HAPPY 10 MONTHIVERSARY, BLOGINTHENOW!!!

PM, my delay in response is mainly due to processing a lot of information recently. I am in complete agreement that not only did Jesus give us all the example of how to be the lord of our own lives but that we are indeed just that whether we make the conscious choice to be or not to be. I do understand SOZ 646pm post where he expresses his desire to escape the reality of being the lord of his own life, I have felt the same way many times. Donald is also right in this center of this reality when he said that it is our choice to use what is at our hands disposal. Donald, I add my agreement to all that you have what you have said plus a really big bag of chips.

Bishop’s teaching last night on dimensional realities was excellent to say the least and it brought back to my mind a dream that I shared a couple of body builder meetings ago. Pastor Chad Smith was presiding that day and part of his message dealt with quantum theory and parallel realities. Many of the other pastors there spoke in confirmation without realizing they were doing so and it was all coming into my mind from a child’s perspective. Those witnesses along with Holy Ghost confirmed that I should share the following details of that dream and then allow it to do what ever it would do.

The dream was extremely lucid with all senses working including smell which is rare.

I was driving home along the interstate from a project that I had been working on about an hour’s drive away. It was a warm and pretty day. I almost nodded off a couple of times so I readjusted myself in the seat to wake up but I had actually drifted off asleep and just dreamed that I was adjusting myself in the seat. I woke up with an adrenaline rush and was totally alert with the thought this had only been an instant and I could recover but just a few feet in front of me was a nearly stopped tractor trailer with brake lights on. There was not even enough time to apply the brakes. I could feel the air pressure increase from the impact and as if everything was in slow motion I experienced the sounds of crunching metal, breaking glass and my own voice saying O GAHhh… There was the distinct smell of brake fluid and a feeling of pressure on my whole body. The dream was beginning to end and, at the same time I was grateful for that feeling of relaxation, it dawned on me that this was not a dream and the relaxation was the passing away of my life. I woke up startled to be alive and simultaneously there was an audible voice that spoke a word I could not understand. It seemed to have one syllable but sounded similar to an old tape recording being rewound at a high speed.

It was not until body builders that the true reality came into my understanding. This had actually happened to me in a different dimension of existence. I understood what Paul referred to that Bishop mentioned again last night concerning his possible out of body experience. I do not know if this was another literal dimension or one within my own set of memories deep within my brain but it was as real as anything I have a memory of.

There is not much that can be said about this except that it caused me to reflect on other things that had been said at the bodybuilders meeting concerning children and our collective relationship to them as adult/parental figures. My soul is renewed in its approach to being honest and to share as much truth as I have with all that are in my present dimension. We are the lord of our lives and are answerable to the Lord of Life.

How I love to read what everyone posts . When I first started coming here, I was a bit unsure of what some had to say, and still am. But I am sure of this one thing. All who come here are seekers of the truth. I appreciate the passion with what you all express where you are at in your working out your own salvation. I also appreciate how all are open to the Holy Spirit for constructive correction in areas that need to be corrected. I often read of disagreements of beliefs, and how there very seemingly never seems to be a discord that ensues. May God bless the reasoning that takes place here, and may we all continue to walk in peace and love,
as we reson together.

10 months already. And yet, it seems like it's been around forever, too. Either way, the small community has certainly grown into a beautiful city. The diversity is what makes it so special. Bish, I appreciate you for founding it and keeping it viable with fresh revelation each day, I am fully aware it is no small task. And fellow bloggers, I appreciate you for keeping this venue of great insight and wisdom alive with your life-words.

SOZ,
I think I owe you an apology. I've never looked at your personal page until today. The word "female" hit me between the eyes as the memory of calling you Brother yesterday bounced around in my brain. If you're a girl, forgive me. If your not and just messin with us...you ain't funny.

