Hey bloggers,

While I’m taking some time off, I’ve decided to let you continue the conversation without me. I’ve changed the blog settings so that your comments don’t have to be moderated, they’ll just go straight through to the site. I know it’s a little risky to make something with my name on it so vulnerable to cyberspace, but I’m just going to trust that you will respect my site in my absence in the same way that you would respect my house if I weren’t home. Anyway, the just shall live by faith.

When I check in I will still reserve the right to remove a comment if I deem it inappropriate. But now you insomniacs can talk all night long…

I’ll be back when I’m back…

As I was at intercession today praying..I brought my choir book and was praying for our choir, Leaders, Worship, etc. I have verses on it that mean alot to me. This one told me to tell ya, Bishop.

Food for thought...

Today, It is important that we remind ourselves…
…that goodness , at the very deepest level of being, is who and what we are.
Because of cultural, societal, and religious influences, we sometimes struggle with that fact.
We have been taught to believe humanity is inherently bad, born in a “fallen” state, and separated from our Creator because of it.
Somewhere along the way, someone told us “we were naked"…and we believed it.
In the story of Adam and Eve, when God asked them, “who told you,you were naked?“, my imagination hears Him following that question with the statement: …”because I never did”.
Our inherent good-ness is because of our inherent God-ness. This infinite goodness is not definable by human intellect. It has no opposite. It is not opposed by infinite “badness”.
Believing this is the true nature of our soul, we instinctively see it as the true nature of everyone’s soul as well.

Love God, Love your neighbor, Love yourself today, because it really is… “all GOoD”.

Yep, 8-15 (46 years ago) was the day God blessed this earth with my presence. YOU LUCKY PEOPLE!

The Best Gift

If you travel in the mountains of North Georgia, you might pass by a church with the unusual name of Dewberry Baptist Church #2. If you drive on a little while longer, you will come upon another church called Dewberry Baptist Church. When I first encountered these two churches years ago, I asked a friend of mine who was the resident Baptist historian for North Georgia about it. His face lit up. "Oh, that's a great story. That church split over a chicken leg."

Well, now I was hooked. I had to hear the rest of the story. It is, as they say, a doozy! It seems that in the mid-1800s a controversy arose in the congregation of Dewberry Baptist Church about the doctrine of predestination. About half of the congregation had strong feelings about pro-predestination and the other half had very strong anti-predestination beliefs. At the height of the controversy, the two chief proponents - or antagonists might be a better description - of the two points of view were sitting across from each other at a covered dish dinner. At some point in the meal the non-predestination ringleader turned to the predestination ringleader and said, "You mean to tell me that before the beginning of time I it was predetermined that I was to eat this drumstick?" "Yes, brother, you were" replied the other.

The non-predestination leader then said, "HA!", threw the chicken leg across the room and walked out. About half of the church walked out with him. They started a new church, but did not want to give up the church name to "those people," so they named their new church Dewberry Baptist Church #2.

Today, many years later, the controversy is long forgotten, and the two churches get along wonderfully.


Have you ever noticed how easy it is for us to allow ourselves to get sidetracked by things that aren't even a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of eternal consequences? We all can tell horror stories that we have either experienced personally or have heard from someone who was there about churches splitting apart over the color of carpet, the shape of the chandeliers, the style of music, the pastor's salary, building programs, or any number of things that in the context of eternity are utterly meaningless.


This is exactly what motivated the Apostle Paul to write one of the most, if not the most beautiful passages in the entire Bible: I Corinthians 13. We know these four paragraphs of Paul's letter as "the love chapter," but many people don't realize the context in which it is placed. The gist of I Corinthians 13 is that if we as followers of Jesus Christ do not have love as our overarching goal, aim and passion, then we are worthless to the world and to the Kingdom.

The Corinthian Church had many problems, and one of them was that people were using the gifts of the Spirit, and tongues in particular as some sort of spiritual merit badge. Those who exercised the gift of tongues felt they were more spiritual than others, which apparently caused other people to seek earnestly after that gift so they, too would be considered spiritual. In chapter 12, Paul states clearly that God gives a variety of spiritual gifts to people so the church can function well. Just as the eye can't say to the hand, "I don't need you" we cannot say that one gift is more important, or spiritual than another.

At the end of chapter 12, Paul says, "I will show you a more excellent way." His next paragraph (what we know as Chapter 13) begins with, "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal..."

