Yes, You Can!

COME TO THE EDGE

Come to the edge.
We might fall.
Come to the edge.
It's too high!
COME TO THE EDGE!
And they came,
and He pushed them,
And they flew.

- Christopher Logue

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]...To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
(Ephesians 3:20, 21 - AMP)

Just like the eagle! Momma pushes them out of the nest so they HAVE TO FLY(or die- so they might think!) but she is there flying down with them should they not be quite yet able. God is good, He knows the times & seasons.

Rest in the nest,
That is His request,
Until it's time to fly,
Don't question why,
Don't fear in yor heart,
Just do your part,
Spread your wings, trust,
He will give the thrust,
To lift you high above,
wrapped in His love....
Rest, rest, rest...

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Phillipians 4:6-7, Message

Word Ver: (Seriously!) BLESED!

Even though the wings seem broke, there's mending healing, not to be over looked.
As an eagle spreads her wings, new flight springs.
When you feel you can't make it, think of the eagle who's wings were broke. You may feel broken at times but you to will mend. Learn to look past your past and fly.
In HIM you can do all things.

Superabundantly...
Above what we dare ask...
The AMP version's addition of "dare" is cool. Above what I dare ask? Really?

I also like the tree in the pic. I've probably got too many Wil E. Coyote scenes in my head, with precipices cracking off at inopportune times. So the tree and the power of its roots to support and strengthen the shelf stands out to me. Very cool.

Beautiful. Spirit is speaking strongly in this area right now, to me anyway. Thanks for the witness.

Waaaaay past the edge
They did not fall
The fledgling few who felt Faith's call
Traversing wedge across
Logic's, THINK!...

Reminds me of the EAGLE pushing her babies out of the nest...and they soar---sort of like that with our children-
God is in control

YES. AMEN. NOW is the time to lay aside our percieved desires and let THE ONE move us (YOU) into what YOU have been destined to do. NOW is the moment to speak the words of THE ONE. NOW is the cumulative instant to move into the realm of futuristic, prophetic, and intimate exstention that YOU have been formed to act in. This NOW is where (and when) the pursuit if truth becomes the decision betweeen what is thought of as easy and what is deemed as sacrifice. As you (we) are thrust into a psotion of trust; there come a moment of realization where the awareness of THE ONE superceeds all of your (our) understanding...and in that second; that NOW is when, is where,THE ONE takes us...(YOU) to the deeper level of intimacy and says regardless of my fear I AM going to the greater place of existence...forever more dependent on THE ONE for even the very thoughts and words we tink and speak. ...TRUST IN THE ONE and know that You are led in the path of righteousness for his sake. You know I am with You to eternity.

"I Believe I Can Fly" - by R. Kelly

I used to think that I could not go on
And life was nothing but an awful song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I'm leaning on the everlasting arms

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

[1]
I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly

See I was on the verge of breaking down
Sometimes silence can seem so loud
There are miracles in life I must achieve
But first I know it starts inside of me, oh

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

[Repeat 1]

Hey, cause I believe in me, oh

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

[Repeat 1]

Hey, if I just spread my wings
I can fly
I can fly
I can fly, hey
If I just spread my wings
I can fly
Fly-eye-eye

Interesting that pastor Avery mentioned about Sanctuary yesterday. At 9am Sunday I posted this to Facebook..."You are His sanctuary, His holy ground...yes, you are." I was thinking about "sanctuary/home" all the way to church, so I thought that was cool.

"If God is on our side, who can be against us!"