JB,
Thanks for responding and I totally understand the processing process.
I certainly believe there are an infinite number of dimensions which include an infinite number of possibilities. We probably tap into more than we realize. I've always believed that is how Jesus brought healing to others. He either visualized them in their fullest potential of perfect health or actually changed their reality by placing them in a dimension where they never were sick at all. He then attributed the healing to the person by way of their own faith. This was confirmed in the wording of Matthew In The Now's accounts of the same.
As for your dream, I have no doubt you experienced another reality or as you said "a different dimension of existence". There is one other possibility but it might not be appropriate to mention it here. It has to do with memory of something that may have happened before...if you catch my drift.

Peace to All,
PM

It still trips me out that the scriptures in the Old Testament foreshadow the birth of Jesus. If these same words were in Luke---profound---but not earth shattering. God cannot be boxed in.

Dear Bishop Jim and Pastor Debye,

My wife, Angelika, and I really enjoyed being with you last night. That was our first Wednesday night service. What a profound, graduate-level course in living with God in the Now.

He truly intends for us to become Lords of Creation.

It was a delight seeing you both, and your mom and dad, and our brothers and sisters at CITN.

You gave a profound message about "Speaking, Understanding, and Reasoning." We need to practice that science of creating.

One thing I would like to hear more about is how to "unplug" and stop feeding those negative dimensions.

This morning I was reviewing the message and was reminded of a story by Napolean Hill, author of "Think and Grow Rich". His son was born without inner ears. He did not have the mechanical equipment to hear. Yet, his mother and father spoke a daily affirmation that he would hear. In his late teens, the boy DID BEGIN TO HEAR.

Keep speaking your dream and share it often. And be sure to send me a note when you go on Larry King Live, and on Oprah. I hope you'll have time to visit when you are traveling with the U.S. President, and bringing World Peace to the Middle East.

Again, it was great being with you last night. The presence of the Holy Spirit was strong in the sanctuary.

Peacemaker,

I can assure you I'm 100% dude! I must have accidently bumped the fem block when swapping photos out. Much Thanks.

Anon @ 12:16. That was a beautiful post. I agree.

Today I received an email from Nate Helm, who is the teaching pastor at Paradox. The flow of the letter reminded me very much of the EACH program and attitude. I've switched out PARADOX with CITN in the letter because I wanted to share and apply it here as well.

What we need to do here for the next few weeks we have in December is continue the momentum. We need to continue to invite people and bring an attitude of anticipation and excitement every week. Please, mark your calendars and block off Sunday mornings for attending our gatherings. During our Seasons of Service we had almost 50% commitment and participation
from our entire community which is AMAZING!!! That blows away statistics from typical churches (which is 10% do 100% of the work). I just wonder what CITN would look like on a Sunday morning if we experienced 100% participation, commitment, giving, singing, and actively engaging with the Spirit. What would that look like? Let's make every effort to make this idealistic dream a reality this month!!! 100% participation, 100% commitment to 1.5 hours (or as long as the Spirit leads - I added that) once a week on our Sunday gatherings, 100% participation in giving/generosity, 100% worshiping and singing together, and 100% obedience to what the Spirit is calling you to do. LET'S MAKE DECEMBER THE BEST MONTH EVER AT CITN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 10th a-month-a-ver-sarity err-ee-body, hic!

I don't talk about this much anymore because quite frankly it seems to me that it's self-patronizing, but I had an experience some time ago where I believe that I glimpsed one of those other dimensions.

I was taking a ride in an ambulance when I told the EMT that I was passing out. After I passed out I immediately (or at least it seemed that way) started feeling totally euphoric where I had only seconds before been in excruciating pain.

I didn't see any bright lights or anything that would have made me think I was seeing God, but I remember the feeling more than anything else. I can recall seeing movement as if it was people beginning to materialize before me. Everything that I saw was in black and white (as in an old TV show). Actually it was more like I was seeing things at dusk, right before it got completely dark.

