The presence of God was so thick at Church last night you could've cut through it w/ a knife. Then Pastor Debye's leadership meeting... OMG!!! I felt like I was drunk when I left,I still feel this glow today. Anon. 8:33 you should've been there!!!Focus on what you have instead of what you've lost. Keep your eyes on Jesus.Your best is yet to come. I can't wait for church tomorrow!!!!Happy New Year!!!

Amen, somebody!

He wraps Himself in light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

Bish, the pic reminds me of what you said at the beginning of service last night. Something about "wave after wave". Which, by the way, is similar to how God's anointing/the sanctuary's atmosphere/your prayer affected me last night.

I'd already experienced a couple of moments of vertigo while worshipping. When you walked over to pray for me, I was pleasantly tipsy in a Muscallero-wine sort of way.

You've mentioned that you've tried standing as long as possible, (getting the full effect) receiving prayer.

So, I thought to myself, Don't fall out, yet. Lord, don't let me miss anything. I'm not falling out! I drove all the way over here for je ne sais quoi, I AM NOT falling down!

OK... where was I?

Uh... why is my right leg arched straight out? (who are those voices? What do they mean, am I alright?) Bu... bu...but, I didn't get to submit all my prayer requests.

Sir! Wait! Come back!

When I stood up (on my own, I mean) I glanced at my hands. There was ink all over one of them. (forgot my calendar, checkbook, everything; just grabbed my pens) Started to rub that off, but wouldn't it be wonderful if that's prophetic?

S'mores, please!

Plus, what do you have in your hands? Bish did an excellent teaching on this.

Anon @ 8:33,
First of all let me say I feel your heart. What you are experiencing in this moment is something that most of us, if not all of us have, or maybe, are, experiencing as well.
This may sound very simple but its true: your thoughts really do create your reality. But this reality is absolute and transcends thought, word, or action---God, or the Life-giving energy of Creation will provide a profound sense of joy that is attainable at all times. You are present in it at all times; you are never separated---EVER.
Anon, you are not defined by your present circumstances. Your bills, checks, and leaky roof are not who YOU are. In life, there is both positive and negative and it takes both for life to work like its' supposed to. You, the real You, the infinite You, by changing the way you choose to perceive what is happening now, can turn what seems like a hopeless situation into a state of transitory awakening, knowing that ALL things REALLY DO work together for your highest good.
I know this may seem impossible to your natural mind right now, but you need to relax. Not just your body, but your thoughts and efforts as well. Effort is one piece of the whole but another piece is non-effort. You have to be engaged in the process of taking care of your responsibilities, but you can do it without fearing the outcome.
Try this: Instead of wasting energy "looking" for God, allow yourself to become aware that you dwell within the Omnipresence where thoughts of shortage or lack aren't prevalent. Then begin to imagine that whatever you need is not just on the way--it's already here!
Times like this is when you need to realize that God is not an outside presence, but that you do live, and move, and have your being in Him. Knowing that helps you know as well that just like everything else in that Presence, money is also available in limitless quantities.
Align you thoughts to this by affirming: "Everything I need now is here". These thoughts of supply are energetic instructions on how to access the real you, so actions will follow.
This kind of paradigm shift will take time, but I believe that the One who created the laws can suspend them and time will be on you side while you are processing this all.
Rearrange you thoughts and begin the practice of thinking in alignment with your Source and soon--very soon, all the sharps edges will smooth out, all the knots will loosen, and all the dust will settle...I promise.

Peace to You,
PM

anon 8:33,
I've been where you are, with 4 kids. I am living proof that what Peacemaker said is right on the money. You are an overcomer, just wait and see. Stay in touch.

In agreement with all prayers for anon @ 0833 and add my amen to exhortation given by Peacemaker.

I came here to enter a clarification on a mispell from my previous amen to the week of prayer and found that I had posted that amen on yeasterday's blog topic. As it turns out, that wasn't an accident and neither was the mispell. I made a reference to something being relevant but spelled it revelent. Revelent is not an actual word but if you take it from revel it can be translated as extreme joy or celebration.

From the CITN blog:

Spirit beareth witness with our spirit

A co-worker who is a long time friend of R. Rutherford told me about CITN. It has been a long time since my spirit has felt the witness of the Holy Spirit through a teacher. I had been indoctrinated for about three years through an SDA website. They are very convincing when it comes to the letter. I didn't see any other way when it came to a literal interpretation of the Scriptures. It took about two weeks of listening from CITN for me to realize that I had demoted my God down to their interpretation of the letter. Since listening to The Jacob Principle, Nexus of Healing and Forgiveness, Simplicity of the Gospel, etc. I have felt an awakening in my spirit.I know that God built a knowledge of the Word in me through the SDA and then he tore it down to build again. I want everyone to experience the "True" awesomeness of God. I can't imagine ANYONES spirit, who has a knowledge of the scriptures, not leaping with joy as God's love is exposed in your sermons. I know you give Glory to God, that is why I don't hesitate to say, you are truly anointed to preach the Gospel. And Jesus, through you, set this captive free.

