Of the mighty things I witnessed during this weekend of reign, what sticks out the most to me was how the the Holy Spirit used Dane, Judah, Jonah and Jimmy. Four brilliant, talented, annointed yet humble young men that the Lord will use to help Him usher in the New in the Now, a wave of a move of the Spirit that will be so intensely motivated by the purest hunger and thirst for the Spirit and with a passion to ensure that this wave moves among the youth, that Holy Spirit addiction among the youth is about to not only take place, but is going to spread like wild fire throughout this country.
Free Bird...I agree. Young men like those you mentioned, who, unlike our generation(assuming you are of "our" generation), are free from fear and legalism and hopefully decide to reject fundamentalism, will be the ones who will separate "religion" from any individual belief system and restore it to its original purpose(take the time to look up the oldest usage of the word religion, "religio" and "religare". How it got so misinterpreted I'll never know) of "relinking" people to people and ultimately, people to the Ultimate Source. Ones whose focus is not bringing the world to Jesus but instead, through their message and lifestyle of love and inclusion, make known the Christ ever present within the hearts of all humanity.
About this weekend... a lot of supernatural things happened and as Elbert Hubbard said: "the supernatural is the natural not yet understood". True understanding of this weekend and all it's events from Bishop's slideshow of his trip to Clement's visit will manifest in time. Not saying the events weren't significant in the present; they certainly and evidently were. I'm just feeling there was so much more than meets the eye that happened, time will be the only thing that can reveal it all.
restoration (noun)return to former condition was spoken strongly on last night. Kim Clement spoke of "corn in Egypt" and restoration. Corn in Egypt was very symbolic to me the wilderness experiences, seasons of lost, separation of family, the locust and canker worm stealing. The corn in Egypt symbolizes turning that wildrness experience into ministries, restoring the years that has been lost with family (separation, misunderstanding, estrangment) and restoration of relationship, family, material goods, finances and time. That entire experience has come against the believer to wound him/her, to steal, to confuse and distract (mainly distraction) from destiny and purpose, but in fact we are in a season of restoration whereby the spirit of God is re-arranging some things and transferring wealth back to the body of Christ.
I also heard Kim say, "don't sell your prophetic voice - by selling it you are selling your kingship for slavery" Well, the word (logos and rhema) through the Bible and Bishop tells us that all of words are seeds and prophetic and should be thought over and spoken gently and gingerly as we create our environment, our ministries, our circumstances, our everything. We are to prophesy to our proportion of faith that works in us.
Now our kingship comes through knowing that we are ambassadors to the king in the kingdom of God. We are the king of Kings (little k). We are lord of Lords (little l) and that we have to give an account for every idle word we speak. So that we can sell our kingship or trade our birthright for a bowl of porridge (temporary manna) by our prophectic voice.
Can we agree for a restoration of finances for our churchand to many of our households at Church in the Now, in Jesus name!
And Kim said that "God gives kings dreams" and He does. God is the future in the present.
The present is what God (daddy God, Abba Father) gives his children, a present.
Kim was used to say we prophesy to a person's DNA. I believe we prophesy because of a person's DNA or their blood line, their heritage, who they are, well simply because that is who God has created them to be. Just a quick meditation about DNA, one's DNA is the essence of a person, so we can and do speak to who that person is and the individual's past, present and future.
He says your future is about to become your present. Yes when we embrace the "I amness" of God, all things are possible.
Also, he spoke of "Go out", don't isolate yourself. I believe that was to the body of Christ - the church without walls. God is speaking to the church without walls.
Get your passport, in the spirit and in the natural. Have passport will travel. I don't have my passport in the natural but travel is coming to me and our local body. I do have my passport in the spirit.
I believe CITN is experiencing (living) Acts 2 on many levels.
The weekend was powerful! We enjoyed the prophet of God. God uses Kim Clement in amazing ways. I examined myself and wondered why we sometimes think that we can't get in touch with our future unless a prophet speaks over us. We all sit there and hope he says something to us. It's so exciting and awe inspiring. Yet, Kim spoke something that I've known all the time, but don't always practice. We have the DNA programmed in us. We can find out own future (at least the gist of it) by getting in touch with God. When we really touch Him, and seek His presence, He will reveal many things to us. Our problem: it takes work in the spiritual realm, much prayer, singing, praise, submission, seeking, etc. Most of us get tired before we tap in.
I marvel at how much time in praise, worship and intercession must take place before the prophet gives a word. We don't have more prophets because most of us are impatient. We would like for God to send us a memo with our names on it and spell everything out clearly....good news only please!
Even thought the prophet did not speak to many of us individually, we all got the Word of the Lord. He gave us a valuable lesson in how to acquire passion for our lives. When the future becomes our now, we can say, "As long as I have breath, I can win!"
The primary word I received was: you have labored and the labor is over, just speak the word over it.
Love and blessings. Need to go pray and meditate. I want that passion!
This weekend was all that I hoped it would be and more. The anticipation of waiting for the Prophet and then the actual sitting in the service Saturday and Sunday was all that I had prayed for.
