What do I want to be, you ask.
Now let me see.

What goals will I set in life?
For me to reach!

To what places will I travel?

What mysteries will unravel?

I don’t know all the answers.

I am still working on them you see.

I do know I can do and be anything
I can dream!

It’s time to take a look at yourself and declare to the person you see in your own mirror, “it can be done.” In spite of your personal history, in spite of the problem, in spite of the circumstances, in spite of what others say, “God can be touched by you.”

Over the River and
Through the Woods

Over the river and thru the wood,
To grandfather's house we go;
The horse knows the way
To carry the sleigh,
Thru the white and drifted snow, oh!
Over the river and thru the wood,
Oh, how the wind does blow!
It stings the toes,
And bites the nose,
As over the ground we go.

Over the river and thru the wood,
To have a first-rate play;
Oh, hear the bell ring,
Hurrah for Thanksgiving Day-ay!
Over the river and thru the wood,
Trot fast my dapple gray!
Spring over the ground,
Like a hunting hound!
For this is Thanksgiving Day.

When I was a kid,Thanksgiving cards were always the reminder, that Christmas was just around the corner.

If the dreaming ever stops, it's over.
So I pray I'm still dreaming, at a hundred, or more.

If I can think it and I can make it, then you can buy it and you can take it.

It only takes one step to get moving towards where you want to go. Once you take the first step, your story has begun.

TRANSFORMATION of the Mind serves a Far More Excellent Purpose than a Reformation, for when the mind is completely transformed at the root level, we do not exhaust our energies on Behavior Modification, which is a FIX instead of a CURE...

Saturday Morning
15 November 2003 @ 0745 Hours

The Sons and Daughters of the Most High God are required to extend their steps and broaden their scopes, says GOD. They who desire to excel in the purposes and precepts of GOD are hereby required to shake off all dead things that attempt to bind them and prevent them from my greater glory and perfect will for their lives. I may use them mightily, yet they first must totally surrender all their ways unto me- for I am their ultimate spiritual authority and headship, while undergoing intense consecration to become willing, empowered, and purified vessels by way of the Holy Ghost, declares the Lord of Hosts. I will not pour new wine into old wine-skins, says GOD. All of my people must submit to me by way of the Holy Spirit for renewing and healing of the mind. Therefore, they are not be conformed by the ways of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds- which includes new attitudes, new ideas, new mindsets, and new covenant partnerships. SELAH…

Rid yourselves and purge your spirits of all unfruitful things and attachments by total submission unto the Holy Spirit, says GOD. Surely, if my people are unwilling to shed that which is dead, then they cannot receive new life and livelihoods. Dearly beloved, in all things, I desire for my people to prosper and be in good health and soundness of mind, especially as their soul prospers, proclaims GOD. Those who stand up as the righteousness of GOD and operate in my ways shall no longer settle for mediocrity and complacency. When there is a desire to achieve and receive what they have never had, the people must be willing to do what they have never done before! How can they expect to achieve different results if they continue to utilize the same tactics and measures that have proven unfruitful before? In me, says GOD, there is newness and renewal everyday. So, prepare thyself for greatness by calling everything into alignment with the Holy Spirit, says GOD.

Foremost, there must be a thorough assessment and analysis conducted to facilitate maximum effectiveness. SELAH... After a particular goal is assessed, then a sound business plan must be established, and later implemented. However, before the plan is implemented, it must be reassessed for holes and wise counsel should be sought out by way of the Holy Spirit, so that things which have escaped my peoples’ eyes, will be brought to light by the wise counsel. Write the vision and make it plain, believe GOD for provision, execute the instructions of the Holy Spirit, facilitate the vision through the directions of GOD, fertilize the works with the word of GOD, while trusting GOD for the increase and planting seeds of faith for the vision. Last, but not least, praise GOD before the seeds yield the harvests. When the harvests arrive, devote the first and best part unto GOD, sowing as the Holy Spirit leads, and share testimonies with others, says GOD. Allow the words of the mouth and meditation of the heart to prove pleasing and acceptable to me at all times, declares the Lord of Hosts. Pray without ceasing and forget not that the Lord your GOD brought all the vision to fruition with excellence!

