In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said these words:..."You have heard it said ________, but I say unto you _______...."
You can fill in the blanks in your own life...be open-minded to hear what is being said by Him to you NOW...man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that PROCEEDS (present tense) from the mouth of God...I like this quote about open-mindedness a lot (thanks, Melissa):
"Dogmatism breeds intolerance. Like ideology, dogmatism puts blinders on what its adherents can see, disables their questioning faculties and breeds fervor and fanaticism. Having an open mind doesn't mean that one never comes to any convictions in life. It's possible to have an open mind and live a principled life, without holding one's beliefs dogmatically. Having an open mind means being prepared to question even your most central beliefs if there's occasion to do so. It means being open, when the time comes, to having your mind changed by an argument better than one's own. It means being able to think both sides of an issue. It means being able to suspend your beliefs, to play devil's advocate, and to detach yourself somewhat from your own beliefs, actions and feelings. Only living with an open mind gives us a chance to grow and change."

Open minds...open eyes and ears...open hearts...transformation by the renewing of your mind..."the wind blows where it wills"...think on these things today...you have heard it "said", but I pray that you/I/we all hear what He is saying!

You're very welcome...and thank YOU again for encouraging "questioning", freedom, and vision...it is a breath of fresh air for those of us who refuse to be bound...
Am I just seemingly agreeable and without much thought if I just say "YES" to that? (I hope not, because I'm finding today I don't need to use so many words... in a lot of areas.)

You have heard it said that a day with God is like a thousand years - following this "God logic", then this time in this millennium would be the dawning of the third "day" following the crucifixion (the Holy instant when the flesh God hung on the tree of death and bore all our shame/separation) - the "day" we ALL "see" the resurrection of the risen Christ and cease to "see" ourselves as separate...
no wonder our vibrational energy is heightened and our awareness/shifting is proceeding at the speed of light...welcome back to the Garden of Eden/Tree of Life.

In light of Kim Clement's recent prophecy that CITN is becoming the largest and most influential church in the United States - we are progressing rapidly to Jim Earl Swilley (JES) + United States (US) as manifesting JESUS at a new level... I say that:
Church in the Now as it embraces the local community has evolved into Conyers in the Now which now embraces our local country has evolved into Country in the Now that is evolving into embracing the entire earth and manifesting a global CHRIST in the Now and the JESUS that is evolving as the full corn in the ear (there is corn in Egypt) is the embodiment of this true interpretation of Christ...
Our voice/message will be heard globally...believe it as you begin to see it...
Amen Anon @ 8:48! Powerful word and I hear, see & agree! The world is coming...beating a path to The Door...to CITN where Christ is ALL IN ALL! We are the world...the world is US...even now they come. They come because they hear the sound and because He is drawing them to Himself. They come to hear the Truth...to see the Light...to experience the Love that is The Body of CITN. Hallelujah!

I just like to listen to what the Lord prompts me in my spirit man and try to be obedient to what He says. Not easy sometimes..."doing it with fear." as Bishop sometimes states. One thing I do detest is "arguments". I do not like to argue, I guess because I grew up with a couple of parents who made that their main focus...If someone wants to argue sometimes, my conversation will be cut short, not because I don't care about you, but arguments get "me nowhere" because my system shuts down emotionally. In fact, I often state "I will not argue with you." Life is too short.
