Bishop every time I click on and see you in standing in front of the Nile River it makes me think how much symbolism that has.
Example Here's a poem I wrote a while back

The River Flows

The river flows
Come from the east
Come from the west
Step into the river it is the best
Refreshed in the water that flows within
Come to the river once again
Rough times come
Rough times go
Step into the river and let it go
Peace is in you
Peace is in Him
Step into the river and call Him your friend
Flow with Him and you will see
All the things He’s called you to be
Fly out of the river like a dove
Flying to the vision up above
A light will shine from the Holy One
Showing that you have overcome
So step into the river it is the best
Refresh your soul and be blessed
The river continues to flow
Come to the One in which the river flows

Laura Benson
7-6-20007

He is the River that flows through us. When we are weak and weary we can come to Him and be refreshed in Him. He runs through us we are the side streams to those who still seek Him and we lead them into His stream. Just as a river has side streams that wildlfe drink from so are we the side stream's that give a taste of what the Father has for them.
Step into the River
It is the best
Refresh your soul and be blessed.

The Elijah Prayer--Oct. 13-20

I am back on the road again, currently in Atlanta on my way to Florida. I will be away from the office for nearly 3 weeks. I should have some time to do web logs and even to answer some emails from time to time, since I have my laptop with me. But some days will be filled either with travel or visiting people.

Thursday, October 9, was the Day of Atonement, called "D-Day" in an earlier blog. The Dow dropped another 679 points in a single day, on top of other losses for 8 days straight. The market is now down from over 14,000 a year ago to 8451 as of this past Friday. Now the government is thinking about "taking over" the banks. I think it should be thought of as a possible reverse takeover.

Actually, the stock market is so manipulated that it does not necessarily represent the real condition of the economy. Up to this point, though, I think the financial wizards have been trying to prop up the system by soothing words, and Wall Street tries to believe what they hear; but in the end, they realize that the soothing words are all wishful thinking. In the 1929 crash, government officials were offering soothing words up to the day of the crash--and afterward as well. After all, people demand "hope" from their leaders, not truth.

The true "hope" is the fact that God is not going to allow the little people of the world to continue to be enslaved by this Babylonian system, which is designed to flow money to the top people and keep the majority poor. The Kingdom of God is replacing Babylon even now, and though this may take some time to accomplish, it will surely come. That is our true hope, and it is also the truth.

Those who have learned to live by faith and to be led by the Spirit will come through this better than most. Such people are in the minority.

In the midst of any financial turmoil, there are always success stories. A "crash" does not affect everyone negatively. I think the present crash will be the same.

In Elijah's day, the drought lasted 3 1/2 years while he was in hiding. After the showdown with the prophets of Baal, he prayed for rain 7 days (Feast of Tabernacles), and the rain broke the drought. Drought in those days meant economic disaster. So I believe that after the Feast of Tabernacles this year we could see some "rain" in the forecast.

During the 7 days of Tabernacles this year (Oct. 13-20), I will be offering up a prayer for "rain" each day. Those of you who wish to join me in this prayer are invited to do so. Just call it "The Elijah Prayer." It does not require great effort or sweat or long prayer. It should, however, be a prayer of faith, knowing that God will answer this prayer. The prayer should be a petition that God will provide His people with all that they need to carry on the work of the Kingdom.

God knows what each person needs even before we ask, and each person's need is different. So the official prayer itself does not need to carry specifics, unless you wish to include some of your own personal needs. And, of course, you might include our ministry in your prayer as well. We have not seen any particular drop in contributions, but the need is great for the huge work that is ahead of us. I appreciate very much all of you who have supported this ministry, some of you for many years. But I believe the time has now come when the Lord will intervene in a new way that goes beyond your natural ability to provide. So when you pray for provision for this ministry, please don't think that I expect you to sacrifice further. On the contrary, pray that God will intervene in a more direct and miraculous way, as only He can do.

To Bishop and everyone here. I pray as you read the Scriptures this week, your genius and faith make it come alive in a fresh new way.

Water Walker,
Early this Morning, I couldn’t sleep the TV was on TBN, and Kim Clement was on. He says: some of you want to do something that has never, never be done before. He continues to say,you listen to the prophet wondering when your next adventure will come. But there’s treasures in your name that deeper than the sea of faithfulness. When, you say yes, you go it will be something that’s never, never has done before.
Will you go do something that you never, never have been done before? (God’s says: if you do something if you do, I’ll do that has never that’s never, never before in your life. He (KIM) continues to says something very deep, deep in your faith, and God will do something that never done before. I’ll do something in your life that never, never done before. A Supernatural Miracle, a New formed of Miracles.