The word restoration was so strong this weekend and that is more than what I needed to hear. Last week I began a restoration in our family with some distant family members and I believe the word was confirmation for me to continue on with what is happening. It has been far too long for the distance and I am looking forward to where God is going to take this.
November kept coming up a lot and I have been believing that by November we will have many things to be thankful for. It will be our best Thanksgiving ever.
On another note I have to say how proud I was of Dane, Judah, Jonah, and David. It is great seeing "big church" embracing what we get every Wednesday at the Mix. You four guys rock!!
Bishop...thanks for listening to the Holy Spirit and opening the doors up for all that took place this weekend.
Restoration wow I seen a mountain last night while worshiping with you all last before Kim starting talking about the mountain. There is corn in Egypt There is corn in Egypt There is yet more ground to till in Conyers. When Bishop came home from Isreal he said we would all be so wealthy we would try to beat each other to help the world. Is Conyers Egypt? 2 weeks ago while walking the perimeter of our house in a rain storm I had a vision of bishop and the world and then a New Jeruselem. I seen the orphans cared for. The following sunday Bishop was home from his trip and prophesied over us all. I am praising my Father learning a new song, expecting the miraculous restoration, expecting great things Praising the light into the darkness and asking for my mountain! Thank you Beautiful Tender Hearted Loving Father who Owns Everything The Eye Can See for a Great Happening of Your SPIRIT!!!!!! I AM READY!!!
Just wanted you all to know Im still out hear reading your post but haven’t had much time. I still haven’t made it home yet I stopped here at a motel in Russelville AR. Last night. I was just too tired to safely drive on home; about another 180 miles.
The word today on blogs makes me think of how this form of community is becoming so popular. My blog has recently surpassed my website in hits per month. This is where its at today in the now.
Sounds like you all had a great time with Kim in the House. I keep hearing mountain and restoration; well complete restoration in Christ is the name of my web site and one of the prophetic words spoken over me this weekend was about a mountain the prophet (Charles Slagle) was perplexed as to what he was seeing, there was more but I will make this short. I was just wondering what Kim said about these.
The meeting in OK City was great I will tell you more about it later when I get more time. I also took lots of pics I am going to put on my blog with an article about the meeting.
What a blessed weekend! Words can't express my joy at being in the services with Sgt. Powell, who traveled all the way across the country to hear the Prophet. I'm still absorbing all that the Prophet said, but my spirit bore witness to the extent that I could barely stay in my seat. (Kind of crucial when working in the sound booth!)
Father's Day was a pleasant one for our family for the first time in many, many years; a real manifestation of the restoration that was so prevalent in the house.
On another note, I LOVE today's picture of you Bishop, taken at the Sunrise service I bet? What a serene light/aura emanating from you!! Makes me happy just to see it...
peacemaker, As far as those who are in the legalism or fundamentalism you talked about, please do consider one thing: Romans 8:1 says - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. We have to let the Lord be the judge as to who is and who isn't living accordingly.
* "What have you witnessed?" (the omni, collective or personal perspective)
* "Deal was closed. But, now is opened," offers hope in what appears to be a hopeless situation.
My mom hadn't returned to her country (Okinawa) for 23 years. Prior to that - 33 years. An opportunity arose in May. She visited her brother (Isao - pronounced Esau - !!!) and other family members.
Prophet Clement mentioned something about soil, Saturday night. I had just left the airport, after seeing her off to TX. (She gave me a trinket - a bottle of sand from a beach, there.)
Momma & her brother inherited land from their father (descendant of kings - the DNA thing!).
Through a series of events, their title got "passed" along to her uncle's family. Once home, she was informed the land no longer belonged to her or her brother. (cousins & others have built businesses, yielding profit)
* I wonder what kind of lasso can capture the future & bring it to now...
* No effort. No labor.
* Spontaneous & happening
* Moses on the mountain-top in suspended animation. Somewhere in the cleft of a mountain, in the cleft of God, in the cleft of time...
WOWOWOWOW...I think stuff like that, too! How God is looking for a sound, a "relevant language", like light. And, it makes my chest aches (for trebling). Here, (in the natural) it seems only to emerge as words. (nevertheless, EMMANUEL)
* I wonder if it's a parable ("there's corn in Egypt") Does God mean a literal Egypt? (or something symbolic for our nation?)
Like... is this sound, a spotlight on Nebraska? (Lincoln?)
From a personal perspective, somewhere in an old family album, there's a pic of my dad as a boy, standing beside his (farmer) father & grandfather. In front of them, a wagon full of corn. (in Nebraska)
They're deceased now, but in honor of Father's Day, I'm laughing about mine, remembering scenes from "Hee Haw".
Jr. & the Culhanes of Cornfield County, mostly. Daddy's probably pickin' & grinnin' with Buck Owens & Johnny Cash. Or Orville Redenbacher. (wonder if that's the corn of heaven)
* Law of attraction: I'm drawn to these words: "Mysterious influence is Christ", and "This has never happened before! It's a miracle!"
* Loved that song - "I'm bringing you out by My prayers."