Hope to visit CITN in the future!

My first thought on this was getting a big sloppy wet kiss from the Holy Ghost.

Last night was the first time I heard that song, must give kudos to Judah and all who collaborated on that.

This morning my thoughts have been directed to the appeal for love that seems to be inherent among humans. We sing songs like the one Judah sang last night and say things like we love God because He first loved us.

Most of us quickly recognize the appeal for attention being made by a child as a request for affirmation in some way and respond to that with a hug or in most cases a smile. When those interactions happen we usually feel the joy of the child's spirit, often seen in the smile or some other communication, that tells us they are comforted. Avatar's comment on the comfort of the child's praying hands is relevant here.

One of the most beautiful things that came to me last night was when Bishop, near the close of service while standing on the stage laid his hands on the head of a Pastor who is well loved in the congregation. I do not call the name of this person out of sensitivity for what was transferred and recieved in the Spirit to spirit communication that occurred and it is also clear that Pastor was all Pastors in this case.

During the course of this wonderful prayer there was much more happening than was seen by the human eye. As the human love was reciprocated it was quickly overshadowed by the Holy Ghost who filled the room with overflowing perfect Love. It felt to me like that Pastor was dispersing what was flowing through them to all that were receptive as though God was giving to all that recieved.

That was not just apparent to me but the witness of peace on the faces of those around me following that told me that many others also recieved the overflow of Agape.

I pray that all who missed any or all of these meetings get a proportional sloppy wet kiss to make up for what they missed.

To SDA anon.,

Love to talk with you sometime, for I grew up SDA...still trying to understand some things...being greatly set free by others.

CITN has been my home for a little over 1 year and I have never felt so much love, peace and freedom and worship than in any other place so far...in my search of the Holy Spirit presence.

God bless you,

I've had many tears and sorrows,
I've had questions for tomorrow,
There've been times I didn't know right from wrong:
But in every situation God gave blessed consolation
That my trials come to only make me strong.

Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

I've been to lots of places,
And I've seen a lot of faces,
There've been times I felt so all alone;
But in my lonely hours,
Yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus let me know that I was His own.

Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

I thank God for the mountains,
And I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms
He brought me through;
For if I'd never had a problem
I wouldn't know that He could solve them,
I'd never know what faith in God could do.

Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to trust in Jesus,
I've learned to trust in God;
Through it all, through it all,
I've learned to depend upon His Word.

To those who haven't been to CITN in awhile or those who have never been,

The stage has been set. Six nights of prayer.

Bishop has hinted to us that tomorrows service will be amazing.

Let's just say you don't come to CITN tomorrow, believe me you will hear about it one way or the other.

Chances are, if you don't come tomorrow, you will have missed the greatest live revelation you ever could have heard up to this point.

If you are looking for a sign to come tomorrow, this is it.

All of the pews and seats have been prayed over and the one you sit on/in, is prayed up, and waiting on you.

Hope to see you there.

Miracles, peace and love to us all.

Anon@833...I add my amen to all of the others who advised listening to PM's wisdom! He is most wise and loves beyond measure.

JB, yesterday's and today@12:15...ahhhhhh, sweet-sigh...what a beautiful post! I like your new word "revelant" especially as it applies to the comfort of yesterday's pic and watching the Agape love displayed last night for and through the beloved Pastor. There is in both a sense of the mutual transfer, not simply "down" but back up. Indeed, a call to revel in the increasing opportunities to glimpse the Christ.

Amen also to your desire for those who missed out...there is something readjusting about considering heaven kissing earth sloppily isn't there? Freely with abandon and great passion! How could we not want that for EVERYONE?

Izumi/Joy, Bishop's comment about "different rooms in the same house" reminds me of the first few days of the blog. I think it was you who mentioned rooms and us all being in the same house and helping people move in--and missing lavalamps (smile). Anyway, remembering those first days of "moving in" has been a joy.

DBA, remembering the first days leads me to miss you.

Bishop...you set the table for God to raise us up to more than we can be...seeing all the obstacles in our way...headed to that whole new world! A-A-A-men...we shall be free...and thank you mucho!

Hello Everyone,

Especially Anon 833 Am 011009.

I have completely been there. Last night I had dinner with one of the excellent Pastors of CITN. In our discussion, he reaffirmed that 2009 is a year that what we BELIEVE we RECEIVE. This is different from ASK and RECEIVE, in that asking leaves an option for denial. Believing is that it is done. So BELIEVE what your best desires are.

I know this from experience. I had many challenges early and throughout my life. Fast forward to my mid twenties, single father, with only cereal and milk for breakfast and dinner (Praise God my son had lunch at school) . There were jobs I received only because believed I would have them. I applied for jobs that were advertised and those that were not. When I was in college, I applied for jobs that I passed by the company, and ‘felt’ believed, I would work there. I stopped, went in, they were not hiring, I applied anyway. A week later, they called, they had a sudden opening.

Foodstamps, mortgage help, food depositories, welfare, I have done them all. Take what is available, act on what God has put in your mind or hands. Apply for any job, even if you leave it 2 weeks later when you find a better one. BELIEVE, BELIEVE, BELIEVE !

