Nice Touch!

"And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him,
turned around in the crowd and said, ‘Who touched my clothes?'"
(Mark 5:30)

Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I am in direct contact with my Source and Creator; God has touched me, and I can touch God! He knows my name, hears me when I pray, and cares about what is happening in my life today. My strength to live this day successfully comes from His unique touch – His hand is on my life, and He is with me in every step I take!

Today I will not live an isolated life. Others have touched me, so I will reach out in unselfishness to someone who needs my touch today. I will not let the activities of the day cause me to become insensitive to those in my life who may be lonely or hurting. I will take some time out of my schedule, and invest it in a real, personal connection with that one who is in need.

Today I will touch someone in a positive way, because I know that using negatives, on myself or others, will not get me the results that I'm looking for. Negative interaction and response will only bring a multitude of new problems into my life (like depression, rebellion, division), so I will overcome evil with good today, and will walk in the God-kind of love that never fails.

Today I will take comfort in the knowledge that Jesus, my High Priest is touched with the feelings of my humanity and weaknesses. His empathy for me enables me to be emancipated from unrealistic expectations for myself and for others. Today I will live and let live.

Today I will not let myself become cynical and unfeeling, but I will remain reachable – in touch with my emotions . . . caring . . . in touch with the real world.

Today I will touch the throne of God by praying effective, genuine prayers in line with His Word and His will. My prayers will avail much because I am righteous!

Today I will give something back. I will freely give because I have freely received, recognizing the significance of reciprocating — the sowing and reaping principle — leaving something for the next generation — leaving the world in a better condition than the one in which I discovered it. I will do my part. I will do what I can. I will touch someone with my life today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to stay in touch with You today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

A little off the current subject matter....

I don't know if I'm looking too much into this but did anyone else see anything somehow prophetic about some strong winds and a mighty storm happening on what is now yesterday....yesterday being Pentecost Sunday that is......

God's Spirit is still brooding...

Any takers?

Bishop:
What a great declaration to start today!

Sometimes the passionate levels of my expressions of beliefs (and my drama) are such that true intentions fall short of the God-Kind of Love you exemplified.

So, in this early hour - Today I will touch someone, listen to someone, encourage someone, have compassion for someone, and pray for someone; also praying that my actions and words are according to His will.

Thank you - I really needed a fresh, now start to today.

Love,
mayam

Yes, Teezy.... I started to write about that very thing yesterday, but never got back to it..."First the RAIN, then the WIND! Was it just in Conyers, GA, or did the city "get wind" of the great things going on here?"... and the wind is still kickin' it a bit this morning too!

Reaching out..seeing all the pictures of the hands... does anyone else remember the events back in the late 70's early 80's...don't exactly recall the name, but in FL I remember a "Reach on the Beach" where people gathered, hand in hand for what seemed forever...

Good morning bloggers,
When I think about it, the power that God put in a simple touch amazes me. Just to think of all the ways that the laying on of hands is used to transfer power, healing, blessing, love, comfort, miracles, and even the magnificent Holy Spirit of God Almighty! People have been healed by a touch, given power and authority to minister, filled with the Spirit, had their eyes opened to see physically as well as spiritually, revelations of things to come, wow when I think of it; the power that God chose to put in our hands – literally. Then why do we not use this divine gift more often, God knows the world around us needs it. I think He is wondering Himself why in the world are they not using it more? I mean it’s not like it is hard to do. I am going to make a commitment today to use this wonderful gift of the Spirit more. I am going to set my mind that I have the power of God within me to convey blessings and grace for all occasions from the kingdom of God that is within me to others in need around me. The Spirit just told me “even whether they realize what you are doing or not” Hmmm. Touch touch touch, spread the kingdom around everywhere you go to all that you meet – when the Spirit speaks to me I will reach out and touch someone.

I saw a program on the discovery channel I believe it was that showed how they had somehow taken pictures that showed energy of some sort being transferred from a human hand to other living things, even the leaves on plants. It was amazing, the scientists were stumped, and they did not have an explanation for it. I think we do!

Peace,
As I see it,
Dennis

God's Wings

A little something to put things in perspective. An article in National Geographic provided an interesting picture of God's wings. After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park, forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage. One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree.

Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother's wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the smoke would rise.

She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies. When the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast... Because she had been willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." (Psalm 91:4)

Being loved this much should make a difference in your life. Remember the One who loves you, and then be different because of it.

What a great representation of the Holy Spirt, the wings of God. The protector, and helper.

