Psalm 23 Re-Post

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT...

HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES...

HE LEADS ME BESIDE STILL WATERS...

HE RESTORES MY SOUL...

HE LEADS ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE...

EVEN THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL, FOR YOU ARE WITH ME...YOUR ROD AND YOUR STAFF COMFORT ME...

YOU PREPARE A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF MY ENEMIES...

YOU ANOINT MY HEAD WITH OIL, MY CUP RUNS OVER...

SURELY, GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE,

AND I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER!

Thanks again Bishop for your eye and insight mixing the visual with The Word, in this case with Psalm 23.

Sunday's service is exceptional. From the first minute, the dance, through the close with Pastor Rutherford and the song closing the service. In between, veils torn and the glass, mirror, cleared. Bishop and Pastor D.E. together deliver exponentially from each other. I am blessed to be present in this.

The atmosphere of this reality is transforming, and we are in the midst of a nexus that creates and clarifies. Fusion is occurring and unveiling further what has always been, and what we have known. Now, we see it in this realm, experiencing the actuality of what we have known from the beginning, and knew intuitively, and now enjoy in our experience.

Yes.

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me."

The shepherd has to continually move the sheep to where the greenest pasture and the stillest waters lie. To do this, he must on occassion bring them through some pretty rough and craggy places. The shepherd leads us through some valleys where it seems all that exists are shadows and forboding. ...Then all of a sudden- we feel the nudge of the master's staff as he leads us away from dangers and comforts us by the knowledge of his presence.

If Jesus was led into the wilderness BY THE HOLY SPIRIT to be tempted of the devil, we also will be so led into our own valleys and tight places.

I had a dream once where I was running through the lowest sections of a great sports stadium. As I ran, the large cement supports started to get closer and closer together until I had to turn my body sideways to squeeze through.
Finally the opening between two of them was so narrow I got stuck and began to struggle to pull myself through. Suddenly, I heard a voice say, "Listen to me."
I stopped struggling for a second, but very quickly returned to my efforts to extricate myself- once again to no avail! Again, the voice, "Listen to me!"
One more time I struggled to get out of this predicament only to become more firmly lodged between to structures.
Then a final time the voice said, "Listen to me!"
My body went limp and I ceased all movement and struggle, looked up to Heaven and repled, "I'm listening Lord."

Like the drowning swimmer, we must relax in the powerful arms of our Rescuer and realize that only He can save us!

Great service today! Great fellowship as well!

Worship and message today were awesome! I believe both churches have been given an open door to a higher level of ministry unattainable alone. Something new and fresh that has not been done before; as you reveal the Christ in All, and proclaim the Good news of the Kingdom NOW; Within The body of Christ coming together in power and glory for all the world to see - and it is magnificent.

It was good seeing Robert Rutherford again. I am so glad to have seen and heard him again. I have many of his messages saved in my PC and I made a YouTube video of one of his songs not long ago. IF you get the chance tell him I said hey, (the short bald guy he met in Arkansas riding the big black bike wearing the leathers)

Peace,
Dennis

Beautiful! Thank You!

I was driving to work this morning and thought about how amazing this Sunday's service is going to be. Yesterday was awesome, but I feel in my spirit that this coming Sunday is going to be off the chain and the anointing will be thick and covering the place. I believe God has a special word for you, too Bishop. I can't wait to hear!

Have a Blessed Day!

I really think it did something to see the "men" dancing in worship. We sing and praise as men, but usually don't dance before God that much, or see it- it was very joyful!!!

The Kingdom is NOW.

The Lord is still my Shepherd, and always will be. Even if I were to remove myself from the flock(God forbid), He still knows where to find me, and I can't even pluck myself out of His hand, for I am IN His hand, and have been there even from the foundation of the world.

word ver: abion
-a charged particle of water that abides.

Welcome Pastor D.E. and Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. First, I need to say that Bishop and his entire family are not only awsome people of God, but good people who always seek to do what's right. Sunday's Service with the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit is a testimony to doing what's right. There was an amazing energy and a special feeling of God at work as the two Churches worshiped together. The selection of songs for Praise & Worship by Nation of Worship seemed to be a perfect beginning of what we were about to experience. Finishing up with "Moving Forward" seemed to be right on the mark for all of us being together which I believe is the beginning of something New in the Now. That song also has a special meaning to me. Bishop and Pastor D.E's Word referencing Luke 1, being pregnant with the annointing of coming together as cousins drove it all home. "Greater things have yet to come, greater things are still to be done in the city". Cathedral of the Holy Spirit's choir brought a special and wonderful sound to the Spirit of Worship. Listening and Worshiping as Cathedral of the Holy Spirit and Nation of Worship sang together left me feeling like I had just experienced one of the best grand finale's of a spiritual fireworks show that I have ever seen & heard. The entire Service was fantatsic and had a whole different and special feeling about it. I left feeling GREAT! I look forward to this Sunday and hope to see the "House" packed out. Come and check it out. Love & Peace. Ray