Water Walker, I don’t know if this word is for you. But I do believe this prophesy has something in it for you. So, my brother, in the name of Jesus the Christ the SON OF THE LIVING GOD! I bless you this morning. May His love covers my brother/ sister, and know with out a shadow of any doubt, Jesus will do for you what He promise He will do. My brother or sister meditates on this word today, that there is a treasure in your name.

Good Morning, May His Love Cover You.

Wow, been away from the blog for a couple of days. All the entries are interesting to me in how they show diffirent views of the same thing. My own theological views differ from one time to another also. I believe it has always been in me to see the world at one with a loving God, enjoying the peace that passes understanding and sharing thoughts of praise for God .

My last entry was anonymous but not because of any disagreement from me with GPF. That entry read as follows;

"There is much value to the symbolic pouring of water into one bowl from diverse worshipers of God.

The water is a joyful form of worship that when directed to one God gives greater power to the love that is sought by all.

I also love the factual thought of Bishop having used the term water to describe the word of God to us."

My soul was overjoyed to see that day.

I suppose that anyone can take anything and make an argument out of it to suit their own agenda but to see all the beautiful, sincere people from different religions pouring their water into one vessel somehow is sweetly satisfying to me. That was a symbolism of friendship that reaches beyond the lack of inteligible words to describe our desire for understanding that we are all worshiping one God.

I am happy to be part of the unique idea that the unity prayer described so beautifully in John chapter 17 is actually something that can be a tangible reality.

I totally believe in the message and Author of that prayer.

It is good to be ourselves and at the same time give room for others to do the same. As being truly ourselves we can accomplish much more than by trying to be what we think others want us to be.

Thank you Bishop for being yourself in front of us at CITN. Your transparency before others is part of what is endearing to us and allows us to recieve the Word that you so love through your delivery. We all love the same Word and it is my belief that is part of what the world wants to see in real expressions of agape type love. I am a bit put out though that you didn't think about calling me as one of those on your list of friends that you would like to talk to when you were lonely. It is just as well because I would have been too busy at the time anyway. ha ha

uniquely one with all,

JB

Bishop, yesterday's word was so on point to me and I was blessed because of it. I don't know who left because they were not getting feed but i can't hardly contain it all. I find myself eager for more and more that i can't wait for Wednesday and Sunday. The love that i feel her is so overwhelming i have to pinch myself to make sure this is not a dream. God has indeed fulfilled his promise to me in that he has given me the garment of praise. I feel so free to do that here. Some may come and some may go but I'm staying put because I get the words of life within the walls of CITN from you Bishop and Pastor Debye.

This church has inspired me so that my book has finally been birth entitled "In Spite Of" an inspirational for women that have been misused and abused by men but in spite of it God is the answer and he still loves. It's at the publisher and will be out soon.

Well, OK... Bish, with your permission...

One reason why I (sometimes) don't blog much, is because one word usually begets so many more, that I get caught up in their currents.

You mentioned walking around the book store, alone, the other night & gave a humorous account of a situation that seemed initially bleak.

What made me laugh was how it tied together your teachings of logos & rhema words.

(Barnes and Nobles?)

C'mon, was God having Himself a knee slapper again? A book store would be a perfect place to commune with the Word. The man appearing with a meal reminded me Luke 6:38!

Something usual (not, "un" because this kind of stuff often occurs) happened recently.

Went to our fav restaurant & was greeted by a hostess who asked, "Don't you recognize me?" She'd previously worked in a beauty supply store. I was surprised to see her somewhere else, but bowled over when I saw her name tag.

It said, "America"!

Dear Anon 3:16,

First thank you for your obedience and your heart to minister and for the prophectic. A couple of things

I bless you for your labor in the spirit. I pray that in the name of Jesus, today you will have supernatural energy and that you won't realize that sleep you appeared to have missed last night.

As important, I bless Bishop, Pr. Debye, my CITN and today in particular this cyber-congregation for their prayers and words spoken over my life, a hundred fold back at ya, in Jesus name. You guys are awesome and you hear by the spirit and you get it.

Concerning 3:16 - John says...For God so loved the world that He gave...He gave...His only...Begotten Son. Anon 3:16 - thank you for giving and showing me love. You have a harvest.

