"A heavenly attitude is theirs, those whose love is without conditions; they will therefore receive unconditional love."

Thank you Father for your Justice. We do reap what we sow!

A challenge to all of us to be sure our "no conditions" is actually that of NO CONDITIONS

When we love with no conditions, we can manifest so much earthly good.

Unconditional Love is that Love that asks for nothing in return.

TheCenturion, yes! That is one facet of the diamond that we search our whole lives to find... whether we know it or not. Another facet, of the giving part of that Love, is its desire that we become the whole being that we are designed to be.

As I've searched to find, see and know as many facets of this diamond that I can, I think THAT one, the desire for us to be whole, is sometimes defined as a "condition" by a receiver ("us" if we're talking about God). But when I've found the pure Loves that I've been blessed to have cross my path, they've always helped me to grow.

Frankly, they were often encased in conditional human love...but there were moments and events that were clearly unconditional. And they are the moments and events that I hold in me as an ideal: an "I-know-what-the-real-deal-looks-like" template so that the counterfeits can be detected.

Not to condemn the counterfeit, but simply to recognize it. Since, unlike counterfeit money, counterfeit love is often on its way to learning how to be real...like the Velveteen Rabbit. So squashing it would be the same as hurting a child.

Yes...Unconditional love can really only be possible as we are transformed into His image in my opinion... smile....
Unconditional love that reaches into the depths of darkness and SEES beyond the obvious, but with the supernatural eyes of faith. As in "your daughter is not dead..only sleeping" Arise...yes! Awaken from the deep sleep and Be ALL that you have been called to Be!

Deep....

PNancy, I've pondered the no-thing in return a lot. On one level, sure. Yet, Love is patient, so it must be waiting for something.

Without a long treatise, it seems to me that, at a minimum, Love is waiting for Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Righteousness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self-Control to manifest on the earth. Not necessarily what conditional love wants, but still a want.

If that's what Love wants, thank Goodness Love is patient--(smile)!