Here is what Paul is saying to you and me in those four brief paragraphs: All of the things that we would use to boast of our spirituality or advance the Kingdom are meaningless and worthless unless love rules our lives and our actions!


Want to be a spiritual giant? Let God's love consume you and guide everything that you do. See the world - and the church - through the eyes of Jesus and with the heart of God the Father. Love others as you are loved.

That is the most excellent way.

OK so Bailey is in a new school and had a bit of an adjustment to make in her behavior so the first week she spends 4 out of 5 days in the "thinking chair". This week she stayed out of the chair all week.....until yesterday. So I go to pick her up and her parapro comes out with the rest of the kids and no Bailey. She proceeds to tell me that Bailey is again in the "thinking chair". Apparently she has a new student in her class and everytime the teacher called his name Bailey bounded out of her seat and yelled something. So I go what is his name and she says "Marco" so you get where I am going with this, everytime they called his name Bailey had to get in her "Polo".......I think she thought it was worth it- when I was attempting to hide my smile she couldn't hide hers either.

Clearly, we are all connected in the magnificent Body of Christ.

A few days ago, there was a lot of talk about "The Shack". I have not read it, but was doing some web surfing about the author and happened across the author's videos about his life story and his teachings done in early July at a church.

It's easy to see by watching these videos that I am sure the book is life-changing and phenomenal as it frees souls from the bondage of religion. I can also see many parallels to Bishop in this man that God is using as a vessel to speak the truth.

Just checkin in...moved on campus yesterday afternoon...still have yet to meet my new roomate..internet's been down in the dorms so i had to go to the lab to see what was going on...txtd Judah today about his classes and we chatted for a minute about our schedules for thuis semester...other than that not much has been happening on campus.....I start my classes Monday and I am super excited about it!!!

Tracey, that gave me a smile too. I can not count the times that finding the humor in a name or word got me into a heap of trouble at school (pre seventies).

Peacemaker, you have spoken my heart. Humanity is not nor has ever been in a fallen state and never will be. When we were created, God followed it with an explicative statement that it is good.

I will not believe that there has ever been a change of mind for God and if there has been I prefer to spend an eternity turning on a spit over Dante's flames. For those of you who think that the mind of God was changed, if it was then please just drizzle a little butter on me during my eternal rotiserie, perhaps that will make me a little tastier for those who will be gnashing on me. But wait , if I am burning for ever, when will anyone have time to gnash on me? Oh well, maybe it is time to go back to the drawing board on eternal hell and torment and so forth.

The errors made by those who think otherwise is obvious, God is good and is good for all of eternity.

10:42 am anon-just had a chance to read your post and wow. North GA/chicken leg wow-that brought back a story my mom told me about my grandma from North GA. Her name was Vercie and her cousin was Emma Lou(TRULY their names) they were at the Picadilly and apparently grandma asked the lady behind the counter for a chicken wang to which Emma Lou replied Vercie nobody says wang it makes you sound uneducated. So the lady asks Emma Lou what she will have and says I'll have the lag.

Don't relax keep praying. Even though things may be looking greater there is bigger and brighter things to come. Hold Bishop up during this time of connection with the Father. Be his arms and pray him through.
This morning the Father woke me with this word. You've been reaching and praying it's here for you but why do you not take what is promised to you. Look inside the prayer the answer is there for you. Believe when you pray and the miracle will come through.

First of all, I love you more than I can ever say in natural words or deeds and I'm truly praying for you! In the 20 years that I've been with you, the one thing I've always been able to count on is the fact that you absolutely do hear from God. When it comes to things of the Spirit, you bat 1000! I'm glad that you have taught us how to hear from God for ourselves, but for CITN, you are still the voice of God and we need to hear from Him and from you! I believe tomorrow will be an incredibly anointed service and I believe the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you and the voice of God will be heard, recognized, and acted upon!!

I'm anxious to see what's going to happen next! Let's move forward! We're with you!

Also, Usein Bolt of Jamaica won the 100 meter sprint, settign a world record, and slowing up 3/4 the way , and was still way ahead of the pack. Oh yeah, he just started the distance a year ago. Over each replay, I just though, God, Your creation is so superb. It shows that anything 'outstanding' in the natural, can easily be done , as Mr. Bolt displayed.

God is on it. 20 world records in swimming as well. Go God !!!! the beauty in God's creation, and the pinnacle, Humans. AT our best, we are stunning.

