Be Whole!

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
(1 Thessalonians 5:23)

Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I am moving from just being healed, to being made whole! God's restoration process doesn't just bring me back to where I was before – it always brings me to a better place than where I was before I needed the restoration.
Today I will accept the wholeness of my spirit, because the Last Adam has made me a new creation in Him. He was condemned to justify me; He was made sin so that I could become His righteousness!
Today I will believe for the wholeness of my soul, because I am being transformed by the renewing of my mind and I have no sense of rejection. He went to the grave so that I could be resurrected . . . He was cast out of the presence of God so that I could be welcomed there!
Today I will have faith for the wholeness of my body, because by His stripes I am healed. He was made sick, to make me well; He was made a curse so that I could be blessed!

Today I will move toward being completely restored from the fragmented self-image that has been damaged by heart-break and rejection, and from the arrested development that I have experienced because of the dysfunction of my past surroundings and influences. The power of God is stronger than all the hurt and pain in my life, and He is able to turn the tide of destruction into a river of life for me!
Today I will not be distracted or double-minded. My faith is focused.
Today I will enjoy healthy relationships because I know that I am complete in Him. I can love and give unselfishly . . . without co-dependence . . . without dysfunction. God has supplied all of my needs, so I do not have to have unrealistic expectations of others. Today I will seek first the whole Kingdom of God, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to walk in wholeness today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

From today's A Year In The Now reading...remember, I'll be signing copies of the new edition after the upcoming Sunday service...

One more thing, after church tonight (I've got a great word for you) we're flying back up to Washington for a meeting on Thursday morning, and from there we're flying to Buffalo for the I.C.C.C. meeting, where we'll be until Saturday night. I don't know what my computer situation is going to be like for the next few days, so in the event that I'm not able to post an article, just continue to comment under this one. But if I can publish something, I definitely will. Peace!

Good Morning Bishop,
Brothers and sisters!

Today I will move toward being completely restored from the fragmented self-image that has been damaged by heart-break and rejection, and from the arrest development of my experienced because of the dysfunction of my past surroundings and influences. The power of God is stronger than all the hurt and pain in my life, and is able to turn the tide of destruction into a river of life for me!

Today I will enjoy healthy relationship because I know that I am complete in Him. I can love and give unselfishly…without co-dependence…without dysfunction. God has supplied all my needs, so I do not have to have unrealistic expectation of others. Today I will seek first (always) the whole Kingdom of God, and today I will live in the now!

Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:14 NKJV)

How content am I with what each day brings?
I am content with what each day brings, because I am rejoicing in my God, because He delivered me. He is the One who has brought me here. His way is discernable to the eyes of faith. God’s heart is truly my strong tower. In His affection I have security. In His love are my hope and my peace.

I am His treasure. He delights in me, when I am fully yield in Him, with no thoughts of my own or my personal ambition or achievement. When I wish for anything, I wish for more of His nearness. When I long after anything, I long after more of His righteousness. And more of His love.

Am I whole, Humble, and Simple?

Yes I Am! Because I am a branch in the Vine; Jesus Christ is my true Vine, and because I abide in Him. Because I seek Him first. I am a partaker of all HEAVEN’S SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS.

Alleluia I Am WHOLE!
May God Bless You All,

Made Whole! Spirit, Mind and Body!! Restore me to a better place. Accepting the wholeness is the key, even when we do not feel it or see it. Just be made whole. Thank You Lord for the sacrifice that you made so that I(WE) can be welcomed in God's Presence. Oh, the Glory of your Presence, we your People give you Reverence. What a blessing that wholeness is attainable through the sacrifice the Jesus Christ made.

Thank you Bishop and I pray the you and Pastor Debye have a safe trip to Washington-New York and then back to Atlanta. I speak supernatural, God-Given Favor everywhere your feet touch the ground.

Good Morning,

I must say that "Year In The Now" is a wonderful beautiful book. It speaks to me everyday I read it. It is almost like it was written just for me.

I love the first reading on today's page. I am living in the now. I am being healed and being made whole. I am not living in the past, the regrets, the hurt, the pain, the blame, the sadness. I am seeing with a new set eyes and spirit.
It is amazing when I am talking with people, it could be serious or just what ever. What comes from my spirit is coming out my mouth. I am conscience of what I am saying. I am wanting to be heard and I can’t be heard if I am talking with fear, hate and anger. I see my friends, co worker and family for who they are. I am accept them for who and where they are in the now.
I am walking straight forward with curves in the road. I know in my heart what comes my way, God is right by my side. He is helping me be me, the best is coming out. It is a joyful thing to experience, to feel and see.
When I live in Now and not the past, I can grow. When I live in the past I am not living in the now. I can’t see what is in front of me, I hear nothing and feel no joy, love and happiness.

I MAKE THE CHOICE TO LIVE IN THE NOW!

I want to feel. I want to live! I want to see all the beauty in nature and in my family, friends, everyone.

Have an insightful trip and know I will be praying for you and Pastor Debye.

School has started back for me and I am loaded down with homework but I wanted to stop in and say, "Hi and I miss you guys!" Keep praying I don't completely cave under the homework and pressure to get my attendance in, keep on working, keep on getting the work done around the house and finally that this bronchitis is cast out of this body. I am holding onto every word of today's YITN. I bought the new version again - I keep giving them away so I have had some of every version. I am leaving this one at home so I will actually hang onto it for awhile but if God tells me to give it away, I will. I know that if He tells me to give it away, that person REALLY needs it - LOL!

Seriously, though what an amazing place we live where we are free to be who were are without fear of reprisal. I was talking to someone at work who knew someone working overseas and how hard it was because first off, the person is a female. She is not allowed to drive, she is not allowed to have any skin showing, she can't drink, she can't go alot of places unescorted, and so on. It made me so grateful to be living here in the USA. We have to remember what we are fighting for and I think the liberal media allows us to forget that most of the time. I know Bush has made some misjudments but would you want to be in his shoes? People criticizing every move he makes. Personally, I would hurt people.