I had to share this story, it spoke so strongly to my heart, I hope it has blessed you as well.

Hi Bishop,
The service was so on it for me on yesterday, I could just feel the flow of the Holy Spirit like I have never felt it before, so freeing, so refreshing. Back at my church I was an ordained minister and I have a degree in biblical studies but never have I had the word opened up to me as you expound on them. For ten years I have been praying for a move of God in my life because I knew there had to be more to church than I was getting. I was smiling and ministering to others but inside me I was hungering for something that I could not explain to anyone. The others on the ministerial staff could not understand and thought I was at the height of my game but they didn't know I was dying inside. Although I would have wished the cup of Cancer had passed me by but God worked a great work in me through it. As the chemo killed the cancer cells the Holy Spirit began to work on my spirital cells and led me to Church in the Now to sit at the feet of you and let the refreshing rain fall upon me. Now I know that there is more to church than I was getting and there is more to God than I was seeing. I'm grateful for the church I was in for so long because it laid a foundation for me to want more, now I know that I'm not finished for there is still much work to be done in the city. My mom says I will regret it because everyone knew me in the old church and my talents was made to shine but I know that she don't understand bless her heart but I know that my life has just begun and my talents will always make room for me. I an nothing without him anyway and anything I did or was able to do I lay it all down to sit at his feet and drink the refreshing waters that you give to us each Sunday and Wednesday night.

This is OT but it goes with reaching out. Several of my friends are in China right now adopting their children. They are in the heart of the earthquake epicenter. Many of us have children there waiting for us to get there for them. A person on my adoption group who is in China now said everything is closed up expecting another large quake to hit. Please pray for them to be safe at peace and that our children are safe. We are trying to find out if any of the orphanages have been affected and what we can do to get them help. Thanks everyone.

Great observation, Teezy! It hadn't occured to me. It was breezy here in SC yesterday too, and I kept thinking, "what is UP with this wind?!?"

Are any of you streamers having trouble viewing, or should I just sling my sorry computer against the wall? (actually, it's NOT a sorry computer... which only serves to baffle me more) Not only can I not see you all (MANY months now), but it seems lately that Streaming Faith is going in and out on me. Tried to listen yesterday, but finally just got fed up!

Anyway... another day... new, bright, beautiful... at least I can blog!

Blessings to all of you on this happy Monday :)

This is my first time on the blog...Yesterday I spoke in tongues for the first time. I went home and reread acts chp. two again. I had my window up lastnight as i read it, and it was very windy....call it what you will...but it was a different wind that came into my room, it felt like a sheet had covered me....and buddy out of my mouth I started speaking a different language! Everything that I have been praying for in my natural tongue I spoke it in the spirit. It will come true (or to past) for me...not just me all of us who are in Covenant with CITN. Then the vision of this dove came to me with big, widespread, beautiful wings hovered over my bed with rays of white lights shinning over me as laid in my bed. Everywhere, I went i was covered by this dove rays of beauty. A great man told me this last sunday "A man is no fool to give up that, which he cannot keep. In order to gain that, which he cannot lose."

The prophetic words that have been spoken on this blog are WAY TO REAL. I still can't explain all of the things going on in my NOW, but I want to thank the Holy Spirit for revealing to me what I am going through and keeping it real that I am not alone. I have to read this blog to make sure I am in the flow. Yes, the winds of change was blowing yesterday and I can feel that something new is being birthed. Today is a refreshing flow of newness that is unexplainable. For all of the fellow bloggers, please lift my wings today and pray in the spirit that all things will work for HIS good and through this storm I will be able to give HIM the GLORY.

Love to all...and I am sorry I don't want to make this all about me. I'm sure there are others that are experiencing the Winds of Change.

---peace, lhollow

teezy,
you are right!i've felt it too, thinking it was my imagination
run big on me.I believe the Holy Spirit is saying here I am take a hold on Me.I'm here in the midst of you, reaching out to touch you.I'm making Myself be known to those of you, that's yearning to have a relationship with Me.

As Bishop pointed out from the yitn
"reach out to touch someone".Yes!we should. But,what don't we reach out,and touch the Holy Spirit that's live in us today? As we do reached for HIM/HER,we will also learn how to reach out, to those that needs a kind words;those that needs us to listen. We'll do it gracefully with an open heart. Because of the Holy one.
So, Today let's not only reach out to someone, but, let's reach our inner-self out.(Which I think is the Holy Spirit in us)To be kind to us,then,we can be kind, encourage, compassion,to others.
Let's Love and Forgive ourselves first.
Peace & Love

I had a vision of a dove, with wings big and widespread over my bed, with white rays of beauty, shining over me. Every where I went, the wings was hovering, there was no where I could go without him/her letting me know he/she was there. All,

Wonderful morning, sorry I missed y'all yesterday...