And as important - 4) I receive that prophecy, every bit of it. Yes we have these treasures in earthen vessels

Your pray over me is in line with other prayers, God is perfecting everything that concerns me.

In this instance, He is totally leading and I do have my eyes in His eyes as He leads me to greener pastures for His good pleasure.

Lord you are exalted high above the earth. Blessed be the name of the Lord, You are an awesome God!

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!

LOVE, WATER WATER

Ugh, I hit the send key too early...than I go to look I type WATER WATER! I wonder what the symbolism is of Water...double Water. Jesus said, NOW are you clean through the washing..

Whew..what is up with that...Yes it is Water Walker, maybe I am in the boat now however I still can't see the shore, less I take my eyes off Jesus.

That's a luxuxy I don't have. But the journey in the boat is a nice break!

love ya,
Water Walker!

Can you stand another Izumism? The window on Noah's ark reminds me of the napkin on Jesus' face in John 20:7.

Also, Acts 10:11 & the GPF.

And another thing... a couple of nights ago, Colin (3 year old grand-son, for those who don't know) called, giggling hysterically.

We could barely understand his words, so he repeated, "Daddy rolled me up like a burrito and spiked my hair!"

Translation: He'd just gotten out of the bath tub.

I'm serious about that link to the Gary Sigler teaching entitled 2 Seeds. Bishop you serve it up twice a week, every week, like no other, but this teaching may be one of the best I've ever heard. If anyone desires understanding, this message does one of the best jobs I've ever heard of laying it out on the table. Give me some feedback if anyone listens to it.

Listen to the inward voice and bravely obey that.....this kind of brings me back to the discussion I had on here with myself the other day about how we(I) can cross over so quickly from belief into unbelief and it takes a little more time to cross in the opposite direction. It is so much easier to ignore that inner voice and be yourself, be who you really are, be who God called you to be. Why is that? Why are we so often like the waves tossed in the ocean-unstable in all of our ways? Some days you can have the worst day and totally deal and walk by faith. Other days you can just have a less than perfect day and fall apart at the seams. I am ready for that maturity level where nothing shakes me, where I stay hopeful. That is the inner voice that I want to follow, that is who I want to be. The one who listens to the voice of peace and knows no matter what it is going to be ok. How do we get there from here? I am amazed daily by how much of a baby in Christ I still am. The fact that one day I can see miracles manifested all around me and the next day (so quickly following) I let myself forget all about the miracles and walk in unbelief again? Aren't we a strange people? By the way my world is not falling apart, had a pretty good day actually....just pondering.

tracy said...

PS I think my point (if I had one) was that you can't REALLY be yourself and do that thing only YOU can do if you don't obey that inner voice.

Bishop-

Was just thinking about what you said yesterday about someone leaving the church "because they weren't being fed". Some ideas:

a) Just their time to move on
b) People sometimes don't eat because of "illness"- spiritual or otherwise.
c) New wine must be poured into new wine skins
d) Too much "meat" caused them to regurgitate
e) They wanted you all to themselves & felt neglected
f) Perhaps just someone else's sheep
g) Woke up on wrong side of the bed
h) Sun was in their eyes
i) Shoelaces were untied

...sometimes it's just an excuse...

Being in sales for the past 20 years I understand that many times people would rather give you a "white lie" rather than bare their souls with the low down OR hurt your feelings.

Bottom line is...all you owe them is to love them and them the same towards you. And as we say in sales...NEXT!

Simba: I know what I have to do. But going back will mean facing my past. I've been running from it for so long.
[Rafiki hits Simba on the head with his stick]
Simba: Ow! Jeez, what was that for?
Rafiki: It doesn't matter. It's in the past.
[laughs]
Simba: Yeah, but it still hurts.
Rafiki: Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or... learn from it.
[swings his stick at Simba again who ducks out of the way]
Rafiki: Ha. You See? So what are you going to do?
Simba: First, I'm gonna take your stick.
[Simba snatches Rafiki's stick and throws it and Rafiki runs to grab it]
Rafiki: No, not the stick! Hey, where you going?
Simba: I'm going back!
Rafiki: Good! Go on! Get out of here!
[Rafiki begins laughing and screeching loudly]

Bishop, that makes you the "comeback kid"!

Simba: You knew my father?
Rafiki: Correction: I KNOW your father.

It's all good!

Gas prices down, how about a market rally?!

Oct. 13 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks staged the biggest rally in SEVEN DECADES on a government plan to buy stakes in banks and a Federal Reserve-led push to flood the global financial system with dollars.