I am so excited about all the cool stuff happening with you, Bishop and Pastor Debye. You are getting amazing exposure! And as we all knew it would be - it is in unconventional, out of the ordinary, atypical, non-traditional ways. I love how God suspends the natural just so He can show off. The arena's that you are participating in reminds me of places Jesus would be - outside of the four walls of the church. Of course, He didn't have CITN to go to back then either or He might have spent more time in church - LOL!

See your teenagers tonight!!
XXXOOO to you all! Have an amazing, fantastically, terrifically blessed and highly favored day!

Ok. You know when you wake up in the morning, or even in that "between awake" state at night when you toss and turn, and you have a song in your head? Well, mine last night, this morning, and while I was in the shower HAS NOT GOTTEN OUT! I had downloaded it last night to my own playlist, but "the needle has stuck" on...

"525,600 minutes"... from Seasons of Love/RENT. Here's the crazy part. I get downstairs, I'm unlocking the door for the dog, stop long enough to hit my space bar, refresh BITN, and HELLOOOOO, what song from this playlist starts? I heard those first few notes and stood here in amazement. That little thing is confirmation... I was talking to my Mr. Wonderful about what I will be saying at my brother's memorial service and was telling him that this song was inspiring me as to what I want to say...God is so good.

Working on this "Being Whole" thing...restoration... and knowing that there is no fear in LOVE.

I'm with you, Holly, about accepting the wholeness when we don't feel it, see it... and (4 me) in our own minds, think that we could even possibly deserve it.

Alright, off to some destiny fulfillment...

Have a safe and anointed trip Bishop and Pastor Debye!

Shout out to all of my blog peeps.
Life has been soooo busy...no whining, it's all good! I love todays devotional and the pics are awesome! I even recorded todays word into my little hand held recorder so that i can listen to it throughout the day! I love the pics of Sofias birthday party! I love being a Grandparent, Bishop you and Pastor Debye look eternally great! I especially love the part about God turning the tide of destruction into a river of life for me...I claim that for me today! One of meanings of my name means Powerful River and although I have felt like a stagnet river, I know that is changing!!Oh, Izm/joy..One of the first names for Boston was taken from an Indian name (SHAWMUT)which first was beleived to mean ("Long still water")when i was researching this, i was like great God, I already know how stagnet i have been. Spirit then counseled me to research deeper on the name, sooo.. Boston was later interpeted to mean "Fountain of living waters"
"Land unclaimed" "Free country"...Boston is also strongly connected to the energies of the following words (Higher learning, Above, better, chosen,eminet,excellent,greater,highest,major,marked,outstanding,rare,upper..Winthrop also beleived that God had made a special covenant with Boston and that Boston was set as " A city upon a hill"...also the rock band Boston was originally called "Mothers Milk" which really blew me away because I have been pondering starting a womens outreach..in the theme of encourageing women to love and nurture themselves! Not only that I had a dream of a real pretty cow (imagine that) and above was the caption " Dreams really do come true" now, although i do not think i look like a cow (although i am from Wisconsin, cow country) My older sister always told me I had eyes like elsie the cow (borden milk) what are older sisters for! So God always gives me little funny winks like that..So Izm/joy..God put boston in my dream and caused the word boston to stand out so that I would do the research and his awesome, fun way of confirming his will would be known to me!

Good Morning Bishop and blog family

Loved the pics and YITN.

Bishop, I had a dream about you and Pastor Debye last night/early morning. You had went hunting/fishing and you brought back this giant grizzly bear. You didn't shoot it you brought it back tamed and some little girls were feeding it and playing with it. then we were all in this huge auditorium and it was full of people from all over and you were speaking. I don't know what it means but it has stuck with me all morning.

Love you all,
go to D.C. and NYC and do that thang you do :0)

Loved the message from AYITN this morning. I got this in an email and liked how it went along with todays message.

The Station”
By
Robert J. Hastings

Tucked away in our subconscious minds is an idyllic vision in which we see ourselves on a long journey that spans an entire continent. We’re traveling by train, and from the windows, we drink in the passing scenes of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at crossings, of cattle grazing in distant pastures, of smoke pouring from power plants, of row upon row of cotton and corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of city skylines and village halls.
But uppermost in our minds is our final destination – for at a certain hour and on a given day, our train will finally pull into the station with bells ringing, flags waving and bands playing. And once that day comes, so many wonderful dreams will come true. So restlessly, we pace the aisles and count the miles, peering ahead, waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.
“Yes, when we reach the station, that will be it!” we promise ourselves. “When we’re 18 … win that promotion … put the last kid through college … buy that 450 SL Mercedes-Benz … pay off the mortgage … have a nest egg for retirement.”
From that day on, we will all live happily ever after.
Sooner or later, however, we must realize there is no station in this life, no one earthly place to arrive at once and for all. The journey is the joy. The station is an illusion – it constantly outdistances us. Yesterday’s a memory; tomorrow’s a dream. Yesterday belongs to history; tomorrow belongs to God. Yesterday’s a fading sunset; tomorrow’s a faint sunrise. Only today is there light enough to love and live.
So, gently close the door on yesterday and throw the key away. It isn’t the burdens of today that drive men mad, but rather the regret over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow.
“Relish the moment” is a good motto, especially when coupled with Psalm 118:24: “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead, swim more rivers, climb more mountains, kiss more babies, count more stars. Laugh more and cry less. Go barefoot more often. Eat more ice cream. Ride more merry-go-rounds. Watch more sunsets. Life must be lived as we go along.

peace and blessings!

As I sit here and opened BITN Oh the Glory of Your Presence / Terry MacAlmon is playing and as I look at the beautiful inspiring pictures; for a few moments I have left this natural realm and entered a world where there is no sickness, no pain, no sorrow, or regret. My Heavenly Father Has prepared this place for me this morning. As I sit here in amazement the peace is overwhelming. I hear God whisper in my ear; “yes this is OUR PLACE and this is NOW”. I don’t know if anyone else understands this but I completely understand Father though I cannot completely explain it. Thank You Father.