What a wonderful day this has been! Good is Good all the time. I have to say all that I have needed and wanted was given. In turn I had opprotunity to give to the needs of others. I have enjoyed many good things today. I have loved and been loved. I have shared a smile with others and others have shared there happiness with me. I have held the sorrow and suffering of some up to the throne of heaven; from where all grace flows; with the satisfying confedence and assurance of the faith of Christ in the power and love of the Father. I have looked at, and experienced all these things with this same assurance that Christ Spoke on earth, God is good and He is good to all.

Yes we are,Erik! And most interesting Iclast that I previewed this at the exact minute you posted.

Through a series of unusual events I ended up listening to an interview today with Clay Shirkey, author of "Hear Comes Everybody", subtitled The Power of Organizing Without Organizing.

Though not an exact quote, he got my attention with this: great change comes when one mind by one, people decide to change. And he pointed out that one of the most powerful change agents of the 20th century was not putting a man on the moon [requiring government or big business action] but the birth control pill, requiring action by one person at a time that became revolutionary.

And the surprise has been that people have chosen to share their knowledge instead of keeping it to themselves. The general belief is that people will always look out for themselves. But wiki has shown that there is something deeper. A desire to give and a recognition that we are all enlarged when that is done.

God is good and has established that all creation is good, therefore the Word has made the strongest statement possible that all is good.

Humanity, because of a lack of listening and learning with ears that hear, has asserted that there is something bad about what has been created.

With God all things are possible and as Iconoblast pointed out with the LOVE OF GOD we are performing at 101%.

Looking to listen and learn with hearing ears this morning as God reveals more Love through our anointed and refreshed teacher, Bishop Jim.

No matter what is spoken, it is good because it is given by God.

Bishop, I was concerned and began to pray on Friday when it looked like the blog was temporarily shut down. I know how much you love this blog and your bloggers as well as your congregation. I ask for your forgiveness in not praying as often as I can although I do intercede for you a lot and this ministry.

Although the Lord has lead me into different ministries which he is perfecting through me, you are my spiritual father, you are my pastor and you are my Bishop. The spirit that God has given you is AMAAAAAZING! I have friends in other states who I send your AYITN to and sometimes your daily entries from your blog and they are so blown away. God has given you the nations and I personally am very proud to belong to this the most awesome church in the universe.

Yes the Lord has given us the nations for our inheritance and we can dream Bishop, because of the visionary you and Pr. Debye are. You have washed me in the word for years no I hear your voice in my head when I need to instantly get a word ~ your voice delivers it.

You are a voice crying in the wilderness and because of this ministry, you have no idea of the courage and strength I have with a "I can" attitude.

It is God himself who will shake everything that shall be shaken. But I know in my knower that the CITN will stand. It is built on solid ground and though the winds may blow, we will not brake.

You have to worship him, you need to worship him, because you know what we can't obtain in the natural we can worship it into our lives.

I speak peace to you Bishop, wholeness to every part of your body, your spirit, your body and your soul, that no weapon formed against you (or CITN) shall prosper, that you are the head only and never the tail, that God encompasses the righteous with favor as with a shield, that as you continue to bind truth and mercy around your neck you will have favor with God and man, that He who began a good work in you is well able to perform it until the day of the Lord, that you are loved, your are blessed, you are whole, you have the ability to get wealth, that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. It is in Him that you move and breath and have your being, it is not by might nor by power but by His spirit that CITN goes to the other side to see the salvation of the Lord.

And for all of you bloggers who love this ministry, ask God for a witty invention, a God idea, a fund raiser, write a grant, ask for a stakeholder in the community to bless this mimistry financially and be a doer of the word and not a hearer only. Faith without works are dead being alone.

