OK, How About This One?

In my deepest times suffering through depression, wondering if my heart or head would explode, the only thing that kept me hanging on was this little phrase that has been in me ever since I was a child: "Everything is going to be alright, somehow, some way everything is going to be alright."
If not for hope, my time in this earth suit would have ended 20 years ago.
I had had a dream several years before going into depression that was as follows:
I was running underneath a stadium where the vertical cement supports were. As I ran, the supports got closer and closer together until I finally found my self stuck in between two of them. I struggled and wiggled to get free but to no avail, when suddenly I hear a voice say: "Listen to me." I stopped for a second, then went right back to struggling to extricate myself. Again..."Listen to me." I stop for a minute and am not free yet so more struggling ensues...again, the voice: "Listen to Me!" I went completely limp and said "I am listening Lord."
There was a time coming in my life that the ONLY way out was to cease my activities and my way and go the Lord's way, listening to His voice.
I believe in miracles.
I believe in our God.
I believe our prayers avail much.

I had a vision several months ago in which there was a flood outside the CITN building of human waste. As the waste grew higher, it burst forth into the lobby, but as it poured into the doors to the sanctuary, it was transformed into strands of gold, white and pure.
The Lord said "I am sending those that have been considered 'throw aways', or 'human waste', and there has been a shaking of preparation for these to be accepted in your midst."

I believe in the fulfillment of this word.
I believe God has given this church the heathen for our inheritance.

I believe this is ALREADY a house for fallen ministers, because I was one. I had been an usher for years, home fellowship leader, leader of home fellowship leaders, home visitation director for a fourth of Dallas for our church and within months was devastated!

The words spoken over me by Bishop Swilley in this house over the past 4-5 years have produced in me a crop of blessings, righteousness, peace and joy that I had pretty much given up hope for.
This house MUST continue.
For the sake of one righteous man, let alone the hundreds that are here.
There are many coming that will APPRECIATE the manna Bishop!

Though I walk on the water and see no shore, I will trust in you Lord.

Though I be soaring through the clouds and see no land in sight, I will trust you Lord.

Though I be at the bottom of the murky ocean where no light can filter down, I will trust you Lord.

"Trust the Lord with all yout heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Prov 3

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2Cor3:18

My God, finished reading chapter 7 in The Two Towers after feeling led to read it. What words, phrases, and sentiments are hidden in their pages.

Anyone for some Judges Chapter 7 ? I'm feeling drawn to that now.

Larry your Words are like honey. The best is yet to come for you.

The heathen is CITNs inheritance. I've seen it to. The nations! Which if you track in the Hebrew is from the word Pagans. If you take God's hand and preach this Glorious Gospel outside of your four walls; My God CITN I hope and pray your all really ready for what's coming.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who, according to His vast mercy, regenerates us into a living expectation, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead, for the enjoyment of an allotment incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, kept in the heavens for you, who are garrisoned by the power of God, through faith, for salvation ready to be revealed in the last era, in which you are exulting; briefly at present, if it must be, being sorrowed by various trials, that the testing of your faith, much more precious than gold which is perishing, yet, being tested by fire, may be found for applause and glory and honor at the unveiling of Jesus Christ, Whom, not perceiving, you are loving; in Whom, not seeing at present, yet believing, you are exulting with joy unspeakable and glorious, being requited with the consummation of your faith, the salvation of your souls. Concerning which salvation the prophets seek out and search out, who prophesy concerning the grace which is for you, searching into what or what manner of era the spirit of Christ in them made evident, when testifying beforehand to the sufferings pertaining to Christ and the glories after these. To whom it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they dispensed them, of which you were now informed through those who are bringing the evangel to you by holy spirit dispatched from heaven, into which messengers are yearning to peer. To whom it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they dispensed them, of which you were now informed through those who are bringing the evangel to you by holy spirit dispatched from heaven, into which messengers are yearning to peer. Wherefore, girding up the loins of your comprehension, being sober, expect perfectly the grace which is being brought to you at the unveiling of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, not configuring to the former desires, in your ignorance, but, according as He Who calls you is holy, you also become holy in all behavior, because it is written that, Holy shall you be, for I am holy.