I set the first picture as my desktop background.

Christy….”I love how God suspends the natural just so He can show off.”
Yes that’s what I am experiencing…..

Bishop,
man you are as hard to keep up with as a bee………as it POLLINATES the world around it so that the plants will be able to produce SEED and FRUIT for trees to SHADE and for a HABITATION for other life forms, to produce BEAUTY and FOOD for sustaining LIFE ON THE PLANET.

That was weird it just came to me as I was typing!

Jehovah Shalom: Peace that comes from being whole, nothing missing, nothing broken.

Tried to take a "me" day yesterday. Counted blessings but ended the day still pushing.

New birth happening?
I don't know.
All I know is it helps a lot to come here. (amen, Dennis)

btw--beautiful posts yesterday on the Sofia pics, y'ALL!

The power in the messages of your picture choices--every day--Bishop, is sometimes too much. Lots of "stuff" being stirred up.

God's got me by the heel, though--so I won't roll off. Peace. Be still.

Being made whole.

Awesome, knowing the very same afflictions He suffered had a higher purpose - for the rest of us. What a blessing to perceive self through His eyes.

* Ronnie Lee, if you haven't visited yet, I hope you get to Boston. Everything you noted (as energies relating to the city), was certainly applicable to our trip. Had to laugh about the word, "marked". Mark was our tour guide's name!

Bishop, good afternoon!

These pictures are great, and some make you gasp and hold your breath.
I consider this type of holding one's breath even more top story than David Blaine's record-breaking breath-holding today of 17 min. 4 sec.!

There is more FIRE and true star power HERE than on Hollywood and Vine! Amen?

Thoughts from pictures/words;
Our wounds are not as tender anymore and God's restoration is better than before! Healing light!, and there is a light at the end of every wilderness tunnel.

New creation-light shining in darkness...renewed mind, resurrection...being welcomed by God our Father. He makes us well, and it is well/whole with my soul.

I loved the words "the power of God is stronger than all the hurt and pain in my life". I am complete in Him, and to seek first the kingdom of God (all of it)"
I add my agreement that we all as one body/one whole, walk in wholeness today.

Reminder again to all tha our busy bee (Bishop-taken from dennis' comment), will go to Washington, and then in Buffalo 'til Sat.night.
Keep sending comments!

Also Global Peace Fest Aug.9
Congratulations to Sofia! 1yr old.

anna- yes, glory to God in the highest heavens, and peace...

kettly- ...there are few who find it, yes, more of His nearness, righteousness, and love! Keep abiding, keep seeking, PARTAKE!
...and he was made whole that hour.

holly- Be made whole, you are well! Live whole, love whole, Laugh whole!

michelle- God is by your side and will never leave you...may all fear, anger and hate dissipate into the past because with new eyes you see the joy, love and happiness in front of you. Live in the now!

christy- your homework may feel like a speeding train that you can't stop. I'm in agreement for your leaping over it!
...all men will give back to you, pressed down shaken together and overflowing gifts into your lap!
Yes, and as we live in freedom and the American Way we need to remember to help and pray for the oppressed that they can mount up on EAGLES WINGS!

g8trgrl- No fear in LOVE. Jesus prayed that we all be ONE(whole). Think of a pie, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, 3 slices but ONE. We are now ONE in Him, part of the WHOLE PIE and WHOLE. Like one body, one pie. Even in division 1 over 1 is still ONE. One Lord, over me, covered, I'm in Him, ONE. We are part of the recipe, like it or not.

ronnielee-
River of life (Powerful river-flows)-Holy Spirit insight upon you today, wow!
Yes, let us claim our land of freedom, that fountain of living waters!...that "Boston", and be a city on a hill!
The band Boston said "Don't look back, a new day is breaking, it's been so long since I felt this way"
...I see beyond the road I'm driving"
keep writing those dreams, God speaks to us in the night, and pray for intepretation in case they are significant. Share them, someone may have insight on a little piece of it!
Also, just found out that dark chocolate is great for women who are pregnant, and some kind of protection against (preeclamsia??) of child.

anonymous- focused faith, wholeness is in sight, recieve evidences of it!

Linda-
cool dream of the bear! Have no idea of significance, but maybe someone does, including you. God can reveal it, if needed.
maybe the bear is religion/division, RUSSIA?... kingdom of God like a child, not like a bear?

Loved all the posts today! Bishop-the difficult part for me lately is being content in my discontentedness! God has been visiting places in me of hurts, pain & fracture only to then start the healing, remolding, reshaping process to bring wholeness. My discontent is to be found lacking, my contentedness comes from knowing that my Father is on my side through it all and is in it all, encouraging, correcting, directing, pulling me ever upward out of the clay and pouring more new wine in to replace the old.
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not fear what this day shall bring, I shall expect the revelation of my Father's hand at just the right moment to save me. I shall expect to be shown another sheep that needs my help at the same time I am in my struggles and together we shall rise, together we shall lift each other's burdens, together we shall climb back to the palace where our Father dwells. This day my Father places His robe of right-standing with Him upon me afresh and says "Go get 'em"! This day I look to the sidelines and see my Coach nod His approval and know that all is well.

Love to all,

Larry

I really enjoyed the pictures! Some of them make me think of interesting album covers of the 70's and 80' like the band Asia or something.

I'm still trying to grasp the concept of universal reconciliation but if Christ died for all, then, we are ALL made well or WHOLE, too...we just don't KNOW that we're made WHOLE? Is it a matter of perception/knowledge/entering the kingdom??...just thinking here.

These words of yours can be a great answer to anyone with this question (in a song by Boston)of wholeness, maybe, part of it goes like this;
You look up at me, and somewhere in your mind you see
A man I'll never be
If only I could find a way
I'd feel like I'm the man you believe I am
And it gets harder every day for me
To hide behind this dream you see
A man I'll never be

In Christ, I guess we can say, I am what I am, "whatever!"