* Thanks, Mystic
Sigh... there was sooo much to convey; silence seemed wise.
I am so full after last night... mountains, DNA, JC+, the Abba Father, LOSS=GAIN, and RESTORATION NOW..
It was very significant for me that I had my family there together last night-- as Kim prayed for that particular family, I could SO receive what he was saying...
Thank you for your admonishment and I also understand Romans 8. However, I don't think you heard me in the spirit in which I wrote. I absolutely, in no way, would condemn any one for the walking in what ever light they may be in at the present moment. My issue is when they try to blind anyone else with that light. Those who choose to divide in the name of "religion", especially Christianity, instead of unite. I have been the cheifest of sinners in my day and also a very judgemental, legalistic so-called Christian. I understand pretty much all paradigms. My hope and prayer is those who choose to divide, judge, sever relationships, or anything else that is contrary to the message of Christ, in the name of Christ, will at some point evolve. True restoration depends on it.
Thank you for your wisdom and feedback. I am honored for my comment to have even been considered by you.
LET THE RIVER FLOW LET ALL THE DREAMERS WAKE THE NATIONS, COME THE NEW JERUSALEM. QUITE UNUSUAL FOR ME TO HAVE THIS SONG IN MY SPIRIT AS I WAS TAKING MY MORNING WALK. AS I PONDERED, IT IS ALL ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS DONE THIS WEEKEND IN OUR LIVES, IN CITN, IN AMERICA AND THE NATIONS. LET IT BE UNTO US ACCORDING TO THE WORDS OF THE LORD THROUGH KIM CLEMENT, AMEN. I FEEL THAT GOD HAS USED KIM TO STIR OUR TIRED, WOUNDED AND FAINTING SPIRIT UP. GOD KNOWS WHERE WE ARE IN THE SPIRIT WITH OUR WALK IN HIM AND HE SENDS THE RIGHT MESSAGE TO US NO MATTER HOW SIMPLE IT MAY LOOK IN THE NATURAL. THE WATERS HAVE BEEN STIRED AND WE NEED TO START JUMPING IN. GOD HAS DONE HIS PART AND OUR PART IS TO RUN WITH THE PROPHETIC WORDS IN PRAYER, SONG, WORSHIP, ATTITUDE, PERCEPTION, CHARACTER, DECISON MAKING, BUSSINESS, GIVING, LOVING, RECIEVING, APPROACHE ETC. THE WORDS OF THE PROPHET IS HOLISTIC IN APPROACH. I LIKE THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT PROPHESY MUCH TO INDIVIDUAL BECAUSE IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME. HE IS A PROPHET TO THE NATIONS AND NOT MANY PROPHET CARRY THIS MANTLE. WE NEED TO KNOW THE MIND OF GOD IN EVERY THING AROUND US. GOD KNOWS THAT CITN IS READY FOR SUCH GLODAL WORD BECAUSE CITN IS READY TO TAKE CONYERS, AMERICA AND THE NATIONS FOR GOD. THE SEED OF GODS WORD HAS BEEN SOWN ON THE GROUND OF CONYRES AT CITN BY THE PROPHET. BECAUSE THE SOLE OF THE FEET OF THE PROPHET OF GOD HAS TREADED IN CONYERS, WE SHALL POSSESS THIS TIME. SO LET US BRACE OURSELVES. WHILE OTHERS MAY SEE US AS DEAD BONES, GOD SEES US AS MIGHTY ARMIES READY TO INVADE THE COMMUNITY WITH THE TRUTH. WE HAVE TO BRING THE FUTURE OF THIS COMMUNITY IN OUR NOW AND ONCE OUR MIND SET IS IN ORDER WITH THE WORDS OF KIM CLEMENT, EVERY OTHER THING NECESARY WILL BE ATTRACTED INCLUDING FIANCES FOR THE WORK. NO DREAM NO ATTRACTION. I AGREE WITH BLOGGER, MAY FLOWER ON THE FACT THAT KIM SPENT TIME IN WORSIP. WE HAVE TO LABOR IN PRAYER AND PRAISE TO GET WHAT WE WANT FROM GOD. WE CANNOT TAKE NOTHING IF WE CANNOT GIVE NOTHING. I BELIEVE IT IS TIME FOR BISHOP AND PASTOR DEBYE TO TAKE OVER THE CITY.THEY HAVE LABORED TOO LONG, BEEN IN ONE PLACE FOR TOO LONG, FIGHTING THE FIGHT OF FAITH FOR TOO LONG. BUT THANK GOD THAT THERE IS STILL CORN IN EYGPT FOR THEM AND THERE IS STILL FISHES IN THE OCEAN FOR THEM. THE VERY PLACE WHERE THEY HAVE SUFFERED HUMILATION, SHAME AND BETRAYAL WILL CELEBRATE THEM AND INCREASE WILL COME OUT OF IT TO THEM. GOD WILL MAKE THEM FRUITTFUL IN THE LAND OF THEIR AFFLICTIONS LIKE JOSEPH. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE THEIR BOAT OR GO TO ANOTHER SIDE TO FISH. GOD WILL ENLARGE THEM AND BRING THEM INCREASE FROM THEIR PREVIOUS LABOUR.NO MORE LABOR BUT FAVOR. IN MY SPIRIT I KNOW BISHOP AS ONE OF THE SPIRITUAL GIANT IN ROCKDALE AND BEYOND. FINALLY I WILL LIKE TO US THIS TIME TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR BIRTH WISHES TO ME, FREE BIRD, LARRY, YVONNE, LISA,MAYAM, ANONYMOUS,MYSTIC,AVATOR, KETTLY ETC. BISHOP THANKS FOR YOUR ONE THOUSAND BLESSINGS, MY CUP IS RUNNING OVER. WITH MUCH, MUCH LOVE , MERCY.
