In the Mouth of Two or Three Witnesses...

Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying, "God has lost track of me. He doesn't care what happens to me"? Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening? God doesn't come and go. God lasts. He's Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall.

But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don't get tired, they walk and don't lag behind.
(Isaiah 40:27-31 -The Message)

Great word tonight Bish...I needed that. What I got out of it was that if God is doing something new (as prophesied over CITN)...something that has never been done before then it’s simply not possible to prepare for it. It's not about a new perspective, it’s about something that is literally “beyond all we can ask or THINK.” This “thing” has never existed before. While the idea is exciting, it’s also quite perplexing. How do you look for something that is so new it cannot even be imagined? Will we know it when we see it? Would it be a bit like cracking open a chicken egg and finding a puppy? Or will it be more alien in its appearance like discovering a previously unseen/unidentified species? Will it come from something that exists like woman from man or will it be so new that it will simply have to be a fresh creation from the hand of the Almighty? I have nothing but questions regarding this “new thing.” Until then we have some answer or direction, are we to simply keep doing what we are doing, not growing weary in it, and pray that we will know it when we see it or is there, in addition to it, something different to be done when we are involved in birthing something completely new?

This word has launched me into a whole new series of questions (only some of them are above) for which I seek answers. I’m at a loss to even try to figure out how to create something “NEW” either individually or as a Body. You said tonight that in the midst of our chaos this New Thing is being birthed…do you mean because of or in spite of chaos? Have you seen anything of it yet? A direction or perhaps God has given you a dream, vision, or other identifier regarding it yet? (Something you’d feel comfortable sharing of course.) It would be nice if He would give us something…direction or vision or answer…that would help us understand it even just a little bit. Is it correct, in your opinion, to pray in such a way? I have tried to stick to praying in the spirit for this Body of CITN (E & M) because I definitely do not know what we need.

As I said, it was a great service and it did start one heck of a Q & A in my head…really more Q with little or no A…but it feels a bit like it’s spinning right now with thoughts running wildly in circles…interconnected circles similar to the figure for infinity, but definitely circular-ish. It just seems that if it is New then perhaps we will have to do something equally New to birth it…does that make sense?

Thanks again for the word you brought…I thirst for more…thanks for letting me quiz you but I would like everyone’s input on this if I can get it. If anyone on this blog or CITNFBFAM (will post in both locations) has any comments, suggestions, or better yet dreams, visions, or revelations you can share with the class, it would be greatly appreciated.

Peace and Blessings Blog & CITN Fam!

Good stuff, Patti...love the way your mind works...I'm processing a lot, myself, right now, so I don't really have direct answers to share here...or maybe your questions are rhetorical...anyway, we really are daily eating the Manna (the "what is it?") in the wilderness of the now...my current word is:

"But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” (Ezekiel 2:8)

Just learning to enjoy the journey, remembering that the just shall live by faith...

Shared by Bishop: "But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” (Ezekiel 2:8)

Well...that's confirmation for me...God really did tell me to STFU & eat the (What is it?) Manna! (Speaking face to face as a friend of course...my friends actually talk that way...lol...)

Greater things than these...He healed the sick and RAISED THE FREAKING DEAD! I have not been able to imagine what He meant by "Greater things."

I find myself saying things like "Wow" "OMG" and "WT..." er other similar things and using lots of interjections (show excitement or emotion Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah YEAH...oops got carried away by Schoolhouse Rock...)

I hear or think of these things and it's as if He's saying, "Nope, Not even close, MORE." Then I think bigger and He says, "Uh uh...EXPAND Your Borders"...it's happened enough times now that I think my mind has reverted back to some form of floating quark in the midst of a matter/anti-matter stream of consciousness wherein I bring Dad a cool crab nebula I threw together and he says, "Yeah, that's pretty cool but think more "Universal"

I actually got to a point of throwing up my hands in a childish fit of "I might as well just forget about it because I just have no clue what you want from me...I give up...and then my Bishop walks to the podium with a particular acrostic that again...smacks me in the head, tells me to STFU and eat the FREAKING MANNA! OK OK! I'll live by Faith and STFU and eat Manna! Geesh...

Seriously Bish...yes, most of my questions were rhetorical...I'm pretty good at shadowboxing...but thank you so very much for sharing what you have...it really was another word in season. I'll do my level best to pray that I submit myself in this so that I can STFU and eat the Manna...I'll pray the same for you...

Peace...and on toward learning what infinity really means? Hey...I'm on board!