I'm grateful that we have a place to hear one another's news instead of the mainstream words of division and destruction. Sometimes its a struggle not to whine, but I will seek to do my part in helping this area to be a
NO WHINING ZONE!

Love you guys! Be safe in D.C., God's angels watch over you, and may refreshing water flow from both of your lips out through the doors and down capitol steps!

Thank you Bishop for your blog. Good afternoon Blog Family.

YITN word is much needed today. There is a lot going on in my family. My father is still hanging in there, but is ready to go home. My son will be going to stand before a juvenile judge soon for unruly behavior, most likely will have to spend a few days in Juvi-jail But through it all I am strong. I am in a good spot. My joy is full. I am in the fire. I can’t wait to see what happens when I come out on the other side. It’s got to be good, because the heat is very intense right now. But thank God for this family. Even though I haven’t been able to post much lately, I am still here. I love you all so much.

Something that struck me on the YITN today is the part about healing. I have been pondering healing for sometime now. Not so much as being healed, but to “BE” healing, it is not something that we have to work up to have the healing manifested. We just are. As we move in Christ, and He moves through us we ARE everything that He ever was, and is. He is healing. He is joy. He is mercy. He is love. He is peace. He is more than enough….The list goes on…. So in return because He is in us, than we are healing. We are joy. We are mercy. We are love. We are peace. We are more than enough... Everything that He is we ARE… We have it all. So when we have a need… we just BE what we need. I don’t know if it makes since. But it is a powerful concept if we can just tap into it. I don’t have it yet. But I am getting there.

Got to go now…

Love you all
Standing strong…
Iris.

Iris I’m sorry to hear about your son. As a word of encouragement, my son is without a doubt the best son a man could ever have. But it hasn’t always been that way. When he was little, I could do no wrong. Somewhere down the line that changed and let’s just say that he didn’t fully embrace my teachings.
He got to the point where he would mouth off at his mom which sort of drew me into the situation. I told him that if he didn’t respect his mother any more than to talk to her like that then feel free to talk to her just any way he wanted to, but that if he ever talked like that to my wife again that I would beat the dog "something" out of him.
Out of respect for him I won’t divulge all that he had to go through, except that there was a time that his mom and I didn’t have to wonder where he was at night. But we didn’t give up on him and he got through that rough time and is kicking butt at Mississippi State now and will probably end up being one of the greatest civil engineers the world has ever known.

Somehow from tonight's message I got that we settle for less than we should or that we set our sights too low. At least that's how it spoke to me.
That perception of the message confirms what the Holy Spirit spoke to me today at work. Someone asked me how I was doing and as is my habit I responded, "If it was any better, I couldn't stand it."
I have always considered that response to be super positive.
But today when I said it, it was like I heard the Spirit saying, "Well if that's as good as you can stand it, that's as good as it's going to get because We don't want to give you more than you are capable of handling."
At that point I realized that by my so-called positive words I have actually been requesting that the blessings not get any more intense.
At that point I promised myself that I would NEVER respond like that again. From now on it will be something akin to, "I'm doing great and it's getting better all the time."
I've had a pretty good life so far, but there is an excitement inside of me that I have NEVER felt before. Man's it's great to be young!

Iris, I feel ya, I have had VERY SIMILAR circumstances with my children. You have the right attitude about it all. God is always working for all our good. We can trust Him with our children even when He has to take them to the wood shed; when they are too big to turn over our knee.

Remember when Daniel and his freinds were thrown in the fire the only thing that was burned was the ropes that had them bound!!!

Peace,
Dennis

I can love and give unselfishly . . . without co-dependence . . . without dysfunction. God has supplied all of my needs, so I do not have to have unrealistic expectations of others. Today I will seek first the whole Kingdom of God, and today I will live in the now!

I plan on purchasing my YITN this Sunday Bishop! Definetly on my list for graduation gifts too!

I have great peace knowing that I look only to God. Knowing that everyone has to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling, sets me free! Thanks be to God for supplying all my needs according to his riches in glory!
I'll be praying for you and Pastor Debye ...blessed when you go out and blessed when you come in

linda (and Bishop/Pastor Debye), if I may comment on your dream....you were possibly shown a glimpse of Bishop's global destiny to not only speak to nations and generations, but to also be a peacemaker and catalyst for unprecedented acts of generosity and compassion that will break yokes of violence, hatred and misunderstanding in ways that seem, to diplomats, impossible. As Bishop and Debye (and others) walk the walk, there will be no accommodations for fear, doubt or confusion.

Now, I can go to bed, per chance to dream....

Dear Bishop:
I have had the opportunity to be at CITN for the last two months and I am really enjoying myself. I am healing more and more every week. Tonite I arrived late at the bible study after dropping the children at children's church. I just didn't want to miss hearing what the Lord wanted to say. As you were ending the Lord directed to write. I waanted to share with you what the Lord gave me to write. The Lord said...We are about to flow in the spirit like never before, we are about to be translated by the spirit, we are about to travel by warp speed, we are about to travel supernaturally. To Bishop the Lord says... Your body will not get tired, you wil have the ability to take long trips and your body will not tire. You will be able to do things supernaturally through the mighty power of God. There is a mighty rushing wind coming forth in this place, we are in the upper room and we are about to be overtaken by the Holy Spirit like never bofore, there shall be supernatural signs and wonders, there will be supernatural manifestations like never before unusal manifestations by my spirit will fill this place. I the Lord God shall overtake this place in a mighty way. My spirit will even touch the children in a mighty way reports, reports, will come from the children's ministry of God manifesting himself with the children. Don't be dismayed, or surprised, expect, expect, watch out! I'm coming in a mighty way! Thus saith the Lord!
I will be praying for you while you travel

Thank you Donald and Dennis... Thank you for the prayers and encouragement...