Bishop, What is on my mind is "where in the heck are the reports about Fathers Day service?" Since some of your spiritual kids don't get the luxury of being there...we rely on feedback from our siblings! :) HELLO???? What happened? Smile :) Love you! Leesa
I watched your sermon on Sunday via the Streaming Faith application, and I want to address a few things you said. But first, I'd like to respond to an earlier post preceding Sunday's message.
You begin by mentioning the High exhibit of photographs from the civil rights era in America, urging your members to experience it for themselves. Part of what I respect in your work is your encouragement of community involvement. This exhibit is important to see, because, after all, it is the truth. It is our true history that was once glossed over by our school textbooks or avoided by our more conservative religious leaders.
Further down, you recount your experiences in Israel and Palestine. You write of a 'spirit of understanding' toward the Israelis and the Palestinians. You see all viewpoints. You understand their arguments. You find them equally valid. Here you remind me of David Hare in Via Dolorosa, an honest play through which the author explains and interprets his experiences in visiting both Israel and Palestine. Yet, what David Hare is certain to include is a sense of reality, of 'real people in the real world,' as you might say.
Only these people are not experiencing God. Even in comparison to the struggles of the civil rights movement in American history, these people are experiencing Hell. If you want pictures, I can point you (and anyone who might read this) to Mosaic news, a collection of news sources from around the Middle East. www.linktv.org/mosaic
Gaza is an open-air prison where not just civil, but human rights are crushed daily. Given the context of your post, I expected to hear some reference to this injustice in your sermon when I tuned in on Sunday. And, though it’s true that my video stream failed intermittently, I certainly heard this message to your president: "President Bush, if you're listening, I support Israel," with the explanation of not wanting to be harassed at the airport.
It troubles me that your congregation doesn't press you for an explanation of the real situation in the heart of the Mid-east, where you have been. Though I'm not surprised, given the limited access most suburban Americans have to foreign media. If they were aware, they might ask why, after repeated and devastating counterattacks, rockets are still fired into Israel from Palestine, or why dozens of unarmed Palestinians die each day at the end of an Israeli barrel (made in the USA), or why Israeli tanks continue to demolish Palestinian homes for new settlements when the United Nations has issued a resolution demanding they stop. But they don't ask these questions, because they don't know. Why don’t you tell them?
Do you believe in fighting for civil rights...right now? I know you maintain a high profile. You are well-known, throughout the country, I would imagine. This is all the more reason to take a stand. Surely you can see that the absence of justice here in the Middle East has lead to exponentially more injustice throughout the world and, as we've seen in the past decade, in America.
To better understand the depth of the injustice, I ask you and your readers to imagine America supporting South African apartheid. Now give both blacks and whites weapons. Of course, the blacks' weapons are pathetically inferior to the whites', so much so that most blacks only have rocks with which to pelt the tanks of their oppressors. It would not take long before the black South African were no more.
Well, the Palestinian is on the cusp of extinction. While some tourists are looking for the 'Israel of God' that Paul wrote of in the first century, the temporal Israel rises today, in the now, on real human corpses in the ashes of more than one faith.
You will forgive me if I am passionate or incredulous at times. For most Americans, a visit to the holy land is a very personal, spiritual experience. However, in ignoring the violations of human rights, it is also an approbation of racist and hegemonic ideals.
I just have a minute to write a short response to you because I have appointments to meet, but I’ll answer more fully when I have some free time later tonight (whatever time that is for you in Egypt).
Thank you for streaming the service, and for making your thought-provoking comments on the blog. Your point is very well taken, and I appreciate what you had to say.
Future is so bright we have to wear shades. Ha, ha, ha. My spirit is laughing and rejoicing with all of what God has in store for me and what he has given me as a witness to my own destiny in him. I know the path I am being led down and it is going to be the best continuous surprise party along the way. As God, brings gifts of encouragement, knowledge, strength, favor, and provision along my way. And even in times of difficulties I know that he is my rock and our team wins. I can keep going, as I am strengthened, stretched and miraculously transformed one step at a time, giving me the ability to continuously do his work that he has so graciously bestowed upon me. I am humbly honored and excited about all the people I will get to know along the way and let them know How Great Our God is. I love you guys. Thank you, Bishop for an awesome Father’s day service and the opportunity to praise my heavenly father. Thank you for saying yes to Kim Clement ITB. His words for our Church and the missions of our church are well received. I will also get to hear Kim Clement as a guest speaker on my monthly webinar I am taking with Lance Wallnou. You all have a wonderful and blessed day. Love, Pamela
Thank you for being our spirtual leader. I came Sunday and experienced Kim Clement, out of support for you and to experience a proclaimed prophet. It was fantastic for the individuals who had a word from Prophet Clement, but I know for me it was more validation(not that I needed any!), that I am a proud member of CITN and yours and Pastor Debye's ministry.