Pastor D.E., I was riveted to your sermon. I am very thankful that the Cathedral has joined in worshipping with CITN. I can now honestly say, that when I first came to CITN, I had never been to a church where people were free to run around during the service. That was extremely uplifting for me. Now, I've witnessed my second eye opener = you breakdancing on stage. OMG, that was hysterical and you're very good at it. I couldn't believe my eyes. The openness you and Bishop have with your congregation is so heart warming. You too seem to be cut from the same cloth. Your styles are very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very similar! The mingling of the two churchs seems to be one of destiny. Again, I have one word:

MERGE!!!!!

During my meditation time this morning the song "Spirit in the Sky" came to me. I feel a new arrangement of that great song that describes the current climate at CITN & CHS is "Spirit in the Now".

Holy Spirit impart something very special to US today!

WOW!!! todays service was so wonderful our combining with the Cathedral, is a definate God ordained, God anointed gathering and the cousin's yes one has been crucified and resurrected, yes one has truly been out in the wilderness calling to all with an ear to hear REPENT THE KINGDOM IS AT HAND,(lost his own mind to receive the mind of God) in other words turn away from your traditional way of preceiving God He is at hand. To feel the move of God under one roof, to see if you will a Jesus and John the baptist colaborate on the word and teach from their own paradigm is soo awesome.

Subject: Spirit In The Sky

To whoever wrote that post - the last thing I did before I left the house for church this morning was to write that song title down so I'd remember to add it to my MP3. What's up with that?!

All I can say about today's service is OFF THE CHAIN!! It makes me happy on the inside to see Bishop and Pastor DE up there together. More, more, more PLEASE!

I have been attending/visiting CITN from the Sunday before Christmas 2008 and hve been attending the Sunday and Wednesday services on a regular basis. I mention that to let you know that from the very first visit I have been blessed in countless ways through your teaching/preaching style and your God given and annointed ability to do so. These past few Sundays with the combibing of the Cathedral there is definitely "an evolution" taking place in the NOW. I cannot express how excited I am to be a part of it all. I do not now have a Church Home but fairly soon I will, with God's guidance, make a decision. (My three choices are, CITN, CITN and CITN).
I believe that it is appropriate to use the word "awesome" "CITN" and "the Cathedral" in the same sentence to let you know how much I have been touched by your mininstering and the whole atmosphere of worship every time I enter the sancturary. Do not stop NOW. May God continue to Bless you, your family and the family-at-large.
THANKS BISHOP AND PASTOR DE.

I have visited your church a handful of times throughout the years. My wife and her family were charter members of your church(Tants). I grew up a member of a small baptist church. My family did not attend I went by myself. When I was 11 years old I had many questions about the bible and the religion itself. I was always asking different types of questions concerning the Baptist religion. Unfortunately, my sunday school teacher could not answer many of these question. Anyway, one question I had was about people who practiced other religions. Would they receive everlasting life? Would God show mercy for them for being so faithful in their religion? Your bold service today had an impact on me. You and D.E. are creating a groundbreaking format for fellowship. You guys had my attention the entire service and put many things into perspective. We not only as christians but as Americans need more leaders like you. I know you and D.e. will make the right decision on what is going to happen to your churches. But I will say this if you keep on with that type of Co-preaching I guarntee your congregation will double. I will see you next Sunday. Thank you

Subject: make all men come to me...BBE version

I can't help but to cry out when I hear the word coming from CITN and CHS! It is truly a message of reconciliation. It was great to see Robert Rutherford there today. His word got through to me by audio cd about a year ago. God bless you all. Special thanks also to Robert Smith who led me to Robert Rutherford and Bishop Swilley,(It is great to see Pastor D.E.again, he spoke life into me through TV a few years ago, great revelation today D.E.!) You all are truly lifting up the fact that He was lifted up, and if he is lifted up, he will make all men come to him. I pray that CHS falls in love with CITN and never leaves. You can not deny success and numbers, together you have both! God is Blessing.

Thanks, Bishop, for the reminder. Holy Spirt told me that the table prepared before me in the presence of my enemies is not just to show how God has blessed me, but to also feed my enemies. They need the true mana that God provides.

River said...

Why is it that when we think about the table before our enemies we think of people? Could the enemies be those negative things we face each and every day?
Food for thought.