God is good, and I am strong... I know that my son will get it...

There were several things that were said in the service tonight that jumped into my Spirit... One of them was... "Get out of the way so the Holy Spirit can move"...

The Holy Spirit is moving... and if this is what it takes to wake up my son... Than Holy Spirit I am getting out of the way so you can move...

Thank you once again...

Thank you mayam for your interpretation of my dream. I bear witness with that

Iris: praying for your son

Bishop and Pastor Debye, I know that this meeting is going to be great for you!! Do what you do!! Can't wait to hear about it

Donald, I totally get what you were saying about being so blessed you cant stand anymore. The HG has been dealing with me about my words too. I want whatever God has planned for me, and I don't want to abort the blessing with the words of my mouth just for the sake of being "cute".
Peace
Love you all

Creme B you are a trip! Well spoken !Iris we also have your back for your son. My brother's recent"incarceration experience" was the best thing that could have happened for him and may have just saved his life. Donald- got what you said too about limiting God. David and I were just saying everytime we say we are sick of going through "this" He can't take us to "that" and many other conversations we have been having with ourselves and each other that could possibly be limiting God's ability to work supernaturally in our lives. It's like if He hears us so natural and glib that's all He has to work with-because it has to come from within. I bet Peacemaker has something awesome to say on this subject?! To everyone else not mentioned Have A God's Best Day Today! PS Bishop and Pastor Debye- Go work that Holy Ghost magic!

Good Morning Holy Spirit,
Thank you for being here for us all this morning. I pray your presents would manifest in a noticeable powerful way within and all around us today. I thank you that you anoint us to carry out the task before us today, with blessings following. Thank you for the strength and comfort we receive from your presents. Thank you that we can know that you will always be right by our side no matter what. And that you prepare a table before us in the presents of our enemies and sit beside us at the table and enjoy fellowship with us. Others will see you working in our lives and our fellowship and be drawn to you and the Love of God in Christ Jesus; as you show Jesus the Christ to the world through us.
I pray for a special anointing on our Bishop and Pastor Debye in all they are about to do and everywhere they go. Give them grace and favor with all they come in contact and in every situation they pass through.
Thank you Holy Spirit for being our comforter, companion, helper, and friend, in Christ Jesus name amen.

Peace Today,
Dennis

Creme Bruille I couldnt agree with you more. This is GODS house, our house, it is our responsibility to support it. I like the idea of making a committment on an amount and doing that,I mean i tithe and all that, but to have a goal of a amount to contibute over that is a great idea. Thanks. Mamon is here to serve me and I am here to serve at CITN. Everybody step up....We cant not give because times are hard,we have to give because they are. That is how we live seperate from the world system. I dont know about you, but, I dont want to be a part of the negative world economy. I dont care how high gas goes, GOD KNOWS I NEED GAS, I rest in that.

Donald that made me think of how Jesus said that the kingdom of God is “within us” and the kingdom of God rules over all things. All things are Gods’ the world and all that is in it. Therefore YES all that we are looking for or will ever need is “within us”

Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours, and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.
(1Co 3:21-23 WEB)

For however many are the promises of God, in him is the "Yes." Therefore also through him is the "Amen," to the glory of God through us.

Blessings within today,

Good Morning All!!

Didn't have a moment to comment yesterday, but what a word in season for me. I have not been feeling whole, but more "holey" these last few days, as things have been seemingly been torn out of my world. i know that the purification process is not an easy one and sometimes it's hard not to be discouraged. Thank God for that daily word from AYITn, and the very uplifting words I receive from this BITN family as well. I know that He is bigger than any problem I may face, and He fills the holes that are there better than anything or any one else ever can!!!

So I set my face like a flint...

Prayers for you and P. Debye, Bish, on this 2-stage trip we know that you will be incredibly annointed in every thing you do and say...

Don't forget the Beef-on-Weck...

Head, not tail!
Above only, not beneath!
More than a conquerer!

Me, and you all too,

Much love...

AMEN Creme Brulee!!!!! That not only made me laugh....but was truly a word spoken. How can OUR Bishop and Pastor Debye get celebrated more by strangers? Come on ya'll......I realize everybody needs prayer and of course Bish already knows about the head/tail thing....he taught us that. Let's step up the game. Gas Smas...we all need it and its high....it shall be done. Together with all of us on the same page there is nothing that is impossible. Gooooo Creme Brulee...lets get a rally started and take the negative vibe going on in the economy and make a mockery of it by extended ourselves and walking on water. Ever heard the phrase crazy praise?!?!?!?I KNOW YA'LL HAVE :) What do you really believe when you pray? Do you believe you receive? Do you really????? If not and you keep praying the same prayer, check yourself cause it works! love to all, we as a people need to stand together shoulder to shoulder and PUSH.
Bish, please run for president in 4 years. :) You could so rock the house....the White House! Imagine the possibilities of a power couple like Bish and Debye running things. WOW! Imagine our possibilities if we all stand together, we have the POWER COUPLE ROCKING THE HOUSE NOW.
Peacexo-

Fanman87... your being "holey" instead of "whole"... I feel you, and the image I get is of a dam or a fjord. As we spring those leaks, which, if not fixed turns into cracks, which erodes to a full on deluge of water... that is wasted away. He's not the "Holey" Spirit, but the Holy spirit, who wholly makes us whole! The Holy Spirit is there, spackling up the holes, so that the water of the word that is building up can flow over us like a beautiful waterfall. "You let me do the work, and enjoy the cleanse!"

Anyways, I know He is having to get the orange apron AND the tool belt for me and mine these days...

From Pamela H,
Bishop what is happening to you is happening to me - the Holy Spirit is simply pouring in me as well as you. I really believe my destiny is coming about - something I have been waiting for all of my life. I can hardly stop from speaking in tongues - I am full now but I cannot wait until Sunday for I want more of Him. The gate is wide open.