OUR MINISTRY! I want to encorage more of our members to think more in those terms. If you take ownership, you learn more, you think more, you give attention to it. Think of your first car, or apartment, or house; it makes you excited to use it or be there, and for me that is how I feel about CITN.
The Holy Spirit is all over our church, if you have been ITB in person you feel it, you know it. There has been some kind of unannouced revival at CITN since Septemeber, 2008. It inspired my wife and I to get focused on giving God what he has given us.
Pastor Debye is correct, make a commitment to an amount for God and he will reward you! After three months the 10% tithe became a no brainer. We have three kids and a new business. Only God and our faith as good stewards could make this happen!
Please take ownership of our blessings at CITN. Every time we walk in the front door of the church I tell my wife those two bricks are ours!
Thank you Bishop and Pastor Debye! You are taking our church to global places we want to go to! We will go on your shirt tails!
The success of our church relies on every members support! Giving to God is the key to success because when you give to him, it takes care of CITN, and your family. You know, "As you sow so shall you reap" Heard it all my life, but it has taken CITN to let me fully understand the simplicity of the message.
WOW! I think I have said what I have been pregnat with, and in labor with for several months. AND MY WATER BROKE!
So my prophsey over my family of CITN is "Give" like you never have.
From a fellow member who didn't know they could be a prophet!
Injustice and inhumanity to other men are found wherever there are men. No one is guiltless is this entire situation, "Palestinian" or Israeli, Hamas, Syria, Hezbollah, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Jew, Christian, Muslim, anyone. The Bible has the best solution of any that I know- "for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places. Will not the God of righteousness bring a righteous outcome-yes. When we as a people of God get off our collective spiritual rear ends and pray like there's no tomorrow, we shall see the desired outcome- understanding that this situation will NOT be remedied in the flesh! The problem is being started by both sides over there in the CRADDLE, with each teaching their children to HATE the other from birth. But GOD! But God! But God is a God of Resurrection, restoration and renewal and I believe there are cracks in the enemy's camp that will break into open breaches that the Sprit of God will exploit to cause this whole area to change into something new. It is my belief, and I find it difficult to qualify, that we are soon to see a massive paragigm shift in the world for the better brought about by the hand of the Lord, so I am very optimistic that what you hope for will come to pass. Peace and blessings to you and may God keep you safe and sheltered under His wings.
Someone asked about Father's Day service, it truly was fathers Day, Abba Father's Day! The worship was so sweet as we climbed up in daddy's lap and kissed the Son, we gave Him such a sweet sloppy sugary kiss (it's a southern thing)and we kept on kissing Him as we acknowledged His amazing love. That made father's day for me special, because He is my real dad!
We watched Bishop's and Pastor Debye's Holy Land slideshow. I am making a squeaky old professor's voice now, like Bishop did when he made fun of himself. It really was very educational and interesting, not at all boring! Actually, the picture with Pastor Debye wearing the scarf was funny as she seemed "quieter". The father's were prayed over and they were honored by the congregation.
Bishop admonished the folks who streamed on Saturday night to be ITB Sunday evening!
We ran a little over (not 1/2 hour) but it was sweet!
There was a guest who was a psalmist - I believe Trent was his name, he was very anointed to finish up "Amazing Love" - he sound like he had a testimony.
It was sweet as we anticipated Kim Clement's Sunday night continuation of the prophectic summit. The thing I was jazzed about was seeing the authority he walked in, including Kim erasing a tragedy from a very dear lady who was on stage. I knew that was cool and never thought about doing it, now I will!
Anyway, in between services, we honored some fathers in the church so it and truly it was God's day!