1 PET 4: 3-16 (CLNT)

Larry, something else you said which is a conformation to me.

I believe in miracles.

This morning I woke up, and I still try and watch some TBN sometimes to see what's being said. Early this morning Katherine Kuhlman was on. If we only knew the crowd of witnesses who encamp about us. Anyhow, if anyone would feel led, her show is broadcast on Wednesday morning at 5:30 a.m. Set your DVRs and Tivos up for it. As Bishop said , some things from yesterday are still so In The Now. I've felt the Lord's prompting to inform some of you of this viewing.

Let's keep praising and praying and be encouraged by Paul who said:

I would like every one of you to speak in tongues....Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

The Psalms

A Prayer for Victory
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice.

Selah.

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfill all thy petitions. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

This pic is amazing. Is that a stork?

Aware of the others who've gone into the belly before yet closing the throat of your imminent adversary, who just might be your blessing, with your own hands--amazing.

Now THAT'S some strength, chutzpah and wise desiderata action!

Whatever the frog is praying, the adversary is definitely off balance. I'm thinking an army of frogs would be a blessing any minute now.

I suspect we all know this. But just in case not--FROG--in recent years is being used by Christians for "fully relying on God".

Bish that one made me laugh the first time I saw it and still does the trick for me today. As long as the frog holds on, he can't be swallowed up by adversity.

veri word; lythe - let your truth heal everyone

SOZ, I do apologize for the stirring questions posed yesterday that seem a bit obscure. Part of what you said concerning that without the Bible we would just have to write our own is exactly what was at the heart of my querry.

We do write our own Bible made of different books throughout a lifetime. You are making some excellent contributions already and no doubt will bring much healing to those in need of it.

As for your question about me being some kind of Christian gnostic or mystic or something, my best answer is Christian - probably not but I am working on it; gnostic - I do not believe transcending matter is prerequisite to being a Christian although that has actually happened for me on a rare occasion; mystic - yea I can buy into that one.

peace to you my healing brother

When I see the picture it's the stork that's not giving up. I guess I should root for the frog but-let the stork be the victor. It is what it is and we will do what we gotta do. Robyn

Anonymous said...

I have to add more. YES the bird (I don't know if its a stork) is the victor. We all individually and corporately are bigger than our circumstances. I'm not goung to give up on fulfullment because it make take a little more effort on my part. Furthermore much of what we struggle with is a gift from God. It His usual fashion its more than we have asked for. That frogs a gonner. Wether adversary or blessing let's all prevail. Robyn

peacemaker said...

Which one is "right". Therein lies the conundrum.
If they both hold on, no one wins. The frog suffocates and the stork starves. If the stork lets go, maybe the frog will too, or, maybe he won't knowing that he will have to face the stork again...and not be so lucky. If the frog relents, the stork's day will continue as planned. He has a good meal and the frog gives in to the circle of life with the hope he may return; maybe as a Prince, or just a pile of poop. If they both let go, I guess they'll just punch out, say "goodnight", go home, and resume on the morrow.
Life is full of infinite possibilities.

Peace,
PM

I like the way you think.

So how 'bout we just hang on until we just plain wear out the opposition that is opposing us, and that we do it with a cram it down your throat attitude, like the frog. I wonder if the bird (opposition) realizes that he can't
even cry uncle? We've got to keep holdin' on.

A Daily Word from Pastor Graham

August 28, 2008

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
-- Isaiah 41:10

Perhaps today, you are looking at your life and asking, “How did I get here?” Maybe life hasn't turned out the way you planned. Or maybe you're enslaved to your past and you wonder, “What do I do now?”

If this describes you or someone you love today, I want to remind you that God always preserves His own. Remember Joseph's many trials and challenges in the Old Testament? In Genesis 39:2, we read, “The LORD was with Joseph.” Now, remember-Joseph wasn't preserved from his circumstances. He was preserved in and through his circumstances.

The fact is we can't change our circumstances. We can't control what happens to us at all times. But you know what? We can change how we respond to the circumstances of life. And that attitude is what God expects us to work on.

You know, God often allows circumstances and winds to blow against us in order to knock the rough edges off of our lives. Kind of like how sandpaper knocks the rough edges off of wood. God uses the circumstances of our lives in order to polish us and make us more like the Master.