Last night your message, wow! - the Holy Spirit brought me to repentance when I was 13 but I did not know Him - He was the one that actually testified of Jesus and now I know. Now I feel so saturated with the Holy Spirit it is beyond words. Oh my! Bishop I can hardly wait to hear what you have to say on Sunday. Thank you so much!!!

Tracy…

I don’t think we can’t progress(notice I said, progress) on to “ that” until we live out “this”; whatever “this” is. We needn’t look too far down the road because what we think were seeing may not be what is actually there. It’s human nature to think “that” has to be better than “this”. But remember, human nature is our second nature. We KNOW by our first nature. No matter what our circumstances, we have to stay Present. All of our experiences happen in the Now. How we react to “this” in our Now will determine how “that” will turn out.
We really can’t even look any farther than the Now will allow us because the Now is our only portal to the future and when we get there, guess where we are then: right smack in the Now.
I truly believe everything we experience in life, whether perceived “good or bad” plays an integral part in our spiritual evolution and our progression in the natural realm. Everything happening (and there’s a lot happening) in our Now can and will serve us and ultimately, all those who are in our lives’ greater good.
If we think that way, it’s impossible to limit God at all because we really are living out all things working together for our good…

But we still need to refrain from conversation counter to our progression and even watch what we think about because the Universe responds to the energy of our thoughts and those thoughts become things. It’s true. God set up that way.

“Doing alright, getting good grades, the futures’ so bright…we gotta wear shades”

Peace Now,

PM

Here's a little thought on that subject. Nothing to deep. It's really from Erma Bombeck, if anyone here remembers her.

When you start worrying about why you can't have THAT, remember that the grass is always greener... over the septic tank.

And that's usually because it's over top of... you know. That Erma had a funny way of looking at things. LOL.

Better to work hard to make your own grass greener.(go thru this to get to that...)

Makes the THAT that much better.

Good evening NOW Bloggers,

I was reading today in one of my devotionals called "God is Enough"
Hannah Whitall Smith was a great writer and theologian in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Her writings have been greatly respected by most all of the Christian world. It is sad that the publishers of her works have took it upon themselves to edit out (since she is not alive to speak for herself)the chapters of her books that speak of her finding the wonderful truth of Universal Reconciliation in her later years; although there are still some remaining “original” copies out around. I really liked todays. Must have been a word from the Lord for me because if tied right into what I had said to Donald earlier. God is so Good to speak so personaly with us, Here is what she wrote:

LOVING MEANS RECIEVING

The secret of the Christian life is revealed in the child/father relationship. Nothing more is needed than to believe that God is as good a father as the best ideal earthly father, and that the relationship of a Christian to Him is just the same as that of a child to his parent in this world. A child does not need to carry about in his own pocket the money for his support. If his father has plenty, that satisfies the child and is a great deal better than if it were in the child’s own possession, since in that case it might get lost. In the same way it is not necessary for Christians to have all their spiritual possessions in their own keeping. It is far better that their riches should be stored up for them in Christ.
When people are comparative strangers to one another, they cannot with any comfort receive great gifts from each other. But when they are united in spirit, with a bond of true love between them, then no matter how great the gifts may be that pass from one to the other, they can be accepted without any feeling of embarrassment or obligation on either side.
This principle holds good in the spiritual life. When Christians are living far off from God, they cannot be brought to accept any great gifts from Him. But when Christians get near enough to the Lord to feel the true spirit of adoption, they are ready to accept with delight all the blessings He has in store for them. For then they discover that He is only eager, as parents are, to pour out every good gift on His children. They see that, in fact, all things are theirs, because they are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s (cf. 1 Cor. 3:21–23). (SEC, 167–68)

Deuteronomy 28:2-6 (NJB)

2 and all these blessings will befall and overtake you, for having obeyed “THE VOICE” of Yahweh your God.3‘You will be blessed in the town and blessed in the countryside;4 blessed, the offspring of your body, the yield of your soil, the yield of your livestock, the young of your cattle and the increase of your flocks;5 blessed, your basket and your kneading trough.6 You will be blessed in coming home, and blessed in going out.

I am so glad to be in fellowship with a mature group of believers that I can share things like this with. Sometimes ya just gotta let it out……. I mean tell somebody for heavens sake!
This really spoke to me this morning when I read it. I emphasized the words THE VOICE because that’s what jumped out at me. I had always read this with the understanding that this was talking about obeying the bible (specifically the 10 commandments) and that is good, but this word here is definitely not talking about reading. It means “a sound” and usually a very pronounced or loud sound that would get your attention. And could come from various sources, it does not have to be a human voice it could even be thunder – as I typed that it thundered; I kid you not! Another thing is when you hear a voice it is NOW …….Sooo God was saying to me WHEN YOU HEAR ME SPEAK TO YOU TODAY – OBEY. Then began to think of all the ways God speaks to us even as the meaning of the underlying Greek word here for “VOICE” gives reference to.

I am going to be on my toes today with one ear raised anxiously listening for God to speak through what ever means He may choose. And have my shoes on and ready to obey as soon as I know what to do. I sure would like some of those blessing that follow!

What have you guys HEARD God say to you today? How did He say it? Now don’t say you heard the trees singing; that would be as crazy as some guy I heard of that lived a long time ago that killed a big giant and then wrote a book of songs about crazy stuff like that happening. :-)

Here is a tid-bit on that word; "VOICE" yep, definitely means a sound or noise.