Tell the truth and shame the enemy. At all times, dear people, keep your ways upright before GOD and humanity. A person cannot live by bread alone, but through every word that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD. Physical bread feeds a person’s body, but spiritual food-, which is the awesome Word of GOD, allows a person’s soul to flourish. In all getting, says GOD, seek to gain understanding so that none will be left ignorant or in the dark.

My promises are always yes and amen unto they who are obedient, humble, and pure at heart, declares the Lord of Hosts.

I love this saying! I am amazed at how one saying can have a lasting impact on your life. I will never forget a saying that my 9th grade Civics teacher told us that impacted my life. I don't know who said it, and can't quote it exactly, but it is something like this:

People with small minds talk about other people.

People with average minds talk about events.

People with great minds talk about ideas and concepts.

Many times I remember that when I'm in conversation and it changes things. It helps me rise to a higher level in my deeds and actions.

Your picture with the quote is a great reminder and will help in my walk with the Lord today!

It was my Grandfather Lincoln that taught me the old adage “whether you think you can, or think you can’t; you are right son” he used to say; I found that this is so true. This also reminds me of an old TV commercial that said “a mind is a terrible thing to waste” . I think we have “UNLIMITED” resources and potential right behind our eyes; as we were created in the image and likeness of an unlimited almighty God! All that we need to achieve our greatest desires is stored up in the vast storehouses of our minds. Just waiting to be released through the spoken word sent out with faith by the blast of the Spirit. I see many storehouse doors blowing open even now! There is corn in Egypt.

I love the new blog theme and picture. I love Christmas time for many reasons. I would suggest putting a little red in it to make it even more christmasee; maybe the blog title font in the picture; and the post titles. Also the blog title is to large to fit in the picture. Maybe you could reduce the font there.

I hope you don’t feel that I am intruding. I love to design things, it’s just part of me and it naturally comes out.

Merry Christmas,
With Thanksgiving,

The picture of the old farm house with barns and out structures covered with snow sent me to one of my favorite childhood memories of an Appalachian Christmas gathering of family and friends at my maternal grandparents home.

There were enough people singing around the old upright piano to form a choir with another group big enough to make an audiance around them and there must have been angels holding the floor up or it surely would have collapsed.

There are memories of much laughter in long lines of us kids waiting to be served from what seemed like caldrons of food in the kitchen.

Christmas day was the most exciting time of my childhood memory. Most of us kids had slept in the unfinished upstairs area where there were six beds that some of our parents had slept on as kids. It was not heated and there was no insulation or even any ceiling in the area. We were grouped in twos, threes and sometimes fours under several heavy quilts that my grandmother had made, we were warm and slept like little bears as one Uncle put it. Another Uncle who roused us from our warmth and comfort said we looked as snug as bugs in a rug.

I was already awake from the smell of bacon, smoke cured ham and apples mixed in with a hint of smoke that would sometimes escape from the wood burning cook stove.

Getting out of bed was like a chaos of kids in a race to get clothes on and get to the wash room and/or outhouse. The contrast of our warm beds and the stimulating cold of our rooms was also a motivator to get downstairs where there was heat from the cook stove and another wood burning heat stove in the living room.

There is the memory of ice that had formed on the inside of the up stairs windows probably from the condensate of our breathing during the night and another unusuasl scene of my Dad standing in the snow outside in front of a mirror propped on a shelf attached to one of the out buildings. He was shaving and would occasionally dip his razor in a bowl of steaming water. There were people everywhere and more arriving throughout the morning.

The Aunts and Uncles had all brought gifts to the children that were wrapped and placed under a wintergreen Christmas tree across the living room from the heater. The room had Christmas cards all over it from people that were there and many more who were not. They were pinned or taped to the door ways and window trim on every wall. Then came time to open the gifts.

Our Uncle Hardin had given the kids a plastic toy that really captured the attention of my six year old mind. It was called a doodle bug. It had a row of suction cups in a wheel arrangement inside of it set on gearworks attached to a pullstring that when pulled made them rotate and the bug would crawl on the floor. Uncle Hardin showed me how to wet the suction cups in the wash room and then when you pulled the string it would climb window panes and some of the walls. It would even crawl on the skin of my arm which felt ticklish. One of my girl cousins didn't like it very much when I put it on her arm but that might have been because I wet it by licking it.

