"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
(Proverbs 15:1)
"Good sense makes a man restrain his anger,
and it is his glory to overlook a transgression or an offense."
(Proverbs 19:11 – AMP)
"By long forbearing and calmness of spirit a judge or ruler is persuaded,
and soft speech breaks down the most bonelike resistance."
(Proverbs 25:15 – AMP)
Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have the peace of God and am, therefore, at peace with my environment and in harmony with my peers.
Today I will manage my emotions – particularly my anger. I will learn what it means to be angry and sin not. I will be Christ-controlled, and wise in choosing my battles. I will be passionate and righteously indignant over things that merit it, but I will not give place to the devil – and I will not wrestle with flesh and blood!
Today I will avoid unnecessary stress in my life by learning to let things go, and knowing when to walk away from a situation. I will cast all of my care on Jesus, because He cares for me!
Today I will remember that where envy and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work (James 3:16) — and that God is not the Author of confusion (I Corinthians 14:33).
Today I will remember to take deep breaths . . . to relax . . . to laugh . . . to turn the other cheek when appropriate . . . to forgive . . . to not take life too seriously . . . to not let my enemies "get to me" . . . to keep everything in perspective . . . to not worry so much . . . to trust in God!
Today I will not be overcome with evil, but I will overcome evil with good! My proactive manner and "soft answers" will turn negative situations around for me today. My ways will please the Lord, and I will make even my enemies to be at peace with me.
Today I will remain calm by seeing the big picture and by keeping my eye on the prize. I will keep it real today, and today I will live in the now!
Father, help me stay cool today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

His mercies are new and fresh every morning as are our Choices. Each day We Must Choose...Blessings or Cursings, Life or Death, Wholeness or Brokenness, Victor or Victim...and whatever we Choose is what will fill our day.
What have you chosen in the past? What has filled your days? Have they been good or bad days? Happy or sad days? Have you chosen the good part? It's ok if you haven't...you've dealt with the consequences of those choices...but tomorrow is on its way and you can repeat the patterns of the past or choose a different kind of day today.
If you knew without a doubt that you could have the perfect day today simply by choosing to do so, would you? Would you release any anger, resentment, or past offenses in order to have that perfect day?
I have had days in which I said I wanted to have a good day, but then I sat in the same traffic (which didn't move for what seemed like hours), walked into the same office and seen the same coworkers (and let the same irritations and angry feelings arise), walked to the same desk (which the janitorial staff had not yet cleaned), seen the same Inbox (filled to overflowing because someone else forwarded their work to me), and sat in the same uncomfortable chair (with the broken wheel); and I immediately reverted back to the same bad attitude I'd had the day before...a day that was not good. Guess what? I had the same kind of rotten day I'd had before. Why should I have expected it to be any different? In order for that to happen...in order to have a good day...something would have to change--ME! I had to change. I had to let go of the things and feelings that did not help me to create a good day for myself. When I let go of the negative crap and emotions, when I changed my perspective and actions, I had a very good day!
At first it was sometimes difficult to keep focused and repel the thoughts and attitudes of anger, of doom, gloom, and rancor; but I kept working at it and eventually the positive perspective and laughter became the norm. Everything improved for me and I laughed more and began to smile all the time...so much so that people began to comment on my smile and my attitude and the improvement in my work. I was much more calm and relaxed, I did not worry when issues arose, and I stopped listening to or taking part in office gossip.
I ended up getting an unexpected promotion and being quite successful there. I look back on it very fondly. I decided to keep the laughter, the smile, and the positive attitude and through it all...I have been victorious.
Do you want to have better days? Do you want your job to seem more like fun? Choose it! I promise that you will find that your life will keep getting better and better, and when something happens that gives you pause, you will find that you can "bounce back" more quickly and come back even stronger than before.
Begin doing as Paul said, "think on these things..." the GR8 things in life...which is everything! Be calm, do not stir up anger or resentment, restrain yourself, take no offense at others over what is said or done, forbear all...as 1Corinthians 13 tells us that Love does...Bishop has been teaching us to do all these things and helping to remind us that these are not just emotions, situations, or circumstances; they are CHOICES.
Your new day of fresh mercy is here...your choices are before you. The birds are singing, the sound of the breaking day is rolling through the land. The day demands that you choose even if you do not think that you do, you will choose it one way or another, so don't be a passive participant in your choices, Be Active and CHOOSE! What will your day bring? The choice is absolutely yours...what will you Choose today?
Be COOL, Live in the NOW, and Choose Life, Joy, and Happiness Today!
Have a GREAT Day...Blessings Blog Fam!