What resonated with me – not reciting scripture over and over again. If I’m bored with it in my own prayers, God’s gotta be. “I” have something to say! “I” have my own relationship with God and don’t need to always use Paul or David’s experience in place of my own. Gods word is what he’s saying to me now. Otherwise, to be honest, I initially found myself disappointed after the Kim Clement meeting. Not sure if it was because my cynical mind thought his prophecies were more vague this time and could be adopted as truth for anyone in almost any situation...almost like a horoscope. Today however, I felt this renewed sense that it will make more sense as time progresses. As if his message the first night of bringing back what you have witnessed in the future to the present is actually taking place beyond what we realize. In this case, he was the witness and we have to believe/receive the presence he brought back to us until we learn to witness it ourselves. I really felt like last time he was here it was an explosion of prophecies, this time I felt like he was almost passing the buck to us (individually or as a church) saying, start reading your own DNA…perhaps by more spontaneity, I don’t know. (by the way-pretty amped about erasing the lady's death date) I kept thinking back to when Bishop had words of wisdom for people by their nicknames. I feel like we have much more of that to come. Abraham – I feel your frustration somehow and wish I knew more about the current situation in the mid-east and more specifically what to do other than pray and believe for peace. ~first time blogger~it took a while
Taking in what the weekend brought. On Sat. I was driving up I20 the clouds formed a face & a dove flying towards the face. As I got closer to CITN the clouds formed a baby in an opened blanket. The face was looking at the baby & the dove was going toward the baby. Cool image. A birth has taken place. Be Still and Know He Is The I AM
I am in so much agreement with all of you about the heightened hunger for the Living God and as Bishop says there is a high "gif"- "get it factor". The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us all, is it any wonder that He would be speaking similarly to us? It was great to be in the prophetic anointing at CITN Sat. & Sun. Two things the prophet said brought me back to two visions the Lord shared with me that I think are worth retelling. 1) The Mountain
God gave me a vision of being up on top of the highest mountain and looking all around me, then He started to speak of all the benefits of being there.
-Unobstructed view-clear vision, abilty to see God. -Very little noise other than the "wind", no distractions, abilty to hear God. -The sun was very bright and shone brightly on all below- ability to see as God sees and to see situations before they get to you.
The Mountain, unfortunately, is not easily attained-one must have a strong desire to climb to the top. Few there are that you will see at the top. There are many "crevases" and difficult stretches to surmount, many give up having given in to the fear of falling or having become too distracted by the dangers around them. You will also NOT climb by yourself- you need strong members of the body to help you. God is on top of the Mountain and it is worth every inch of the climb to rise to that pinnacle to be with Him, hear Him, see like Him, talk to Him.
2) God gave me a vision of a "tidal wave" that I saw in the spirit come toward us; I asked Him to show me more about what this was. As I was standing in the lobby of CITN I saw a massive wall of brown water coming toward, then up against, then into the church. Simultaneously, there was a "giant" that had burst in through the front wall of the church that several people standing in the lobby slew with stones from slingshots- I believe this was the god of "religion", the god of self. This water was human waste water-sewage, all I could think was "oh, my God, what is this?", but as the water proceeded in through the doors of the lobby into the sanctuary it changed from a flow of water into strands of gold. The Lord said that this was what was coming to CITN- those that have been considered "human waste", the outcasts, the unchurched, the uncared for, the unlovely and they will be changed into gold at the Master's touch. He also told me "where there is much need, there is much provision", He will provide greatly because the need will be so great.
God has been preparing Bishop first, then us as a congregation for these things to take place, with the setting aside of attitudes, judgmenatlism and self-righteousness and bringing a hunger for the Lord that has not ever been this great in our hearts- a desire to "see" God, to be in His bosom, to really, really know Him as a husband and wife know each other intimately. "Come away with me " says the Lord, "and I will learn of you as you learn of me". Say to the Potter, "Lord, make your hands full of my clay as you mold me, bend me into any shape you desire, because I know in being that vessel will my true fulfilment come."
First time blogger awesome and open any prophecy comes or should come from what is already in you,PM I feel you, Abraham=I hate it that it has to be a black or white thing and not just an unfortunate lack of knowledge in a certain area -I would love to assume that we are very unintelligent in the matters of the Middle East. We have neighborhoods right up the street where gangs are raping little girls, restaurants are held up at gunpoint daily, people are going out of business and many are sick in our own country because of lack of government involvement for health insurance ... I know your situation in the Middle East is far worse than we could ever imagine, but please understand that as a selfish people we sometimes only consider what is right in front of us. Even our Bishop has a flock that is plagued with illness, financial hardship, addictions and confusion to deal with. Please bear with us as we desire and pursue a bigger picture.
This weekend has blown me away!! Alot of confirmation.
Bishop, I loved the the pictures from Israel. When Kim Clement was talking about Jeremiah Sat. I couldn't stop thinking about Jer. 31:34.
“No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they ALL shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more”
Seeing those pictures and you talking about "ALL, EVERY, and THE WORLD"--I've been reading March 12ths blog almost everyday now. It's a now word for the WORLD!!
The DNA thing very cool!! Here's what I have just done before the weekend. I mailed a DNA kit to my potenial brother in Colorado. I won't know the results for awhile, but if they come back postive then...I will know who my birthfather is.
Singing to Abba Father last night was so beautiful...really, this Father's Day was very special to me. God is so GREAT, and GREATLY 2 B PRAISED!! YEAH!!
So, that's whats on my MIND!! Oh, I find it very neat too. That I was sharing with a friend before Sun. night service about Jeremiah. Telling her I can so relate to the prophet...The first name Kim Clement called out last night..(Jeremiah)--what a AWWW moment.
Apparently, your comments have already received a fair amount of response here, so I’ll be brief. First of all, I’m really glad that you streamed the service yesterday, and I’m curious to know how you found us.