I can feel the passion and conviction in your writing. Obviously, this revelation is very close to your heart right now. I, too, intuit the non-separation between man and his creator. From the first life on this planet some 600+million years ago, to the emergence of man over a million years ago, until now, the Whole has been manifest in Its parts. What a magnificent, energetic Creator who added just the right amount of elements to the Universe, gave them the ability to intelligently bond to create galaxies bursting at the seams with stars, planets, and eventually...us. I know this is a very rudimentary description of such a profound, multidimensional process, but you get the idea.
The Divine Principle, this great mystery we call God, has been not only present, but interwoven in all of creation from the beginning(if there really was a beginning). Created in His image and likeness, we are blessed with a beautiful thing called consciousness which allows us the awareness of our experiences and interactions with the Creative process itself and our place in the evolutionary chain to this point and many stages to come.
God is not static. He/She/It is pure energy and love; manifested out to the physical from the kingdom within, ever creating the worlds we experience through our consciousness. How could this be anything but GOOD? How could the Whole and It’s parts have ever been aliens to one another? According to Paul, it only happened because someone convinced us that was the case. Like I said before, someone told us we were “naked” and we believed it. However, I sense a collective mental renewing happening as never before. People from all walks of life, transcending all belief systems, are awakening to their true God nature within. The knowledge of God is truly covering the earth as the waters cover the deep. This knowledge is pure and it is good; undiluted by and particular doctrine man has created.
I believe God created man in Its image and likeness. The problem is, we’ve been trying to return the favor ever since.

Guys...really need a prayer of agreement for my wife Natasha. She has a very high profile meetings Tomorrow and Tuesday in Atlanta, but she is not feeling well...pray the Lord give her strength in body/mind and peace...and of course wonderful favor.
These meetings include;
Shirley Franklin-mayor of Atlanta, US secretary of Commerce, megaTv, TV Azteca, President of Guatemala, President of El Salvador, President of Columbia, President of Andean Development, VP of Continental Airlines, Publisher of National Geographic and a few others. She will be interpreting in Spanish.

May you receive renewal and restoration to mind and soul...neither be confounded or depressed, for you will not be put to shame. Today may you be far from oppression or any dark thing that tries to come against your mind.

When my kids lived at home it was routine for me to stand at the front door, blessing them as they sprinted to the bus stop.

One morning was particularly harried.

It was picture day, curling iron wouldn't cooperate, outfits didn't match, wrong brand of cereal; there were several tests scheduled. The list was long.

My youngest brushed past me on her way out. With the teaspoon of grace I had left, I said, "Great is your peace - undisturbed is your countenance!"

No response.

The bus doors opened & she turned. Smiling, she waved & yelled, "COMPOSURE, Mom!"

If I'd never heard you say these words, Bish, I may have never seeded them into the future.

You read me very well and that is miraculous because like all persons who blog I try to keep it brief and in doing so find that what has been said from my paradigm is easily interpreted a different way by those who can not read minds.

There are probably more than a couple of my views that need clarification but for sake of time and space I will address two here for now.

First, the thought you interjected when you said (if there really was a beginning) is central to what it means to me when I repeat themes such as what we have known from before the beginning. There is very strong evidence that suggests what exists now, always has but in different forms and concentrations. The same elements of which we are comprised have been in existence since there has been anything such as elements. Actually these same elements pass into and out of our bodies indefinitely as long as there is a body. There is a guiding consciousness that accumulates as increased intelligence within the confines of our stored intelligence but is not confined by that storehouse. It strongly appears to be separate from the elements themselves and most likely abides eternally without beginning or end along with the Divine Principle. That part of who we are is what I believe has been expressed by others as the spirit of a person. That spirit has much information that is not easily remembered or perceived if you will by the intellectual mind. We can gain much insight and Godly wisdom by heeding that spirit when it is insistent in our decision making activity. I am not sure if that spirit is the same as the Holy Spirit or simply coexistent with it.

Second, the term static may not be a good choice of words for many who see it as motionless but for me it represents stored potential as pure energy that has not been utilized. In the fire service we referred to static pressure as being potential water under pressure waiting to be called on. Electricians see static pressure expressed as voltage potential that has not yet been converted to amperage and made subject to resistance. If not tempered by other understandings of that term, one who only sees static from the mindset of an electrician or fire hydraulics engineer could perceive that if you said God is not static then you are also saying that God has no power left to be called upon.

As Bishop mentioned this morning it is easy to misunderstand what is going on without good communication both from the sender and receiver. It is equally important to understand that if either the sender or receiver has a hidden agenda to hurt the other in someway that communication can be manipulated for that purpose. That is why today’s word from God through Bishop was so important to the CITN congregation and also what was conveyed to Bishop through each of the people who spoke as investors today as being a word from God to Bishop from the congregation. Today was a much more blessed communication that Bishop realized at the time but he will soon get a marvelous blessing from both the sending and receiving today.

PM, you are dear to my heart and our convictions concerning the powerful love of God are the same now, always have been and always will be.
