Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, begins at sundown tonight (Sunday, September 27) and ends at nightfall tomorrow (Monday, September 28)...some of my regular readers may not be keeping up with the Luke In The Now postings (I understand that many of you are waiting for the actual book to come out), but on this day when forgiveness is so embraced and celebrated, I encourage you to read what I wrote and posted last night about the woman who washed Jesus' feet with her hair...very appropriate for today...please make your comments about Yom Kippur/atonement/forgiveness/grace of God there...SHALOM!