Secondly, I only know a little about what is actually going on in Gaza, but I don’t doubt that you’re telling the truth about it. We didn’t visit the area when we were in Palestine, recently, but I did hear some things about Gaza when I was in Ramallah, and my heart really went out to the Palestinians in general. They are in a very difficult place, facing a seemingly impossible situation. In fact, I’m still trying to process it all...trying to discern my role in the peace process. The American news, as you can imagine, has a tendency to have a pro-Isreali slant, so it would be somewhat unrealistic for my congregation to arbitrarily demand more information about Palestine. They only know what they have (or haven’t) heard. Believe me, the information that I have already shared with them is more than the average American Christian church ever receives.
And concerning my statement to George Bush…you wouldn’t know it by only having visited us online once, but I use a good bit of tongue-in-cheek humor like that to get some of my more difficult points across in an effective way. It’s a mode of communication that helps me deal with things that many pastors never attempt to address. The fact is, I do love Israel, but I love Palestine, as well. I don’t know how it’s all going to work out…I pray not in nuclear war.
Ahmadinejad denies that the holocaust happened. I do believe that it happened, and even know some survivors and children of survivors of it. And the reality of that horrible experience is all the more reason that Israeli intolerance and violence is so reprehensible to me. When I saw the license plates that the Palestinians are forced to put on their cars, it reminded me of the stars that the Germans made the Jews wear on their clothes when Hitler came to power.
Anyway, I hope that dialogue like this makes a positive difference. You are welcome here, and I pray that you receive the responses from the bloggers in the spirit of good will that I know they have for you.
At the end of the day, I believe that love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8). Love is the only hope for the world.
I pray a blessing on you, and on the beautiful nation of Egypt.
ive been in this really quiet mood. sorry i dont have much to post.. ive fasted all this month.. and really have this sense of expectancy on me.. i read the posted stuff. and all i can say is peace.. theres so much on my mind.. and im just in a really still place.. calmly waiting.. im sure u guys have been here and prob are here right now.. hence all the anonymous post.. love u guys.. nights.. will share laters.
The optimism and goodwill I've felt from your responses are encouraging. Thank you, Free Bird, Mayam, Avatar, Iris, and ‘first-time blogger’ for your peace and blessings.
Larry, you seem to be what my childhood pastor would have called “on fire” for God. In checking out your profile, I see you’re something of a literary buff. I recommend you peruse the writings of David Hare and Father Elias Chacour to get a sense of how the problem really started and is currently being perpetuated in the Fertile Crescent.
You’re right; the weaknesses of ‘the enemy’ (i.e. those in power who beget injustice) are becoming apparent. I hope that you all are beginning to see the holes in America’s assumed cloak of righteousness. I was reading an article just last week that speculated Obama has a chance to win Georgia in the general election. For a state that has easily gone to the Neo-cons in the past three elections, this is an indication of some change at home. If Americans can only realize that the fears they have are planted in them to control them, then perhaps they will vote with their hearts and not their guts. Orwell foresaw this never-ending war, this hate-mongering.
You suggest, Larry, that the spirit of God will exploit these weaknesses. I propose that those who do God’s work are the manifestation of His spirit here on Earth, and it is only through our action, not simply our silent hopes whispered in private, that the power of the spirit becomes salient.
Addressing your response, Jim, I visited your site at the recommendation of some family. In fact, we’ve met. I’ve even been on your stage, but I’m using a pseudonym for a number of reasons. As an American myself, I know all about the American media bias. Unfortunately, I’ve not yet been able to get reliable reception of your streaming video. If I could access it with the continuity I did this past Sunday, I’d tune in more often, and perhaps I’d witness the regional insight you share with your congregation.
Many here in Egypt agree with Ahmadinejad. My wife and I encounter children who, no doubt having heard the maledictions of their parents, say they hate all Jews. Israeli children are given the opportunity to sign their names on rockets bound for Palestine. Racism and ignorance exist on both sides, as Larry points out, and its imperative the West recognizes, as you do, the bitter irony of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. I, too, hope that this conflict does not end in nuclear war. However, I fear it may, for our own government has supplied one side with the largest nuclear arsenal in the region.
Let us pray. Let us act. Let us share the truth with one another.
Walaikum salaam wa rahmatu ‘allah wa barakatu (Peace and the grace of God and blessings upon you all)
I haven't written in a while as I am not sure the peace that is promulgated here is, or can be, a reality. I'm with Abraham on this. Imagine that, someone right of McCain supporting a Palestinian. Abraham makes several references to strength, or lack thereof, as it relates to international and intranational relations.
I don’t see the Mideast as several nations. It seems Baltic in nature and is in the condition it is in due to European imperialism and intervention over the past two hundred years. The powerful superimposed a template over the region, nationalized it, deeded authority to kings, dictators, and despots who would smile favorably to the north and west and generally speak when spoken to. Remember the shah? He was our greatest ally in the region. The only difference between him and Sadaam is that one liked us and the other didn't.
To my point. Peace only comes through understanding. We are not ready to understand because there is so much anti-jingoism in the air towards America, that we cannot possibly purvey peace or portray ourselves as impartial participants in the peace process.