For example, perhaps God had to deal with Joseph's pride and ego before He could ultimately use him for His glory. So God allowed him to be sold into slavery and sent into Egypt. But remember this: While Joseph left his father back in Canaan, his heavenly Father went with him to Egypt.

If you find yourself in a difficult circumstance that you never imagined or never dreamed of, claim the promise from the Lord found in today's Scripture: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

When you claim that promise, you can be joyful in any circumstance, knowing that God is protecting you, preserving you, and holding His hand upon you.

YOU CAN'T ALWAYS CONTROL WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU,
BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS CONTROL HOW YOU RESPOND.

A picture speaks a thousand words!!!! Thanks Bishop.
Here’s my stance right now in the face some strong spiritual wickedness that has reared its ugly head! My God is more than enough!!! When I can't speak and don't know what to do...He speaks for me and sends His word!

Ask of Me, and I will show you great and mighty things you've never known,,Jer.33:3

"I know the plans I have for you, to give you a hope and a future,
the thoughts I think toward you are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope through to the end." Jer 29:11

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

"Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed , nor secret that will not be known. What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops." Matthew 10: 26-27

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:13

This one represent me, hiding myself inside the fish’s mouth (which will be my prayer closet) praying, waiting for the Lord answers, concerning the movement of the HOLY GHOST on Sunday. And also this cartoon looks like when the fish had swallowed Jonah, when Jonah had refused to go to Nineveh to preach to the people.

I don’t know what this picture: mean to you? As for me I have this thing; I always want to see God in everything I do, everything I see, and everything I say.

I may be wrong, but when the Bishop called for prayer yesterday, I know that’s exactly what the Lord wants us to do. “PRAY”. Not only, for an hour or two. God truly wants us to stay on a fasting prayer for at least three days before Him and before SUNDAY comes. [Today, Friday, Saturday]. [For whatever time you desire to contributed]

I know the story of Jonah, and I am not comparing us to him. Because, I don’t know any one’s heart! But what I am saying is this: take a close look at this cartoon see what this picture is really saying to us (you and me). As for me and my house we are going to take this howsome invitation and stay on this fasting prayer for those three days. Anyone with me! Let’s do it! We can and we need a change in the atmosphere and also in the Spirit. We need the new wine to be pour out in us, so, let us joined our hands and our hearts together to experience the taste of this new Wine coming forth.

So now, before we can experience this NEW WINE. We have to let go of the old wineskins. How do we do that? By doing our parts, go to our prayer closet ask for Change. Learned to let go of the old Wine. And learn to receive the new WINE. (Even when we don’t get it yet) Our prayers should be an honest one if we truly desire THE NEW WINE from the Lord.

How can we pray? - Simply first by: worship the Lord
Ask for forgiveness for yourself and others (Mark 11:25-26)
Pray According to the will of God for the church. (1 John 5:14-15)
Pray in the Name of Jesus. (John 16:23-24)
Pray in Faith. (James 1:6-8)
Pray in Persistence. (Heb. 10:23, 35-37)
Being Specific. (Remember this prayer is not about us right now. It’s all about, the movement of the HOLY SPIRIT in church in the now. WE NEED a different kind of visit from Him (Holy Spirit) on Sunday (Mark 11:22-24)

Pray in the Spirit. (The who can) (Eph. 6:18)

Pray in Agreement.
(Matt.18:19-20)
Trusting in the Lord God. (Prov. 3:5-6)

Thanksgiving and Praise(Ps.100:3-4)

Absolute Surrender (Luke 9:23-25)

Waiting on God! (Isa. 40:31)

Bible Meditation (at home) (Jos. 1:8)

LISTENING. (John 10:27-28)

Take your pains and sufferings, difficulties and hardships of each day, and offer them up for this specially prayer request that needs to be answered.

Love you All!

LET'S GET GOING OUR FATHER IS WATING.

Psalm for Today August 28, 2008 is: Psalm 105.
No doubt this Psalm shows us how many of the Israelites forget about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob while they were in Egypt. But that was then, and God has powerfully invaded the NOW.

God the Omnipotent King who ordained thunder the clarion, the lightning the sword; show forth pity on high, where You reign; Give to us peace in our O Lord.