Use any mortgage help ( many banks are offering) , foodstamps, (many good meals from basic meats, veggies, pastas, cheap sauces, are very healthy, electric and gas help is available. Also, any place you pass that strikes you, apply.

Last night a friend of mine who had been laid off, was working art time. Their phone was unavailable for a day. Her part time employer was calling to offer more work. They went on to the next person on the list. The next morning, service restored, .they called my friend. Turns out, the person they called next on the list could not come in, and they needed someone that morning. They went in, and now have full time employment for a long lasting project. ONLY BELIEVE and YOU RECEIVE.

Good Morning anon 8:33

I believe most of us been where you are right now. And certainly each one of us went through it differently. And each one of us has different kind of faith to believe. (Not that I am saying you do not have faith, because I believe you do. If you did not you will not be asking for prayer.)

My brother/sister in Christ I can only say to you this morning. “DO NOT FEAR. GOD IS WITH YOU. AND DON’T BE DISMAYED GOD WILL STRENGTHEN YOU. AND HE WILL HELP YOU WITH HIS RIGHTEOUS HAND.”

My friend, you have a friend in Jesus. He knows your every weakness, your needs, and your sorrow. And when you think He’s far away, He is not. Make the Highest God your dwelling place! No harm will befall you. No disaster will come near your tent. Don’t see that you cannot pay your mortgage; you cannot pay your bills, or buy foods. All this, is because your deliverance is right around the corner, and somehow your mind just allowed you to see the natural things in the world, but not the spiritual things God’s doing in your favor. When we are in that kind of stage in our lives, it’s hard for us to see the spiritual things, because the only things on our minds focusing on are the bills and the debts we have pilling up.

My friend I speak PEACE, PERFECT PEACE TO YOU. I say in the name of Jesus all your bills will be pay. I say any spirit that comes against your financials security. Will bow down under the Cross of Jesus Christ! Any hinder spirit that hinder your finances now, will bow down to you in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Spirit of destruction is destroyed now in the Name of Jesus. I say to you are a Prosperous person. You are a Very, Very Bless person. You are highly Favor. You bless when you go out and Bless when you come in. you’re above and not beneath, you’re the head and not the tail. The power and favor of God are on you. God see you and He knows your lovely Name. I speak Favor, Favor unto you today and always.

The Word of God says: Riches and Honor are His to give (paraphrase). So are wealth and lasting success. (Proverbs 8:18)
The Lord has given me this Psalm and I hope you don’t mind; having it too.
PSALM 27:1-6: The Lord is your light and your Salvation- whom shall you fear?
The Lord is the stronghold (your only Stronghold) of your life-of whom shall you be afraid?
When evil men (like you’re DEBTS) advance against you to devour your flesh, when your enemies and your foes attack you, (again your BILLS) they will stumble and fall.
Though an army besieges you, your heart will not fear; though war break out against you, even then will you be confident.
One you need to ask of the Lord, this is what you need to seek: that you may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of your life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. For in the day of "TROUBLE" He will KEEP YOU SAFE IN HIS DWELLING; HE WILL HIDE YOU IN THE SHELTER OF HIS TABERNACLE. And set you high upon a rock. Then your head will be exalted above the enemies who surround you.

And the Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like spring whose waters never fail.(Isaiah 58:11)

My brother/sister "God guide us through the inspiration of His word, the inner impression of His presence and through circumstances He has created and allowed."
Through your daily prayer you shall walk to high places and look down at the valley.

May the Lord Love and blessing be upon you now and always. Amen!!!
Sister in Christ

To all who replied to me Anon 8:33

Sherri,Anon's,Joy,PM,Avatar,Eric how can I say thank you. I cried as I felt God through all of you. I read back over my post and thought wow, I was really having a moment. It will be al right and God is never absent. I will be OK and I love you all for helping me through a difficult moment in my thoughts. I am so grateful for this church and blog.

Good morning Anon. 6:37,

What a difference a day makes. Today, you're no longer Anonymous 8:33.

I'm glad you cried. I almost suggested that; tears are for cleansing.

Your post had the same effect on me. Mine sounded glib. Couldn't shake that all day.

"I'll pray for you."

Words.

Like everyone who responded (and those who didn't, but agreed silently) I understand.

Writing checks leads me to believe that you're a responsible citizen & have set down roots, somewhere. That suggests you belong in your community.

A mortgage assures me that you have a roof over your head. Sure, it leaks - today. (Maybe it just needed a good cry.)

But, not forever. P. Debye has said that life is cyclic. I believe that.

Somehow, you found a way to convey your needs. And, this morning, your gratitude. That assures me that resources are within reach, and that you are a communicator.

"I'll pray for you."

Words.

They may not keep the creditors from calling, pay your mortgage, fix the roof or prepare a meal.

But, what if they can? And have?

Abba wrapped His son in them and had the audacity to call it good.

Peace and comfort and joy.

Great service today(Sunday). This is a new year, but CITN is a NEW church. Its people are new and the Spirit is moving in a new way.
