviors is viewing God as outside one's self or apart from one's self. It's so much easier to blame someone or something else as the cause of misfortune or fear. And it's so much easier to allow ego that voice of false humility by attributing an external being with omnipotent power to create all fortune or happiness. Whether we view God as the cause of all fortune or misfortune, we're still placing ourselves in the victim mode.

As humans, we hold many images of God. In whatever form God appears to us, as long as we see that image as something external, we hold that image as our servant - to accept whatever responsibility we want to give it.

But, God is in all things. ALL things - to include every cell of my body, every atom, every nucleus, every DNA code, every thought, every emotion, every sensation, every feeling, every action. God and I are inseparable. All that I am, is God. I AM the Alpha and the Omega. I AM the creator and destroyer of all I experience and all that I AM.

Hiya to all!

The post on choosing Jesus vs mammon really hammered in what the Holy Spirit had already been speaking in my heart! Thanks for reminding us that we are other~worldly and not of this one regardless of what is happening with our physical eyes we have to stay focused on Him with our spiritual eyes and reign over our present circumstances which are but temporary but the fire that produces the gold in the hands of the potter!

When we take our minds off our Father and look at our circumstances we sometimes try to control the situation which is fear based rather than faith and can cause us to miss out as did the children of Israel. Wonderfully, HIS mercies are NEW EVERY morning!!!

Looking forward with faith and great expectation!!!

btw~the testimonies from everyone who went to Uganda just can't be put into words! The message all ties into what really matters (HIS Kingdom), loving, serving, being grateful, living in the simplicity of now and not in the stress and pressure of achievement! Thank you all!!! Beautiful people with beautiful hearts has inspired me to a deeper level in Christ!

God BLESS you ALL & the PEACE Fest!

Love yall lots!

I have divine wealth.
All things are being added to me.

Quick testimonies;
Last week as I was contemplating calling my dad saying I couldn't find the birthday card he sent to me months ago, I prayed "Lord, please, somehow today help me find that card". Within 5 minutes my mother handed me a bag (as we were cleaning up) and the birthday envelope was there, which included a $100 bill!

3 days later I placed my last 2 dollars in the offering at church and that afternoon had a $200 check given to me!

...next day...a friend calls and says I need your help with a lot of things in my house and the Lord wants me to pay you for your help, AND he wants me to give you money up front!

I read the story of the widow who helped Elijah from another book this morning and then when I read #2 from "Possessing Plenty" it tied it together mentioning her there.

Take care all, and the Lord fill all your storage places!