Happy belated Mother's Day to any one I missed after service yesterday. I wish I could have heard P. Debye's word and prayer(Spirit Mom). I hear it was awesome of course. I was drafted into nursery duty yesterday. (Interesting after working with teens for so long, I must say). I wish it all would have been on the cd.

Awesome word, Bishop. I listened twice, and what a great new perspective for me... I'll listen a couple of more times today.

I love the "touch" word today. I am one of those "hugger' people. It seems that I can always feel an exchange between myself and whomever I touch. Their and my energies passing from one to another, with each of us receiving just what it is we need from the other, with the Spirit as a conduit between us. I know that some people don't like the hugging thing, but if that's you, be open!! You might just give or receive something that you don't even know you have or need.

Teezy...excellent...

Dennis... cool...

Neat how we all "touch" each other here with just our words, thoughts, and prayers, like our keyborads are connected and every keystroke is actually a "touch" connection between us.

Much Love...

Amen, Brenda.

I too felt the flow of the Holy Spirit on yesterday in such a sweet peaceful way.

We bless you, H.S; The Holy Spirit is all and yes He is beyond a father and a mother, he is a source, the source, the creator, a advocate, a friend, an advisor, a navigator and He is simply amazing. We can't live without you, nor would we want to!

Pastor Debye, back at ya, many blessings! You are so prophetic and energetic and passionate and we love and bless you as well!

Welcome to Pastor Ben! We prayed traveling mercies for you and we thank God for answered pray!

To Bishop, I have heard so many teachings on the ghost and I love them all. Yesterday was special and there was great liberty and I say, keep them coming as often as possible! We agree with you and will continue to pray the visions God has given you to fruition.

To my BITN bloggers, even when time doesn't permit me to blog, I blurk, but respectfully acknowledging your genius, your mind of Christ, that which is holy in you! BITNer's, you rock!

To the graduates...you only just begun, you sons and daughters. Let the river run... May the Lord go before you and mercy and goodness follow you all of the days of your life!

WE the redeemed of the Lord, say so, we forgive the world...

Peace and blessings.

Oh, Dennis, what you done said!
"I think He is wondering Himself why in the world are they not using [the power of touch] more?"
I can imagine Him wondering that too!

Then you said, "I am going to SET MY MIND".
[my first God-thought today was to SET MY MIND ON THE THINGS ABOVE!--I had NOT awakened with "this is the day the LORD has made" on my heart. I had to consciously SET MY MIND, set my mind, set my mind! Actually, I sense it was a test.

then you followed with: "that I have the power of God within me to convey blessings"---Spirit of God just told me 'even whether they realize what you are doing or not' Hmmm."

This brings to mind--"Left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing". It is interesting to place this scripture in the context of "all are one".

The right hand (the hand of authority) knows what it is doing, whether the left hand does or not. And the left hand will get to work doing what it is designed to do, because the right hand, aware of its authority, touches--and gives life wherever it does!

Teezy, g8trgrl, dgm (and now I see others)--me too. The storm in the heavens is here. And KimClement is on Mt. Carmel today.

Tom, I did notice your c3po and r2d2 the other day--and your red rose for your Mom. (smile)

Bishop Swilley and the gang,hi.

Everybody needs to be touched.Everybody needs to know they matter and are special.Sometimes words just don't do,sometimes we all need a hug.

Reading your post Bishop,I was reminded of Mark 1:40-45 were Jesus heals the leper.Leper's by the very nature of the disease they have are outcasts, seperated from society and human contact.Jesus ignoring all of this and the Law reaches out and with compassion touches him and makes him clean.I think one of the biggest problems in the Church as a whole is our lack of compassionate are unwilling to reach across barriers and touch people in the condition they are in.

Peace and love to everyone.

Bishop-Today's YITN is beautiful.
So are the pictures

Here's a touching story...
Be blessed_--------------
Nancy

A newborn's conversation with God

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'

The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'

Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'
'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'

'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking her life.'

