Real People Blogging About the Real God

Hey bloggers...thanks for your very kind words about my mom and the healing service on Sunday evening...her computer is currently out of order, so Debye read most of your comments to her over the phone, and we'll print the rest out for her...

I trust that everyone has survived the blizzard of '09...

We're still trying to work the bugs out of my writing relationship with Streaming Faith, but at least we found out yesterday that their failure to publish my last article was the result of an administrative problem, and nothing personal...

Speaking of which...no, I haven't finished MITN XIII, so my cyber-accusers will just have to wait a little longer for new material...it's all good...God bless 'em...

I enjoyed all your comments yesterday...it's fun to run into so many of you as you roam from room to room throughout the house...

I'll probably be back here with something later today, but in the meantime, don't forget BODY BUILDERS tomorrow, and LifeSkills In The Now tomorrow night (regardless of the weather!)...

Word ver: EXODI- I had to go get a rental car Mon morn at 8 as mine was in the shop after I got hit(again) on Fri. Had to drive on some mighty fine ice behind slowpokes who forget you have to keep moving along as you go up a hill! Arg! But I met a young fella at the Enterprise whose Dad was from Nigeria who is named Moses. As I entered the office and commanded a blessing on the house to the 5 occupants, someone asked me if Moses had parted the snow and ice on the ride from the bodyshop. Then broke immediately into "Go down Moses, Way down in Egypt land." It was a rollickin' morning for sure.
Moses is 25 and has been involved with his church in mentoring downtown- told him about Street Jam & some of the stuff goin' down at CITN.
----------------------------
"Jesus went straight to the Temple and threw out everyone who had set up shop, buying and selling. He kicked over the tables of loan sharks and the stalls of dove merchants. He quoted this text:
My house was designated a house of prayer;
You have made it a hangout for thieves. Now there was room for the blind and crippled to get in. They came to Jesus and he healed them.
When the religious leaders saw the outrageous things he was doing, and heard all the children running and shouting through the Temple, "Hosanna to David's Son!" they were up in arms and took him to task. "Do you hear what these children are saying?"
Jesus said, "Yes, I hear them. And haven't you read in God's Word, 'From the mouths of children and babies I'll furnish a place of praise'?"
Fed up, Jesus turned on his heel and left the city for Bethany, where he spent the night.

Matthew 21:12-17 Message

"Now there was room for the blind and crippled to get in. They came to Jesus and he healed them."

This is a word for our country at this moment in time: the spiritual "money lenders"(whatever they may be in an individuals life or in the 'life' of the country) have got to be run out of the Temple(the heart) so that God may have "room"('Prepare Him Room') there to operate as He pleases.

Heaven and nature will be singing- together, in sync, harmoniously, splendidly all to the Glory of God.

Good morning.

What I like about the cartoon character is how his head reminds me of a marshmallow Easter peep; his jaw looks like a whale. (oh yeah... better blog some God talk.)

I don't want anyone to go hungry today, Bish. Not even cyber accusers. Here's some gingerbread. Correct it, if you must:

JOY In The Now X111:

12. Got oodles of JOY seed? Get ready. Prepare for more! Buy a wheelbarrow. But, whoa... if you don't have much - watch out! Pfft! Somebody's after the little you guard.

13. Thing is, I'm tellin' 'em in a roundabout way. Because, even though their eyes are open, they can't see JOY bubbles. And even when they're listening, they're not hearing laughter's language; can't dial in its frequency.

14. So, really, these illustrations complete what Isaiah already said.

NL, the original purpose of word verification is to prevent spam from automatically downloading on your blog, but sometimes the combination of letters form particularly meaningful or ironic statements or acronyms pertaining to someone's comment...and sometimes they're just funny...

At every opportunity, I am able to see more and more why I have truly found my place at CITN. Saturday I got a card in the mail as my birthday is coming up this week and I couldn't for the life of me make a connection as to who could have possibly send me a card as I don't really know that many people in GA especially with the sender's last name. So, I opened the mail and it's a beautiful birthday card with cash in it. When I saw the sender's name at the bottom where people usually end with "love always," The name...I almost fill out. I called my husband and showed it to him and we were both standing there in awe.
For years I was attending a smaller church and that has never happened. And I have always had my hiccups about big churches and couldn't understand why I was pointed to CITN. But somehow I have always been able to feel like an individual and not get lost.
Thank you for motivating your leadership and with that they are able to show by extension who you are. I am in my happiest moments as I continue in being apart of CITN.
Peace,
Nicola

NL...on wordvers...like this one "plauddli". Which is funny on your tongue, but also makes me think of the sound of bubbly "applause", especially as it relates to my enjoyment of Izumi/Joy's JoyITN today...it's a stretch on this one, but with all this explanation maybe it will make sense...plauddli, Izumi/Joy, plauddli!

Twitastic, Bishop! I thought it was cool info that I "happened" upon and somehow it seems very deep and wide that BITN is there...hopefully in a good way and not irritatingly so...(smile)! If not already, Twitter is about to reach the tipping point.

Catching up in passing a bit.

Great to see DBA back, hey is that a double back back alley and if it is just how does that work without causing a time warp or something. It must be a quantum thang.

DBA, I got a similar take on my first reading of Shack and have to admit that I may have rushed the reading somewhat at the time. There are some recurring themes that have meant more to me since that time and it is easy to see where some of the writer's inspiration may have come from now. Like you I cherish the out of the box Christ and Bishop's teachings are much more in line with my personal theology than most spiritual leaders that I have been exposed to.

Oh wow, bednedi hair 7:39, we probably should have warned you.

If you consume two or more Peeps every day, consult beloved blog community whether you should take cardboard or other pain relievers/bleh reducers.

Studies indicate Peeps may cause laughter residue.