Shalom,
Dennis

VOICE
qol (קוֹל, 6963), “voice; sound; noise.” This word also appears in Ugaritic (“sound”), Akkadian (“call”), Arabic (“say”), and in Phoenician, Ethiopic, and old South Arabic (“voice”). Qol appears about 506 times in the Bible and in all periods.
In its first meaning the word denotes a “sound” produced by vocal cords. This includes the human “voice”: “And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel” (Josh. 10:14). The word also includes vocal “sounds” produced by animals: “And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating [literally, sound] of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing [literally, sound] of the oxen which I hear?” (1 Sam. 15:14). In this regard qol is used of the “voice” of personified inanimate objects or things: “And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground” (Gen. 4:10).
The second meaning, “sound” or “noise,” appears especially in poetical passages and covers a great variety of “noises and sounds,” such as the “noise or sound” of battle: “And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp” (Exod. 32:17). It can be used of the “sound” of words (Deut. 1:34), water (Ezek. 1:24), weeping (Isa. 65:19), and thunder (Exod. 9:23).

Hello Family:

I don't have much time online, but God prompted me to share this with everyone. These are some study notes of insight from last year while I was studying Joshua- Chapter 5... Here goes...

Joshua (5)

The dying out / passing away of Hindrances, stagnantion, and outdated mindsets.

Moving FORWARD with Freshness, while dropping / cutting off baggage which could keep one in slavery / bondage mentality.

Sitting Still for a while, as GOD removes everything unnecessary, so that one is completely healed and restored when arriving to the Promised Land- the lands flowing with milk and honey.

DISCONNECTING from those who hold us down and stunting our growth because they dwell in jealousy, envy, and negativity. Therefore, they do not desire to see God's chosen ones advance because it means they either MUST ARISE from where they are to keep in harmonious relationships or get LEFT BEHIND!

The old ways of receiving has dried up, now the land that one has cultivated with his / her own hands from the seed which God has given produces much fruit and grain--- yeilding supernatural abundance.

Holy Ground is established wherever the Spirit of the LORD abides and in the pleces that he sends me because HE dwells within me / us!

Amen.

To Bloggers:

I am noticing a trend as I have read this blog over the past few days. It seems to me that the focus has shifted to the blog and not the outside world. That seems counter-productive to me, but that is just my voice and you don't have to agree.

Not trying to put words in anyone's mouth, but I don't even think that the Sahib would want it so Bishopcentric. Again, that's just me and I may have, as Crème Bruille so eloquently stated, "My head up my ass".

As for strangers celebrating the Bishop and Pastor Debye more than the church, I would ask the question, "Who shows up every week? Strangers or fellow laborers that helped fulfill the vision?" Gratitude is more than emotion, if anything, it is tacit approval backed by a concrete (and steel) offering.

I expect a great deal of push back for this post and that's okay, I can take it. I just believe that tolerance is the epitome of the universal spirit and to challenge anyone's dedication because it doesn't happen to fit the emotional paradigm of how others perceive giving or worship, is counter-productive.

The universe uses all the emotions, even the ones that I don't understand. I am being sharpened even as I write by the more ebullient defenders of Bishop. If it is a lesson to which I am being conformed to, then I welcome it, if not, then I just have to say that it isn't for me right now.

Peace to all

Ain't God Good?

I just tried to post and it went into the atmosphere--aaacckkk!!!

Will come back to it this afternoon, but for now, it started like this--

Cool, Dennis. I've wondered about this a lot!! I hear people say "God said this or that." Even today. And I wonder how exactly, not as a challenge but to understand more about how He communicates with His children.

and ended with--
And then there's Kathryn Kuhlman. What did SHE hear?

Gotta get a few things done. I'll reconstruct the rest and be back.

Unknown said...

DBA, Bishopcentric? Well, it is his personal blog. But I don't see the trend you see. Can't speak for where your head is (smile) but there is always a flow from thanks to the blog owner [sometimes effusive but to be expected especially from new receivers] to new subjects to praise to and for God and what He is doing or saying and then back to thanks.

I'm a little confused. "The blog and not the outside world."?
More light please.

(but mostly I'm wanting to get back to Dennis' post at 10:29.)

Afternoon Blogamily,

Hope you all are enerting into the weekend with a happy, happy mentality...

Dennis, excellent stuff. will need to ponder ome on that... how dooes one deterine whether that voice is the still, soft voice God/HS, or just our own wants and desires crying for our attention? Hearing the voice is good, but discernment and true revelation of the voice need to be an important part of the hearing equation, too.

DBA, what has gotten into you??? If I didn't know better, I'd think you were trying to pick a fight! Fun,wow! I do say that I totally agree with what you are saying about the Bish and Pastor Debye being celebrated more elsewhere. I don't believe they are either. I see great many people who participate and support CITN with everything they've got. Granted the number should be bigger, but more will come around.

As for the part about strangers celebrating our "first couple" more, I think you can look at it from this angle. Compare this to a marriage. "Newlywed love" and "25th anniversary love" are in most cases different. Newlywed love is breathtaking, fresh, and in most cases a little scary(good scary). 25th anniversay love is deeper, mature, steadfast, and constant. I don't think that one is any less important than the other, just different. Myself, I appreciate the deep, steadfast kind of love that is daily refreshed, with new and exciting mutual adventures that allows the love and appreciation to continue to grow.

I'm not so sure of the "Bishopcentric" thing, though. i think that this is all a part of spreading the overall message to the world, and to bring them HOME. There are powerful ideas that jump out of "this" place everyday, and judging by the new faces we "see" here almost daily, we are having some effect.

The greatness of what is going on here is evident no matter what the subject of the day may be. Who would not want to be a part of something that is so great even it may seem less than phenominal at times. This is what family IS. That's REAL, and through the love that's shown here, the message will show thru, and the mission WILL be accomplished.

tracy said...

My take on the blog is this, Bishop first created it to be an extension of himself and his thoughts outside of CITN,except that he is one with CITN so it was impossible to keep it separate. So many people from so many backgrounds and places became a part of our extended family that it was attached to the CITN site so all would feel welcome. I do feel like we are one big happy family here and when Bishop is out of pocket for a few days we still interact, encourage, and provoke thought amongst ourselves. I do see what DBA is saying about everyone not being in the same place with giving of time finances, etc. For some the sacrifice is time, for some the sacrifice is $. It is all considered a form of worship I am sure. I am not much for argueing about anything-ever. So -I just say PEACE- work it out with God! He owns the cattle, He feeds the birds of the air and He can put it in your heart to serve where you are called to serve. I will say this(in a non argueing kind of way
) it does take cold hard cash to keep the doors open, to pay the staff, and to pay for heat and ac so I do believe if you walk in those doors or receive from this ministry in any way- you should give back. Selah

tracy said...

