SUCCESS NOW!

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." (Joshua 1:8)

Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because the power of meditation in the Word of God, and the desire to be a doer of it, is enabling me to create success for myself. My attitude compels me to search for the good aspects in every situation until I find them, regardless of possible major elements of painful disappointment involved.

Today I will not succumb to any latent fear of success, or of the responsibility that it brings with it. I deserve to be rewarded for my honest, hard work, so I will give God the glory for my accomplishments, but I will enjoy the benefits of them for myself. I can do what I need to do to make it to the top, and what I can't do, He will do through me!

Today I will "make my way prosperous" by God's methods. The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it, so I will not serve mammon, nor will I give in to greed or covetousness. I will make it to the promised land of prosperity without compromise, my virtue and integrity intact.

Today I will surround myself with successful people. I will listen to their conversations, read their books, observe their lifestyles and attitudes, and I will receive inspiration from them for my own individual and unique journey. Success is a journey, not a destination.

Today I will go the distance, succeeding by simply refusing to quit. I will run until I get my second wind, but if it doesn't come, I will finish my race even if I have to crawl across the finish line on bloody hands and knees! The resurrection life of God in me will not permit me to give up – ever!

Today I will resist all temptation to believe that I am a failure in any way. I know that winning not only influences the quality of my life in the present, but it transforms my future attitudes as well. So, to build self-confidence and produce high morale, I will believe the best about myself today.

Today I will look beyond the current, natural circumstances of my life, and look to God as the ultimate example and source of all success. There is no failure, incompetence or inferiority in Him. Today I will think His thoughts and speak His words, and today I will live in the now!

Father, thank You for helping me to succeed today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