'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'

God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'

I plea the BLOOD over Ethan and say that by HIS stripes he is healed. I pray that the name of all things negative must bow to the precious name of JESUS. That his health speed forth speedily and he will experience a miraculous recovery. Lord , please give peace to the mother and family of this young baby and I set my agreement of faith that all will be blessed. Holy Spirit wrap your wings around this family and give them the courage to believe that all things are possible regardless of what may or may not have been spoken. This entire blog today is written about the winds of the Holy One, let the spirit of God blow in through the hospital and provide healing, comforting, and peace that HE hears all requests we make to him and that if we ASK and believe we receive HIS will be done. Lord we also agree and lift up the other prayer requests that have been listed here and we extend our prayers to the requests that have not publically been made known. With all of the these things Lord we ask that your will be done and we thank you for your holy spirit to be with us and comfort us in difficult times. We thank you for that peace that passes all understanding and the confidence that comes through once we feel the blanket of you spirit cover us like the arms of our mothers.
In Jesus name,
Amen!
I certainly hope that was in the flow and received with love.

Good evening everyone,
Been reading all the post - great stuff.

Avatar, we are definitely tuned in to the same channel......

elle, I too have trouble with the streaming sometimes. Its great one minuet then stops and comes back then becomes excellent. I don’t think it is my equipment or ISP; I am running at a full 1.5 mb with a E2140 intel pentium dual core processor, 2GB DDR2 memory. 1GB dedicated memory for video with a EVGA GeForce 8800 GT 1GB PCIe 2.0 video card and flat panel monitor.

So don’t throw your PC at the wall yet.

I don’t want anybody to get me wrong, CITN on streaming is still by far the best thing on streaming you can get anywhere. I will put up with the rickety table because the food here is superb.

Peace,
Dennis

"Today I will not live an isolated life. Others have touched me, so I will reach out in unselfishness to someone who needs my touch today. I will not let the activities of the day cause me to become insensitive to those in my life who may be lonely or hurting. I will take some time out of my schedule, and invest it in a real, personal connection with that one who is in need."

Amazingly no sooner had I read today's inspiration just before leaving work, I received a telephone call from someone who desperately needed to feel someone cared and loved her. She was in a very hopeless place emotionally and told me that "she needed someone to love her." I told her that she was not alone because God cared about her and loved her very much. The Holy Spirit gave me the words to say to her as we talked a long time and I found myself praying with her. It was so humbling for me and also freeing. I knew that she was the hand that needed to feel God's love at that moment in time and I was the person God wanted to use to tell her of His greatness. I pray for more of those opportunities where I yield to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to bring true and lasting comfort.

For we are called to be restorers...
repairers of the breach the torn...
We are called to heal the broken hearted...
to comfort those who weep and mourn...

I read the blog on Ethan and am in agreement for God's perfect work in his life and for the pregnant woman. I speak peace, comfort, power and praise in Jesus name. Amen

Again, thanks for the great comments…everything’s fine with the e-mail now…I’m in agreement for the prayer requests…welcome, new bloggers…if you’re having problems with the streaming, you might want to contact Streaming Faith directly because we’re not hearing complaints from the world in general…and, no, the meetings with Kim Clement won’t be streamed…

Speaking of (and I may mention this in tomorrow’s article) some of you who are part of cyber-CITN have mentioned the possibility of coming to Conyers on a particular weekend, and I would like to suggest that this coming weekend would be the ideal time to do that…it’s our 23rd Anniversary with an awesome morning service (I’m ordaining 6 ministers, one of whom is Dennis Caldwell who is on here every day, and Machion Garrison who is also frequently here), and Kim will be coming in straight from Israel and will be ministering in the evening service…

If you want to come and be a part of it, just make a decision and do it! I really believe that you will be glad you did…

Another incredible day. Today has been a very quiet day for me. I don't know if its presence of the sweet holy spirit, or is is just me. There is so much going on in our surrounding areas, the world, and yes it makes me sad listen to it all. You're right Bishop, sometimes we have to change the channel, because its so sad. I started praying in the spirit for everthing. This was last night when the winds were so strong. Amazingly, I had a supernatural peace. I felt hidden as if his wings had hovered us. I've been feeling like lately. I truly believe that God hears our prayers. We are a very unique bunch. We may be spreaded apart, but we are definately connected. Do what Bishop say excercise your spiritual gifts. Pray in the spirit everywhere you go. In the bathroom, in the car, getting gas, while you're at the gym, pray to yourself. I do that often when I'm doing a cycling class. The music's loud. They can'y hear me, but God does. Pray, Pray, Pray. Touch, Touch, Touch. People just need to get out of the closet.

Be Blessed..