I could continue listing memories from that Christmas but will end by sharing the memory that every face that year was filled with joy and warmth and the most light that filled the atmosphere came when my Grandfather asked my Dad to pray over one of the meals. The room fell silent and my Dad's prayer was humble in asking forgiveness followed by thankfulness for mercy and grace. I only remember that part based on the pattern of Dad's prayers throughout my life but what is deep in my memory is the exchange of warm spirits between the one being asked to pray and the follow up amen of the one asking that made the whole room as brilliant as daylight and the smiles on every face even more joyful than before.

There could probably be a book written on why being asked to pray meant so much to my Dad but it can be summerized in one phrase; reconciliation produced by the presence of Holy Love.

The following spring my sister Anita and I recieved Jesus in our hearts during a family devotion being led by my Dad.

Much has happened since but it is my soul's expression to use the power of words that say there is nothing greater than extravagant Love and through all perceptions of good and bad words that have come from me the only ones that have any ability to abide are the good ones. Where ever there has been an utterance coming from me that could produce anything other than warmth and joy to another, it must fall into unfruitfulness in the name of the empowered One whom I have learned to call Jesus, Who transcends that name familiar to those taught it as the One, Who both created and perfects all that is Life.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and a very merry Christmas season,

I put this on my blog and I just had to share it with you all.

On the blog I added some evocative and vividly forceful pictures to drive the point home.

This is an uncomfortable subject but much need honest look at what is commonly accepted by traditional christian doctrine.

This is what Thomas Kissinger wrote on the Berean forum this morning.

When I was talking with a friend the other night about God's ability
to reconcile all things to Himself, it was as though I received yet
another revelation from God as to how to expose the false teaching of
eternal punishment.

It came to me like this...CHILD ABUSE!

Yes...that's right...child abuse. The church of Jesus Christ (for the
most part) teaches and promotes child abuse. As a matter of fact,
they claim that their Heavenly Father is going to eternally abuse
well over 95% of the human race for ever and ever.

When I was talking to my friend I asked him some simple down to earth

Like...Would you torture your child for ever? Would you torture your child for a long time? Would you torture your child for even 1 minute? Of course his answer was a resounding NO!

This is where the disconnect takes place with Christians. They are approving a certain behavior for God (eternal torture), but saying
that that same behavior is absolutely out of the question for us as
humans. Now...wait a minute. I thought we were supposed to become
like the Lord? If it is good and right for God to eternally torture
unbelievers, then it should be good and right for us to torture
people as well in the name of the Lord. Do you see where I am going?

God stated in His own LAW that it was a disgrace (vile) to beat someone over 40 stripes. Now...The church is teaching that God is
going to eternally beat (so to speak) billions of people for ever and

If I was to beat my son continually until I broke through his skin
and he started to bleed, and then I countinnued to beat him over and
over again for about 15 minutes and someone walked in my house and
saw me doing this, just what do you think they would do? I will tell
you what they would do. They would call the police and I would be
locked up for child abuse.

How utterly ridiculous and unscriptural is the teaching of eternal
punishment! Surely we are living in a day when many will be awakened
to the greatest lie ever told - eternal punishment.

Thomas Kissinger

But I figured out that you could right click on the video and select "zoom" then "full screen" escape key will get you back to normal

If this doesnt work, you may want to go to your "default" programs and change your media player to "windows media player"

Hope that helps.

Disraeli's quotes are often used in the Cryptoquotes.

A Call in Action to Our Intercessor Prayer Warriors!

Let’s Pray for God’s will and our will be done (Matt 26:42) for this BLAZING FIRE taking place right now in Montecito California.
It’s been reported the Firefighters are struggling to get control of this raging wildfire. This fire destroyed more than 100 homes and 13 people reported been hurt.
These Mediterranean style coastal towns have been home to celebrities. From Charlie Chaplin to Oprah Winfrey!

It is the high prerogative of God that everything in heaven and earth is to be done according to His and as the fulfillment of His desires.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you with thanksgiving and with praise, giving you the glory that is due unto your name.

