Walk In The Light

From today's AYITN:

STREET LIGHTS!

But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer)
until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day . . . ."
(Proverbs 4:18 – AMP)

Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I know that I have a personal path to pursue – a lifelong, spiritual journey of Christ-revelation and self-discovery – that is growing brighter and clearer every day!

Today I will trust the Word of God to be a lamp for my faith-following feet (I walk by faith, and not by sight!), and a light for my purpose-paved path (I was predestined to be conformed to His image, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren!).

Today I will remember that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord searching the hidden rooms of the heart, so I will walk by the light of my recreated spirit, under the authority of the Lordship of Jesus, eternally crowned in the Kingdom of my heart, to reveal the internal dreams, visions, and prophetic revelations that have not yet been brought to light! The light will reveal the next part of the path that lies ahead. Turn up the lights! Let the adventure begin!

Today I will not be disoriented. I will pray. I will decree. I will worship. I will confess the Scriptures. I will be quiet before the Lord. I will meditate His Word . . . until I get my bearings . . . until I am centered in the center of His perfect will . . . until I find the flow where God makes a way in the wilderness and a stream in the desert!

Today I will walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).

Today I will seek wisdom and confirmation from those who are pursuing their own paths, but I will not judge them for their position or place on their path by my own, personal standard. My path is my path. My brother's path is my brother's path.

Today my steps will be ordered of the Lord — no accidents — no mistakes — no bad timing — no running ahead of God — no lagging behind God. Today I will run with the vision, and today I will live in the now!

Father, light my path today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The picture of the canyon makes me think of the crevaces in our brain, and streams in that wilderness...the flow of the water of visions, revelation and dreams.

...if that road shoud take a turn to the right,
you know everything is gonna be alright...

Thanks for the new post today bish.

This says to me that every day the sun rises is "the perfect day!" I will live in the NOW...the Perfect Day of the Lord!

Faith-following feet...nice alliteration...and there's that walk-by-faith thing again...

I watched Final Witness tonight (a crime story). Not really sure why I did, but it happened to include a comment about faith saying (my paraphrase) "it's not a walk of faith when things are going well. It's in situations where you cannot see Him and decide to find Him." Funny place to find one more facet of the walk...and yet, there it was.

"the firstborn of many brethren"... ignoring the scariness of the word "might", I've always liked this simple description of who Jesus is to us...a sibling. It makes Him so touchable. It makes it not irreverent to connect His name with "just"...just a wiser brother who showed us it could be done...walk in the light...light the path for those who come after...find our own destiny...remember who we are...who I AM...who I was in the beginning...predestined to be conformed to His version of nonconformity..."brighter and clearer every day". Cool.

"Light my path"..."turn up the lights!"...help me see...especially when I need big bright, maybe even flashing arrows Lord? Thanks!

Sight is the ability to see the physical world while vision is the gift of seeing beyond it.

Revelation to me is a direct download from my Creator - a direct connect to my Source...The only person he wants to talk to ME about is ME...
The only revelation I require today is God's revealing OF me TO me.
Enjoy your journey today!

The more I walk in the Light and I walk to the Light my path becomes lightened and I am enlightened. The darkness within me that cast the shadow is increasingly driven away by the Light that shines upon me and finds residence in me. And so I walk until the Perfect Day when I will be like Him and I shall know as I am known and I shall see clearly like never before face to face with the Sun of Righteousness.

nice post. i did something pretty fun this morning and I wanted to share with the community... If you have the time write a list of what you want and start with the two words "to be." Once you have finished the list start a second list of what you are and start with the two words "I am." On this second list simply copy whatever you previously wrote. This works best if you use one word adjectives on your first list. I enjoyed it..
Have a great day