love u bishop.....
This truth rings very loudly in my spirit this morning...I love the way Abraham-Hicks daily thoughts just cut right to the bottom line:
If you guide through anything other than your own example, it crosses over into the category of control. If you say, "This is what I've found that works for me, try it if you like." That's guidance. If you say, "This is what I've found works for me, and if you don't follow it, you're in trouble," that's control.

I needed that word Friday, Bishop. But, I am learning and overcoming. What Im not perfect???? Thank you.
Here's a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don't worry, be happy.
In every life we have some trouble
But when you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy.
Don't worry, be happy now.
(Chorus)
Don't worry, be happy. Don't worry, be happy.
Don't worry, be happy. Don't worry, be happy.
Ain't got no place to lay your head
Somebody came and took your bed
Don't worry, be happy.
The landlord say your rent is late
He may have to litigate
Don't worry, be happy.
(Chorus)
(Look at me -- I'm happy. Don't worry, be happy.
Here I give you my phone number. When you worry, call me,
I make you happy. Don't worry, be happy.)
Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style
Ain't got no gal to make you smile
Don't worry, be happy.
'Cause when you worry your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down
Don't worry, be happy.
(Chorus)
(Don't worry, don't worry, don't do it.
Be happy. Put a smile on your face.
Don't bring everybody down.
Don't worry. It will soon pass, whatever it is.
Don't worry, be happy.
I'm not worried, I'm happy...)

The vision of this house is being released in its fullness at this time - God has brought together a foundational group of like-minded individuals to bring forth the message of truth that is resident in us all...those who are not ready to stand in the solidarity that is required of this message are being scattered through many avenues and those that are already aware of the message are entering this community as their steps are ordered to stand solidly as the foundation of the transformation that will be unleashed through us... Bishop is the voice of the message but we are all the orchestrators of the message...FEEL our strength as we move forward out of our comfort zones into what we are called to do...
God has delivered to this place a group of God-natured individuals that "see" you Bishop, that "hear" you Bishop, that "get" you Bishop...you are no longer a "voice crying in the wilderness"...we will be heard...we will transform and heal our world one instant at a time through our collective efforts and desires to create this alternate reality...
Today's Daily OM is a total confirmation to Bishop's account Sunday about the roller coaster ride...
Letting the Curves Take You...
Control
When you resist what's at every turn, your whole being becomes tense and anxiety is your close companion.
Trying to maintain control in this life is a bit like trying to maintain control on a roller coaster. The ride has its own logic and is going to go its own way, regardless of how tightly you grip the bar. There is a thrill and a power in simply surrendering to the ride and fully feeling the ups and downs of it, letting the curves take you rather than fighting them. When you fight the ride, resisting what's happening at every turn, your whole being becomes tense and anxiety is your close companion. When you go with the ride, accepting what you cannot control, freedom and joy will inevitably arise.
As with so many seemingly simple things in life, it is not always easy to let go, even of the things we know we can't control. Most of us feel a great discomfort with the givens of this life, one of which is the fact that much of the time we have no control over what happens. Sometimes this awareness comes only when we have a stark encounter with this fact, and all our attempts to be in control are revealed to be unnecessary burdens. We can also cultivate this awareness in ourselves gently, by simply making surrender a daily practice. At the end of our meditation, we might bow, saying, "I surrender to this life." This simple mantra can be repeated as necessary throughout the day, when we find ourselves metaphorically gripping the safety bar.
We can give in to our fear and anxiety, or we can surrender to this great mystery with courage. When we see people on a roller coaster, we see that there are those with their faces tight with fear and then there are those that smile broadly, with their hands in the air, carried through the ride on a wave of freedom and joy. This powerful image reminds us that often the only control we have is choosing how we are going to respond to the ride.
