Be careful what you think. Words are energy and powerful so think wonderful positive thoughts and know that when you have done all, stand... That is all it takes and then it will show up. Right when you think it is all over you find it has been working to this place of restoration all along. All along! How cool is that?

IAWL Trivia: In 1946 this movie won no major Academy awards.

Twenty-seven years later, when the copyright was not renewed, TV stations noticed and started running it at Christmas.

No one has taken responsibility for the non-renewal but today it is a challenge to find someone, young or old who doesn't know every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings.

I pray this year, every time a bell rings, someone sees their face in George's living room crowd, and having brought their part to CITN, THEY get THEIR wings!

It is impossible to fail with friends, yes. They will never see you as a failure nor will they allow you to see yourself as one. And when you are friends with God...well that's all that needs to be said.

ok- I will respond- I wrote a check for tithe before I drove 200 miles round trip to be at CITN last week, to attend. I was a tiny bit peeved, when I heard the financial news, since I have most of my years tithe in, even if I do not attend but a few times per year.
The first thing I thought was, as a Presbyterian, we always voted on the budget. I remember staying after church as a kid for these meetings. As members voted on the budget, they naturally would have a vested interest in paying the budget. This is not faith. This is responsibly (love in action.)
I was also taught as a child in the Presbyterian Church, that it is each person’s responsibly to work, and earn their own living. This living (income)
Actually belongs to the Lord, (the cattle on a thousand hills) and 100% of any income must be spent with this in mind.
The tithe, as I understood as a child, was to support the pastors, the building fund, missions and local charity, as voted on by the session.
I sugget we have an announced business meeting with all members and at least look at the budget. Personally, I feel part of the problem is what some people call
“Magical Thinking.” Reality may be helpful. We are grown, we can take the truth.

Also/I really wish you could keep the streaming available in North Georgia.
I am is 95 miles from CITN, and unfortunately, I have visited many churches near me, and cannot find one that reflects the true nature of a loving God.
It just may be me, but I do not like to hear false whiteness against the truth, so I choose not to attend these places.

May God grant CITN wisdom at this
time. Let's stay focused on the solution, and we will find one.

have an incredible calling from God on your life and YOU have been designed for greatness by God! He sees your heart and hears your questions. Sometimes we get a little comfortable and God has to move us along the path He has outlined for us in the "Big Picture". I believe with all of my heart that you truly love God and desire to follow Him. has a special plan for your life. Remember that no matter what...God promises us that all things are working together for our good.
Love and Merry Christmas to you Debye and family

Thanks, everyone...

Thanks, Anon in N. Ga...we have the thing that you suggested every January (sometimes early February) when we have our Annual Business Meeting...our budget is approved by the bank, yearly, and is monitored by them regularly with the help of our CPA...for a church of our size, the budget is quite reasonable, if not modest...there's no mystery here, just been a lot of that "Magical Thinking" you mentioned...

This film in my opinion is the best ever made. Sometimes when things are going well I watch it anytime of the year.