The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rebounded from its worst week in 75 years with an 11.6 percent advance, its steepest since 1939, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed more than 936 points.

I like it!

SO TRUE BISHOP OF WHAT YOU POSTED TODAY. THAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO DISCOVER YOUR UNIQUENESS IN GOD. SOMETIMES WE THINK WE HAVE TO BE LIKE SOME ONE TO FULFILL OUR DESTINY. BE YOURSELF, DISCOVER WHAT YOU DO BEST AND OBEY THE VOICE WITHIN. I DID THAT AND DISCOVERED THAT THE ONLY PLACE I CAN FUNCTION IN THE BODY OF CHRIST IS IN INTERCESSION. I STARTED TO PAY ATTENTION TO IT, PRAY MOST OF THE TIME, JOIN CHURCH PRAYER GOUPS, AND INDEPENDENT PRAYER GROUPS, GO TO PRAYER RALLIES AND A VISION FOR GLOBAL INTERCESSORY MINISTRY WAS LAID IN MY HEART. A MINISTRY WERE THE DEAD WILL BE RAISED AND ALL MANNERS OF MIRACLE TAKING PLACE AS PRAYER WILL BE GOING UP. I CARRIED THAT VISION IN MY BELLY FOR NINE YEARS BECAUSE JESUS SAID GREATER THINGS WE WILL DO. FINALLY TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE MINISTRY WAS BIRTH ON OCT IITH 20008 AND IS CALLED GOODNEWS FOR MY NEIGBOR PRAYER MINISTRY. WE WILL BE HOLDING MONTHLY PRAYER RALLIES AND WEEKLY PRAYERS. GOD IS LOOKING FOR WATCHMEN TO STAND OVER AMERICA, CITIES AND STATES TO DECLARE, 'THUS SAYS THE LORD' WHERE IS THE WORD OF THE LORD AT THIS CHALLENGING TIME? 'THUS SAYS' THE LORD CAN ONLY BE GOTTEN IN OUR PRAYER CLOSET. IT IS TIME TO PRAY, THIS IS THE SET TIME TO PRAY THE EFFECTUAL FEVERENT PRAYER OF THE RIGHTOUES WHICH MAKES TREMENDOUS POWER AVAILIABLE. LET THE SPIRIT OF SUPPLICATION COME OVER OUR CHURCH LEADERS, AND THE BODY OF CHRIST SO THAT WE MAY ARISE IN POWER AND DOMMINON AND BE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD LEADING PEOPLE OUT OF DARKNESS, INCLUDING ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL DARKNESS.
THIS CALL IS FOR TRUE AND MATURE WATCHMEN WHO WILL TAKE ISSUES FROM GLOBAL POINT. IF YOU HEAR THE VOICE WITHIN YOU LIKE BISHOP SAID, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS. LOVE MERCY.

Sarah (Hebrew: שָׂרָה, Standard Sara Tiberian Śārāh ; Arabic: سارة, Sārah ; "a woman of high rank") is the wife of Abraham as described in the Hebrew Bible (the Book of Genesis) and the Quran. The Hebrew word sarah indicates a woman of high rank and is sometimes translated as "princess" or goddess, or "high holy one".

Thank you for that Word today!!! I haven't had time to read much here the last several weeks ( Knee deep in school testing prosthetic making renal ultrasounds and adoption travel waiting etc....) The last couple of days I have felt like I was drowning in everything going on with my Z team and so not what these children God gave me needs. God is in control and this is what I am good at I can do this and help the others left behind. Thank you for that reminder. God is my source and my strength. In Him the weak are made strong.
On a side note please say a prayer for my little princess. She goes for kidney testing on wed. All of our kids were exposed to the melamine contaminated formula when they lived in China and she has had symtoms so they are checking her out. Next will be our son who is fine and our oldest when we get him home.
Thanks so much. I hope when things get settled I can get back to participating in these great discusions.
Blessings!!!!

Brave is the most comprehensive: it is especially used of that confident fortitude or daring that actively faces and endures anything threatening.

Courageous implies a higher or nobler kind of bravery, esp. as resulting from an inborn [avatar note: "reborn"] quality of mind or spirit that faces or endures perils or difficulties without fear and even with enthusiasm.

Valiant implies a correspondence between an inner courageousness and external deeds, particularly of physical strength or endurance.

Fearless implies unflinching spirit and coolness in the face of danger.

Gallant implies a chivalrous, impetuous, or dashing bravery."
