This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light, pure light; there's not a trace of darkness in him. If we claim that we experience a shared life with him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we're obviously lying through our teeth—we're not living what we claim. But if we walk in the light, God himself being the light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God's Son, purges all our sin.

(I John 1:5-7, The Message

I love this passage. Thought of it again last night while rewatching "Knowing".

I think I've posted this before, but its fun and enlightening to quote the first part of this verse and ask people to finish it...
This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: __________?

First time I did it in a class I was leading...no one "quessed" correctly...and had to see the scripture to believe what I told them.

God is so cool! (I don't think there's a specific scrip for that tho...smile)!

"in the light...we experience a shared life with one another"...Lord there's a lot hidden there, isn't there?

Hello All,
What We/I have heard and am passing on to You/Me __________________ ….

That is beautiful, because each one of us has understanding to pass on to others and ourselves. That is one of the gorgeous and oh so very sexy aspects of God. Talk about the ultimate passion enhancer !

God’s word manifest in the particular flesh we know as Jesus, has long ago( in linear time) purged each one, retroactively , then, and forward of the impact of the one we know as Adam, the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Sublime excellence. That manifests Allah’s word in each one, as it is expressed in every paradigm. We are indeed the rulers in the universe we perceive, and of ourselves as authentic to that Word that energizes each one.

Authenticity, that is a fruit from the Tree of Life, it is an experience that is light, it is now, and it is here. Authenticity is actual, real, as is real. It is righteous, it is peace, it is joy. It’s foundation is Love, it is the light that shines within each one, ever and always.

The beauty I see when The Light rises, intensifies within another eclipses the Light that ever shines on me. I know The Light within me and on me, it is my own treasure. My discovery, excitement, and glowing feeling is watching The Light have a new view in another, as they see a new color on the prism (themselves) that The Light rises on. THAT is my thankfulness to The Creator for The Nations. THAT keeps me going. As I see that revelation in others, I have a new revelation within.

Light is uncontainable. That was what The Holy Spirit flashed through on what we refer to as The Day of Pentacost, or the second coming. It occurred many times before in linear time, and many times since that day on this linear measure. It occurs always, now, everywhere and here.

The Light we pass on in ourselves and to others is authentic. It does continues the initial energy from the foundation of purging ourselves and others.

PS --- I keep refreshing the BLOGINTHENOW website just to see the world pop up with Salt Lake City on the map, and I think ‘Hey, that’s me, how cool”.