I remember things getting slightly more clear as I remained in this state. But more than anything else, I cannot get over the feeling of complete and utter peace. It was as if evil had never existed in this place. It was as if nothing wrong had ever happened there before. I recall saying to myself while in this state, and I quote, "I really like it here, I don't ever want to leave."

Almost immediately after saying that, I found myself back in the ambulance and back in tremendous pain again.

I started having a different idea about heaven that day and really started wondering just how far away it really is. I'm still not sure what happened there. I know that according to the EMT, I flatlined and had to be shocked twice to get back to this dimension, but where I was during that "out" period remains a mystery to me.

Have any of you other folks ever been there and been able to figure any of this out? I would be interested in knowing.

And thank God there are no negative side effects to this event and I am probably in better shape now than I have ever been before.

Donald-just curious, i know it has been talked about here before-but have you read The Shack? Your comments just really reminded me of that. The guy in there has a very good resemblance to my perception of you. You may not read much, my hubby doesn't either, I actually read it to him being it is a quick read. I read ALOT, 2 or 3 books a week, books of all different types on a vast array of subjects-but I must say for whatever reason this one stuck with me. Not beautifully written, but a HUGE lesson about God's character and our perception.

Fascinating story Donald. I wish I had a similar one to share that didn't involve a pharmaceutical aide.
Months ago after hearing Bishop recommend What the Bleep do we Know! I am still intrigued by the possibilities explored in that film. I love the bathroom scene where we see a new paradigm appear before the main character. A life without these type of re-awakenings is a life most stale. Makes me wonder what's next? From glory to glory, what a great life!
In line with my posts the last few days I think of this. Just when we think we've got everything figured out, reality opens up some new display of God's awesome nature and creation. As much as I want to know , I love not having all the answers. I love the mystery in God. In fact I'm sure their is not one of us here who one day will not stand in utter amazement at what we thought was this and ended up being that. I've even heard it said that if you met yourself 10 years ago you probably wouldn't even be friends. Haha. That doesn't mean we are swayed by every doctrine of men that comes down the pike either, far from it. But I've got a feeing there's sooo much more in store for us all.
I've got a picture in my head right now where the army is lined up in Braveheart and right before they are catapulted into battle Wallace admonishes them with this decree.

Hooooold!!

Hooooold!!

Then all hell breaks loose as they crash through the enemy. That day is here and coming. Just hold on.

Tracy, The Shack, ain't it still so good!

Son of Zadok said...

Tracy you need to read Intra Muros: My Dream of Heaven sometime. You can order it online. I'm not so sure Heaven is just one place like a piece of land somewhere, but wherever Rebecca ends up in this book while deathly ill is a true glimpse beyond the looking glass. This book didn't survive the centuries for nothing I'll say that.
Mesmerizing stuff. Bishop have you ever read it?

Son of Zadok said...

I'm feeling chatty tonight people. While we're talking about books let me share with you what I'm reading now.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ

by Dr. Lynne Hiles

Anyone ever heard of it? It seems as if an entirely NOW interpretation of Revelation is being given to the church in this new age. The grasp of the book is that Revelation is not about the end of the world, but rather the revelation of Christ in each of our lives, in fact the whole Bible is a revelation of Jesus. Let me post a portion of what I read yesterday for your browsing pleasure, it blew me away! This book is page to page full of the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Let's take another look at Revelation 1:1, this time as it appears in the Amplified Bible.

(This is) the revelation of Jesus Christ (His unveiling of divine mysteries). God gave it to Him to disclose and make known to His bond servants certain things which must shortly and speedily come to pass in their entirety. And He sent and communicated it through His angel (messenger) to His bond servant John.