There are bullies in the Mideast. "Me and Mine" is their shibboleth. What belongs to them? We don't know, but they do. Peace comes from recognizing that each is valid and has a point of view. It also comes from recognizing that each has the power to enforce their will if they are not heard. Think of the five family meeting in "The Godfather". Potent entities agreeing on non-destruction of the others. That is the conception of peace.
Peace then gestates from mutual trust built on the assumption that my former enemy is now fighting a common foe (hunger, disease, resource depletion). Peace is born when we all recognize in one another that there is value in the other beyond the selfishness of nationalism. Peace matures when we protect that commodity of peacelife when it is threatened. Oh for the day that Palestine, Israel, Iran, and the United States stand together to thwart an anti-peace initiative.
Abraham, I do not see your point of view and probably never will as you will never see mine. But, my friend, we are brothers in search of the same thing and we are working towards it the same way. I see your strength and acknowledge that we cannot continue this way. We have made the frist steps.
Bishop, There is Corn in Egypt.....Corn in Egypt??? What does that mean?? 7 years of pleanty and 7 years of famine and yet there was corn in Egypt during the famine???
Perhaps you are a symbolic Joseph per se and we, the CITN body, are the Egypt with the spiritual abundance/truth that the world needs in the current famine (spiritual and physical)..

Dont miss this looking for that.
Fear not tommorw, God's already there.
Forever has no meaning when you are living in the now.
Definite move forward to what we know we can do.

Religion is barren in my praise.
As long as there is life in me, I can take this mountain.
All I need to do is ask.
GIVE ME THE MOUNTAIN
I HAVE ALREADY DONE THE WORK.
I'm excited...

restoration (noun)return to former condition was spoken strongly on last night.

Before your picture showed up all was black with the green, and my first thought was in the middle of darkness there is life.

May flower
Love and blessings,
pdt
Hey all you blessed bloggers,
Just wanted you all to know Im still out hear reading your post but haven’t had much time.
Peace,
Dennis
Makes me happy just to see it...
peacemaker,
As far as those who are in the legalism or fundamentalism you talked about, please do consider one thing: Romans 8:1 says - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. We have to let the Lord be the judge as to who is and who isn't living accordingly.
Where to begin?
* "Affirmation opens up regions!"
* No effort. No labor.
* Spontaneous & happening
* Thanks, Mystic
Sigh... there was sooo much to convey; silence seemed wise.
I am so full after last night... mountains, DNA, JC+, the Abba Father, LOSS=GAIN, and RESTORATION NOW..
It was very significant for me that I had my family there together last night-- as Kim prayed for that particular family, I could SO receive what he was saying...
Anon @ 7:56... well said.. to a "t"!!
TTFN
Anon...(I'm assuming Free Bird)

MOVING FORWARD!!
LET THE RIVER FLOW
LET ALL THE DREAMERS WAKE THE NATIONS,
COME THE NEW JERUSALEM.
I FEEL THAT GOD HAS USED KIM TO
STIR OUR TIRED, WOUNDED AND FAINTING SPIRIT UP.
Smile :)
Love you!
Fighting for a just peace in the Middle East,
Abraham

Abraham,
I just have a minute to write a short response to you because I have appointments to meet, but I’ll answer more fully when I have some free time later tonight (whatever time that is for you in Egypt).
Thank you for streaming the service, and for making your thought-provoking comments on the blog. Your point is very well taken, and I appreciate what you had to say.
Check back in a few hours…
Peace to you…
Future is so bright we have to wear shades.

My mind?
Seeking more of God.
To hear Him myself. More purely.
And prayer.
Amen, May Flower.
Hello, Abraham. I add my prayers for peace also.
Hello Bishop,
Thank you for being our spirtual leader.

Abraham,
Injustice and inhumanity to other men are found wherever there are men.
Larry
Bloggers,
I am in so much agreement with all of you about the heightened hunger for the Living God and as Bishop says there is a high "gif"- "get it factor".
Amen
Larry
Abraham, I speak peace to you as well. May the God of this universe give you the desires of your heart.
I am also in agreememt with everything Larry Usher said in his blog to you.
Peace my brother... Peace
Iris
What's on my mind?---ALOT..lol
By the way ya'll thanks for the prayers and calls we are gonna be ok. WE ARE OK.
Abraham,
Apparently, your comments have already received a fair amount of response here, so I’ll be brief.
As-salam alaikum,
Jim Swilley

CITN bloggers,
The optimism and goodwill I've felt from your responses are encouraging.
Walaikum salaam wa rahmatu ‘allah wa barakatu
(Peace and the grace of God and blessings upon you all)
Sahib,
I haven't written in a while as I am not sure the peace that is promulgated here is, or can be, a reality.
What's the next step?
Ain’t God Good?
Bishop, There is Corn in Egypt.....Corn in Egypt??? What does that mean?? 7 years of pleanty and 7 years of famine and yet there was corn in Egypt during the famine???
Perhaps you are a symbolic Joseph per se and we, the CITN body, are the Egypt with the spiritual abundance/truth that the world needs in the current famine (spiritual and physical)..
hmmmm just a thought.