Father, in Jesus name, we thank you that your Word is true! (Heb 6:18) your Word, O Lord is forever settled in Heaven. Psalm 119:89 we thank you Father that your Word is QUICK, and POWERFUL, and SHARPER than any two-edged sword.(Heb 4:12) Your Word shall not return unto you void, but your Word shall accomplish that which you please, and it shall prosper in the thing where to you sent it. SO SHALL YOUR WORD BE! (Isaiah55:11) Father you said in your Word, thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee. (Job 22:28)

Father in Jesus we plead the Blood of Jesus over the people of Montecito California. We plead the Blood of Jesus over the Mayor of the city of California. We plead the Blood of Jesus over California Government.

Father, in Jesus name, causes many this Day to hear your voice to come of out darkness into your Marvelous Light…. Cause many this Day to turn from darkness to Light.

Oh, Father, give the people of California Seeing Eyes, Hearing Ears, and Understanding Hearts. We pray for Hearing Ears TODAY…. That many will hear Your Voice, and harden not their hearts! Take out stony their hearts Oh God. Give them hearts of flesh in Jesus in name.
Stir up hearts to call upon your name. Stir up the minds of the people. Father, cause the Voice of the Good Shepherd to be heard throughout the city. The cry of the Spirit is that men should repent. Father stirs the people to HEAR and REPENT and TAKE HOLD of you. Cause the of hearing the Word of God to cease…. That many will Hear, Repent, and be saved by the Blood of Jesus.
Father, deliver this California from the desire of the enemy, that the enemy will not sift the city of Montecito Calif. As wheat, because we are standing in the gap and making up the hedge that your Will be done in Montecito Calif. even as it is in heaven.

Deliver Montecito Calif. with a mighty hand and with a STRETCHED OUT ARM from every snare of the enemy.

Your voice oh Lord is Powerful. Your voice is full of Majesty. The voice of the shaketh the wilderness. Psalm 29
We loose the spirit of REPENTANCE. We bind all opposing forces in Jesus name.
Let God Arise. Let His Enemies Be Scattered I Montecito California!!! Psalm 68:1

Wikipedia says: Although born of Jewish parents, Disraeli was baptised in the Christian faith at the age of thirteen, and remained an observant Anglican for the rest of his life. At the same time, he was ethnically Jewish and believed the two positions to be compatible. A famous quote of his response to an anti-semitic snide remark by a British politician runs as follows: "Yes, I am a Jew, and when the ancestors of the right honorable gentleman were brutal savages in an unknown island, mine were priests in the temple of Solomon."

Hey everybody!

Good point Pastor Dennis. Some of you may have heard this before, but it's something I've always remembered. Did you know that it's been proven that even the most callous people in history have only been able to torture someone for a few hours before they literally become sick in their body. Interesting how God has hardwired us to only be able to dole out so much punishment to each other, and yet He is going to eternally torture, hmm, what's the estimate now, 155 billion people who've lived on Earth and had no traditional Christ experience. It's pure madness! The doctrine of "Christianity" at large violates the conscious of all mankind. Thank God for ministries like this and each one of you who are shining the light in the darkness.

I, too, love the wintry scenes! Nothing like the ol' Courrier & Ives or Grandma Moses paintings- just brings out such wonderful memories & feelings of the snowy scenes of yesteryear. In Upstate NY you could have a nice blanket of snow by Thanksgiving; always looked so forward to the first snowfall of the year- almost as fun as listening for Santa up on the roof! Great story JB- I feel ya!

Perhaps this year with many people feeling the sting of lost value in houses, stocks, IRAs etc., there will be more attention paid to the traditions that made this country great- family, home, thoughtful gifts & loving sentiments shared instead of stowed. God has blessed America and it will only be great as long as the people understand that "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."

Remember the loaves and the fish.

There will be seed to sow & bread to eat.

"Leave your idols & idle pursuits and follow me." I believe this is a word for our country. "If you will not be led, how do you expect to lead." "Follow us as we follow Christ" should be our sincere imploration.

Have mercy on us Lord, according to your unfailing love, blot out our iniquities and save us from our sin. Lead us in the paths of righteousness for your namessake.
Shower down, shower down, shower down upon us with your grace Lord, strengthen us, guide us, help us.