Whoa-I got off track as I usually do, on Friday's especially, my brain is full of payroll. So i am going to try again. I believe the blog serves as a community. I believe we all have something great to teach or learn from each other. I believe that everyday what is spoken here is taken out into the world for the greater good. I believe it is very special that God has made a way for Bishop and Pastor Debye to sit in high places and share the God that we know. Our local body definately does celebrate them also-BUT the fact that God has chosen them to have a voice in so many different religions, beliefs, politics,nations-is to me quite extraordinary and I celebrate that as if it were me doing the talking myself.

famman87 said...

Well said Tracy!!! The fact that Bishop and P. Debye have been annoited to deliver the Holy Spirit to so many different peoples, and that these people are hungry for it, is truly an amazing blessing. This morning at prayer the word was peace & that was such a timely message. Went to the graveyard to find out about burying my dad's ashes. Needed peace today. Keep up the prayers. I haven't heard from my step family. I'll call tomorrow to see whats going on.
Have a great weekend everyone.

I guess you guys are closer to it than I am. Something gets lost in the translation, I guess. That's the cost of not being in the service.

I appreciate your hearing with open ears.

Ain't God Good?

Just wanted to let everyone know that one of the mother's in our church, Alfreda Clark is relocating back to her place of birth, California early next week. May 4th will be her last day in attendance at the church (prayerfully, she is really exhausted). So, let us remember to lift her up as we prophesy that her later shall be greater than her former.

We pray a smooth transition and flow and peace in the Holy Ghost for her life.

Thanks, Family

DBA,

In the words of our great Bishop, It's ALL good.

Debate is always good and opens up great dialog. Makes us all have to think.

Much Love...

Ditto Famman-And God bless DBA- you always give us something to think about and are an excellent addition to our family. Hopefully one day you can be in the building and experience a service up close and personal. Peace.

I was not there on Wednesday to hear the message but I can tell by all that has been written that it was a powerful message. From what I gather we received a low offering on Sunday. What's up with that. I agree with Tracy...a huge amen to your first blog especially the part about the ones that walk through the door being responsible to make sure that everything is going as it should be.

Amen to the second posting and I, like you am so blessed to be just a small part of anything to do with this ministry. If someone is not receiving it is because they are not connected whether it be through actual hands on or in the giving department.

My plea and prayer is that everyone will GET IT and do their part to make sure that we are taken care of when it comes to the lights, the ac, the heat, the mortgage or whatever it may be. I have received so much from this ministry that I have to be a part. I cannot act like I just had a great meal and then not help out with the dishes. Come on people, we need everyone.
love and blessings

Will do, Laura, and also you.
Blessing and favor to Alfreda.
Tracy, I agree. Great phrases!
Famman87, you're so ON today!
DBA, sweet sigh. Love ya, dude.

So, Dennis, on your topic, and HOW did He say it?
I say again, I’m into this subject--I so want to get better at hearing Him!

Bishop has said that he likes saying “I feel impressed to say---“. I like that, because, as famman87 said, I could be sensing my own desires, it promotes a dialogue, removes manipulation, etc. I’m most confident about an impression to do, say or even post when it is the opposite of what I was feeling at the time.

I really enjoy noticing when God shows up in what several people are saying. Like your “THE VOICE”, when words or phrases “jump out” and connect with other words or phrases and ends up forming a whole thought or concept. I like the confirmation of the power that is in the Body.

I don’t share this often [religion squelched it early on] but I heard a voice in my head that I knew was not my own once, saying “Rise up, my child.” Following a pleading wordless prayer, the words did not speak to my specific questions but they were the words I needed to hear. Oddly, I just obeyed—no thinking about it, just got up, went back to where I’d run from and went on. Over the years I’ve noticed those words have been a Gospel that has never left me.

I often [years!] wondered why God didn’t speak like that again. I eventually understood that I was to just trust Him and walk by faith. It makes me a bit [who am I kidding, a LOT] nervous to post this [wide open on the whole internet!] especially since it wouldn’t post earlier today. But I really would like to hear what others know about His voice.

Which brings me to my earlier closing question, what do y’all think Kathryn Kuhlman heard?

Real People-Experiencing The Real GOD-In The Real World! It's interesting how one comment can cause such a strange vibe. WHOA.

*PEACE-GREASE & FLEECE....
all things that make you feel good*
I hope everyone is having a great night. I am surfing the blog trying to read everyone's comments and some stuff is really deep. I love reading about the dreamers who are describing real visual stuff. I absolutely adore todays blog where Bishop said to reach out to the screen and he prayed a blessing. I felt a little weepy over that because I totally get it.If I offended anyone (and I personally know Creme B would never want to offend anyone) Sorry-please forgive.
Now- let's get on with it!
Lord please bless and protect the people in the Heart Land and Virginia that were hit with tornadoes. DBA- I pray that you and your family are safe. I happened to notice your profile indicated mid west and I'm not sure if you were affected but obviously it is the flow for you or someone you know to recieve this prayer of protection and blessing...or I wouldnt be typing this. Please let us know your prayer request or what to pray over. You are loved by the CITN family. We embrace our streamers and I know we can all agree that you help make up this body of Christ. In Jesus name Amen.
I love this blog family and love the fact that we are real. Each of us are dealing with whats going on in our lives, this is such a positive break from my world of reality. I can see creative beautiful men and women who have so many things in common. Most importantly we love our Lord Jesus Christ. It's amazing to me the amount of scripture I'm learning. :) And in depth insight from Avatar.
God Bless you all....keep on dreaming!