“God is stronger than fire and destruction, and even in the valleys of deepest darkness, rod and staff are put into our hands and bridges are thrown across the abyss.”

“Dare to believe that our prayers will be answer Sunday.”

“Then you shall understand that God is a lovingkindness that underlay your darkest experiences.”

Love & peace

No cross will be given to us which we cannot bear. Let us continue to pray together.

Father God above all heaven and earth we pray for our own lives and the ministry you have ordained which is Church In The Now. We have every faith that you will keep your covenant with us, so we declare these things into existence with You, believing that they are Now, Yes, and Amen.

Bless me indeed and enlarge my coast. Cast out my enemies and enlarge my borders. Lord, you have promised to enlarge my borders. Enlarge my heart so I can run the way of your commandments. Enlarge my steps so I can receive your wealth and prosperity. The Lord shall increase me more and more, me and my children. Let me increase exceedingly. Let me increase and abound in love. Let my giving and tithes increase. Let me grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ. I flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Let my faith grow exceedingly. The breaker has gone up before me and broken through every limitation and barrier of the enemy. Lord, you are the God of the breakthrough. You have broken forth against my enemies. My branches run over every wall erected by the enemy. I am a joint heir with Jesus Christ. Give me the heathen for my inheritance and the uttermost part of the earth for my possession. Let every plant that my Father has not planted be rooted out in the name of Jesus. Let the roots of wickedness be as rottenness. I speak to every evil tree to be uprooted and cast into the sea. Let your holy fire burn up every ungodly root in the name of Jesus. Let the confidence of the enemy be rooted out. Let every root of bitterness be cut off from my life. Let the prophetic word be released to root out evil kingdoms. I break all assignments of the enemy against my finances in Jesus name. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, and failure in the name of Jesus. I seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, all things are added unto me. I rebuke and cast out all spirits of the canker-worm, palmerworm, caterpillar, and locust that would eat my blessing in the name of Jesus. You are Jehova-Jireh, my provider. You are El-Shaddai, the God of more than enough. Wealth and riches are in my house because I fear You and delight greatly in your commandments. I am God's servant, and He takes pleasure in my prosperity. I meditate on your Word day and night, and whatever I do prospers. Let peace be within my walls and prosperity within my palace. I believe the prophets and I prosper. I am your servant Lord. Prosper me. The God of heaven will prosper me. I live in the prosperity of the King. I pray in secret, and you reward me openly. I fast in secret, and you reward me openly. Lord, release the wealth of the wicked into my hands. Lord, bring me into a wealthy place. I give, and it shall be given unto me - pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Open the floodgates of heaven over my life, and I receive more than I have room enough to receive. Let every hole in my bag be closed in the name of Jesus. Rebuke the devourer for my sake. All nations will call me blessed, and I will be a delightful land. My gates are open continually that the forces (wealth) of the nations can come into my life. I am in league with the stones of the field. Let you showers of blessings come upon my life. Let my vats overflow. Let my barns be filled with plenty and my presses burst with new wine. Command your blessing upon my storehouse. Let my barns be full and overflowing. Let my sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands.Let my oxen be strong to labor. The plowman overtakes the reaper in my life, and the treader of grapes the sower of seeds, and I live in continual harvest. Let my floor be full of wheat and my vats overflow with wine and oil. Deal wondrously with me, and let me eat and be satisfied. Make peace within my border, and fill me with the finest wheat. Let me be filled with honey and the finest wheat. Lead me into the land flowing with milk and honey. Bring me into a good land without scarceness or lack. Make all grace abound towards me that I will have sufficiency in all things and abound to every good work. Anoint my head with oil, and let my cup run over. Let me have riches and honor in abundance. Let the rock pour me out rivers of oil. Let me dip my feet in oil. Let me see Your heaps in my life. I love wisdom, I inherit substance, and my treasures are filled. I receive riches and honor, durable riches, and righteousness. Bring honey out of the rock for me. Let me lay up gold as dust. Let me have plenty of silver. Let me inherit the land. I refuse to allow the angel of blessing to depart without blessing me.

We trust and lean on You our Savior and Deliverer, Lord, and Friend.

Amen