In several places in the book of Revelation (particularly as seen in the Amplified Bible), the message given to Jesus Christ is directed to "His bond servants." It's worth noting that the bond servant in the Old Testament is a unique individual. Exodus 12:5-6 says:

If the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an anvil; and he shall serve him forever

John is being directed to write Revelation strictly to the bond servants; in order for you to really understand this book, you must choose to be the bond servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your heart must decide to say, "I love my Master and I don't want to go out free; I want to be in service to Him." At that point, you must be taken to the door - the Jesus of John 10:7 who says, "I am the door of the sheep." You must have your ear nailed to the door. It is imperative that your hearing be filled with His voice. How fitting it is that John the Revelator, the one who leaned on the breast of Jesus, put his ear right on the door and listened to Jesus' heartbeat. He could then write several times throughout the book of Revelation ,"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches" (see Rev. 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22)

Now here's what really flipped my lid!

This is not referring the physical ear on the side of your head. You posses an ear that's been developed and tuned to hear spiritual things from the Door Himself. Let us have our ear nailed to the door as we continue this study in Revelation. It is highly possible that many of us have had our ear cut off by the sword of many well-meaning church leaders - like Peter in John 18:10 - people who use the sword wrongly and cause many to to not be able to hear what the Spirit is saying. However, I want to be like Jesus. In the same way that He healed the man's ear in Luke 22:51, I want to pick your ear up from the dust of human reasoning and reconnect your God-given ability to hear what the Spirit has to say to the Church.

Donald-

I know it is the presence of the Lord where we get these experiences. On occasion during services, the presence of God pulls me to another place, a place of extreme joy and belonging. Many times after pouring out about the Lord to total strangers in these "Godcidences" that seem rather frequent, I get such a euphoric sense of wholeness and rightness I can hardly stand it, to the point where I have called it "days of Heaven on Earth". I think that is what causes our eyes to be open looking for the next connection along the path.
Just yesterday, I went on an estimate to a lady's house and found out that she had just lost her husband to a sudden death from a heart valve problem.. She was one month younger than me I found out and her husband passed at the age of 53! I shared with her portions of my testimony and ended up chatting with her for 10 mins. or so. All the while, this sense of God's presence immediately in the midst was thick. Turns out, as "coincidence" would have it, she happened to live right next door to a lady I had worked with for 4-5 years, from 2002-2006 in my town of Snellville. The lady whose husband had died told me that my former co-worker and her husband were both out of work and that he had a surgery on his foot and probably was home(at 4pm). So, I told her I would be praying for her and went next door to see who was home.
Bill comes hobbling to the door with crutches, wearing a boot on his foot. After a year and a half he was surprised to see me but waved me in. Long story short, he had lost his Dad in April and his Mom several months ago! After an hour of sharing about life and death and God's hand upon our lives, Chris comes home and joins in. TOTALLY GOD, total amazing threads of conversation that continued on as Bishop spoke last night. Bill spoke about The Grinch, Charlie Brown's Christmas, also spoke about his Mom being taken off life support and over several weeks finally leaving the body- all things which have come up at Body Builders or church service! It's like I'm wanting to go over to a closet and open the door only to find the Holy Ghost is there orchestrating behind the scenes. Knowing that God is in these things brings His presence to me in a powerful way and feeds the future steps I take.

The day before yesterday, I'm at the bank having to see about having some NSF charges removed from my account- as an automatic transfer of funds came out that should have been cancelled last month but wasn't. The branch mgr comes over and offers to take a look and hear me out. As she's looking at my account, she sees Church In The Now on some of the bank statement and starts asking me about it. One thing leads to another and we end up talking about her divorce that her husband won't grant her and her relationship, kids, etc for 15 minutes! She was just pouring it out. She removes 3/4 of the charges(which was just mercy!) and I tell her it was just another God thing that we got together(she's a Catholic & believer). Now this girl's name was Nicole. As I'm talking yesterday to Bill & Chris, I mention the girl at the bank, Nicole and how she showed favor and mercy to me. They tell me she used to live right down the street from them and they know her!!! AMAZING!!! How does God do this stuff??? That is what gets me feeling "out-of-the-body" while in-the-body! Yahoooooooooo!!

Y'all be bigtime blessed!
